Jaymir rose to his feet, grunting, rolling his shoulders, and rotating his neck. O'garth watches Jaymir with concern and wonders what he will do next but is ready. Jaymir stretched his arms left to right while looking around the cavern. Felix carefully watches Jaymir, while still in pain, he tightens up his face as he slightly moves, fighting off the sharp pains.
Jaymir continued to look around while standing in one place and stretching, scanning the cavern for any alternative exits. Yet all he saw was the walls and ceilings made with coral and seashells, while the ground was the white sands with rough spots and fern-like seaweed crawled from the ground up to the walls of the cavern. While the crater-like lake was nearby, it also didn't serve as an escape route, and the stalagmites and stalactites that formed pillars served as a foundation for the cavern.
The air was still moist and cold, while the smell of salt from the ocean and mildew still lingered. While the sound of dripping water splashed into the lake. Jaymir, Felix, and O'garth's lips were still damp from the mist that covered the area, and the lightning was really dim, but what was worse was that the night was creeping in, and the light was slowly disappearing, and the temperature was dropping.
Jaymi halted his stretching, forming a frown as he sighed with a slight hint of frustration. Felix tilts his head as he winches in pain, but asks, "What is wrong, Jaymir?" Jaymir replies, explaining his attitude, "Well, I was thinking there was another way out, but it doesn't look like it." Felix looks at Jaymir with confusion as he asks, "What is wrong with the way you came in?" O'garth quickly adds in, "I am pretty sure your capturers blocked it in with our explosive that one of our careless friends put in our wagon." Felix sighs in hopelessness as he replies, "That explains the loud explosion and rumbling earlier."
Despite Felix and O'garth questioning the situation, Jaymir continued to keep the faith, hoping he would find a way, stating, "Alright, you two, none of that, we are not dying down here, not if I can help it."
Suddenly, Felix realized that if the entrance was closed off and Jaymir and this dwarf were in here with him, where was Emily, his Taliant? Felix, with a concerned look on his face, asked with urgency, "Um, how did you get here, Jaymir?" Jaymir didn't hear him as he was a little further away, searching for plants, rocks, and even some branches, preparing for the next plan of action. However, O'garth answered the question as he explained, "Your Taliant brought us, but I am sure she bolted off back to Bumbleweed again, as Jaymir told her if anything happened to run for her life."
Jaymir walked back to O'garth and Felix, "Well, I didn't find an exit, but I did find some material to help us keep warm!" he announced with a smile and a hint of excitement. Felix's eyes widen in shock at Jaymir's resourcefulness, while O'garth cracks a giggling smirk as he asks in awe, "I forgot, this is right up your league, isn't it, Jaymir?" Jaymir smiles and nods as he starts making a campfire, where the ground is dry and away from any dripping of water that forms in the cavern.
While Jaymir worked on the campfire and tried to light it, O'garth looked around and in the lake of the cavern, where he spotted some fish, and also told him there was a way out, but it was underwater. However, with Felix in the condition he was in, there was no way they were swimming their way out, but O'garth turned to Jaymir and stated, "Well, we have a food source, Jaymir, there are fish in this lake." Jaymir nods as he says, "Well, that is some good news, however..." he halts what he was saying as he glances at Felix, and he asks, "Are you okay with Fish, Felix?" Felix nods, yet says, "I hardly eat meat, but if it means keeping me from being hungry, I'll eat it." Jaymir gently nods and smiles as he adds, "Good, good." Then he continues to light a fire, which he succeeds in doing.
