Chapter 34 - Inside the Ivoryback Cavern.

As they entered the cavern, the wind accompanied them inside. The wind blew strongly, sending a chilling breeze down their spines and sending off a chilling howl. The lighting in this cavern was dim, and it was hard to see within the cavern, however, Jaymir and O'garth just let lanterns that had the Lavernion Repellate inside as fuel. Yet even though the cavern was dimly lighted, even with the lanterns, light shined through from the ceiling.

The cavern's ceilings, walls, and ground we all of coral, while the ground was of the white sand from the beach. While Stalagmites were on the ground, reaching to the ceiling, and stalactites were on the ceiling reaching for the ground, they looked like they were made of ivory, fossils, or even bones. Though there were coral all over the cavern, seashells stood out like a sore thumb, while seaweed ferns appeared around the cavern, crawling on the ground and walls.

Inside, sounds of dripping water echoed throughout the cave, followed by Jaymir and O'garth's footsteps, as the white sands started to become solid and rough. The air in the cavern was damp and cold, and the smell was of mold and mildew, while Jaymir and O'garth's lips were damp from the air. A freezing mist flowed within the cavern, also causing Jaymir and O'garth to shiver and have their skin form goosebumps.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, they heard laughter, as if mocking from behind them, and what followed was a huge and loud explosion, which crumbling of boulders and rocks came after. Jaymir and O'garth's eyes widen in shock, and they rush back at the entrance, only to find rubble in their way.

While outside the cavern, Emily heard the loud explosion and laughter, and she did exactly what Jaymir told her to do; she took off running back to the Town of Bumbleweed. Yet, as Emily bolted toward Bumbleweed, three men stood at the entrance of the cavern, which was now covered in rubble and debris, laughing at a mockingly state.

"Who in their right might would bring Gunpowder?" one of the men said.

"Morons that's who." Another man stated.

"Well, it was their own mistake, what were they even after?" the third man asked.

The three men walked away after one of them said, "Don't know, don't care, their stuff is ours now," as all three of them laughed at the misfortune.

Meanwhile, back in the Cavern, O'garth pounds on the wall of debris with his fist as he grumbles in rage, "damn it, i knew it!" Jaymir shook his head as he states to himself, "damn it, Greemo. You screwed us yet again." Jaymir looked at O'garth and said, "Let's continue; there has to be another way out." O'garth grumbles and says, knowing Jaymir might be right, "Right, let's go."

Suddenly, they heard a whining moan throughout the cavern. The whining moan formed into a whining No, as if someone was crying out. The whine was high-pitched, yet creepy. Jaymir and O'garth looked down the path of the cavern with their eyes wide and concerned expressions on their faces. O'garth's grip on his weapon tightened, and he stepped back, yet Jaymir's expression turned into a stern look, and he gulped, shallowing his fear and took a step forward. As Jaymir stepped forward, O'garth saw this, and he shook his head and followed right behind Jaymir.

As they continued down the path in the cavern, their sweat dripped from their brows, their hearts pounded in their chests, and the air's chill licked their skin, causing them to shiver even more. Step after step, they continued down, hearing their footsteps and hearing the water dripping, getting louder and louder, and the more they continued down the cavern path, the moaning got closer and closer, yet it started to sound like crying.
