Malerin and Greemo rode out the day, trying to get to the Ivoryback Caverns, as Emily escorted them to the Cavern. They rode through the forests, using Jaymir's lanterns that had Laverion Repellent in them, yet the anxiety of the Laverions being close, caused them to sweat and their hearts to beat faster, there was even a time that Greemo even asked, Malerin, "If it wasn't too late to turn back." which Malerin glared at him in anger basically telling him, "yes it was too late." when they got to the archway that welcomed people into the coral-like beach, they saw Felix's camp was sabotaged and the cavern was caved in.
Though the cavern was blocked and the campsite of Felix had signs of being messed with, the other wagon that Jaymir and O'garth had was not there, yet all of their supplies were. Greemo spotted his tools and only part of his gunpowder, but the signs of someone setting a line of gunpowder to another keg, which had signs of being used. Malerin called out Jaymir and O'garth's names to see if they were alright.
Malerin's voice echoed through the cave. Felix, Jaymir, and O'garth quickly rose in shock, however, Jaymir and O'garth rushed to the block entrance. Jaymir yelled at the blocked entrance, "Malerin, what are you doing! Why are you here?" Concern for her safety. Greemo answers, "we are here to rescue your sorry ass! What the hell happened here and where are my supplies, you jerks!" O'garth answered him, "Oh, shut it, your supplies are the less of our worries!" Jaymir then added, "Instead of whining about your supplies, figure a way to get us out!"
Greemo signed in frustration, adding, "Fine, but you might want to get back!" he then waves Malerin to get a safe distance while he puts half of the keg of gunpowder to the blockage of the cavern as he adds, "Are you guys in a safe distance?" O'garth and Jaymir get back far enough while answering, "Yeah!" Greemo then lights the keg and runs for his life, causing a huge explosion, blasting the stones that were blocking the entrance of the cavern.
Malerin, Greemo, Jaymir, O'garth, and even Felix cowered and covered their eyes as the Blast cleared an opening. The first thing Malerin did when she saw Jaymir come out of the dust and smoke was that she ran towards him and jumped into his arms and hugged him.
"Geez, Jaymir, you know how to make a woman worry!" she said with a broken voice and tears in her eyes. Jaymir and O'garth scanned the area and saw they half of their things were gone as O'garth snapped out, "those bastards stole our stuff!" Jaymir added, "It doesn't matter." he then looked at Malerin with a gentle, but concerned expression as he added, "I am sorry for making you worry, but please come help me with Felix, he is pretty bruised up."
Malerin nodded and followed Jaymir to where they had a campfire, where she saw Felix. At first, she was a bit intimidated by him until she saw all his cuts and bruises, and she walked towards him and helped Jaymir mend his wounds and helped him to the wagon. While Jaymir and Malerin helped Felix to the wagon, O'garth and Greemo loaded up the rest of the supplies that the three elves left behind. When everything was ready to go, they set out and headed back to Bumbleweed.
