Jaymir wrapped Felix up in his poncho, realizing his robes were torn and couldn't be repaired. Felix huddled up against Jaymir's poncho and took a deep breath as he started to tell Jaymir and O'garth how this situation all started.
The day started like any other, Felix and Emily preparing their day with Emily getting fed and Felix also getting something to eat, which was his breakfast, which was fruit, bread, and cheese, a simple meal for a Kobold, like himself. He was outside a town, which he didn't go to as he didn't have enough coins to stay in a tavern, but it didn't bother him as he was prepared for this type of outcome. The town didn't seem to mind, also, or at least the guards didn't; they let it happen as he wasn't bothering anyone, or that is what Felix thought.
Yet how could he think he was bugging anyone, all he was doing was sleeping in his wagon with his Talient, Emily and selling potions to anyone that passed by going in or out of the town, Felix has even told the guards he was there for business, yet somehow, he seemed to brother three elves.
At first, they were kind and nice to Felix. Yet, he didn't see the signs, the signs that they sneaked dirty looks and kept a watchful eye on his things.
It was just a normal day, Emily resting nearby Felix's wagon, yet Felix was announcing in excitement,
"Potions, come get your potions!"
"Need Elixirs? I got a bunch!"
"Come one, come all, and get your potions for your journeys, don't go out in the world without something to protect you!"
"I guarantee cheap prices; you can trust me! I can even make something if you need it!"
Felix watched as people passed by in and out of town, some people stopped by his wagon, while others told him they didn't have enough to purchase his wares.
A small crowd gathered by his wagon as some were looking at his wares, while others brought some of his wares. The people gathered by his wagon like buzzing insects, which got the attention of three elves who were traveling with each other. One elf had long blond hair, he wore robes and walked with a quarterstaff, and he had a spell book on his side. Another elf had leather armor on and daggers on his hips; this elf had long hair that he had in a ponytail, yet also had braided tails on the side, and the last elf had black short hair and a goatee. He wore mail armor and carried a two-handed spear. They all were pale, and they slowly passed by Felix's wagon, yet staring at it as if it was a piece of meat, waiting to be cooked.
The elf that looked like a rogue mumbled, "Look, guys, that is a pretty good-looking crowd."
While another elf that looked like a warrior quietly mumbled, "It looks like a wagon filled with potions, yet what is that thing giving those people, potions?"
The elf that looked like a wizard mumbled in disgust, "Gah, I don't know, but it is not normal."
As they closed in Felix's wagon, Felix called out, "Gentlemen, Gentlemen, hold on a second! Come closer and check out my potions!" The elves' glance at Felix, yet the Wizard elf stated, "Potions, huh? Who did you study with?" Felix pats his spell book that was by him as he says, "I learned everything from this."
The Wizard elf's eyes widen as he says in shock, "Wait, you learned everything in a book, you don't have a master or a teacher?" Felix shook his head, "No, I don't." The rogue-looking elf looked through Felix's wares and stated, "Man, you must be like super smart to make all these by yourself." Felix laughs heartily and states, "I don't know about super smart; it just took hard work to get everything right."
The wizard looked at the rest of the other elves as he asked, "Can you make potions also?" Felix nods, yet states, "Yeah, I can, but if I don't have the material, I have to charge you all highly." The wizard elf nodded in understanding and lied through his teeth, "Well, you see, we need a potion that destroys poison from a plant-like monster. We had to bury two of our friends because we didn't have this potion."
Felix looked concerned as he said, "Oh, I see, well, I might be able to make an anti-poison elixir for you all, but I need seaweed and ivory from the Ivoryback Caverns." The wizard elf looks at the other elves as they nodded in agreement as he states, "we can help you get there; we can even pay full price when your get your material." Felix gets excited as he nods, and he says, "Sounds like a plan then," and he starts to pack up his wagon for the journey.
