While Jaymir, Felix, and O'garth were trapped within the Ivoryback Cavern, Emily arrived back at Bumbleweed. She charged straight at the tree of Bumbleweed again, looking around for anyone she knew. The first person she saw was Malerin, and Malerin spotted her. Emily squawked loudly, causing her cry to echo throughout the town, also getting Greemo's attention.
Emily flapped her wings and squawked wildly, yet again, as if she was trying to tell Malerin what happened, yet Malerin didn't understand. Greemo strolled down the road, thinking he would see Jaymir and O'garth with a wagon of material, yet as he continued down the road of Bumbleweed, all he saw was Emily. His eyes widen in disgust and shock with his arms up as if he were in disbelief, as he announces, "What the hell is this? Where is my stuff? Where are my materials!" he continued down the road, marching and digging his heels in the dirt with attitude.
Suddenly, his attitude shifts as Malerin snaps, "Your material! Forget your material! Where is Jaymir and O'garth?" Emily puts her head on Malerin's back and pushes her towards the gate, but Malerin stops her and tries to calm her down, "Whoa! Whoa, Emily, did something happen?" Emily Squawk tries to push her to the gate again. Greemo looks at Emily with his brow raised as he asks, "Where are those fools? Where are my materials, my tools!" Emily rushes towards Greemo and starts to push him also to the gates. Yet Greemo snaps, "Yo, stop pushing!" However, Malerin snaps at Greemo, "Are you really that stupid? She is trying to tell you they are in trouble!"
Greemo looks at Malerin, then back at Emily with a confused, concerned look as he states, "Okay? What am I supposed to do about it?" Malerin looks in shock and shakes her head, "Can you stop thinking about yourself for once? You greedy fool!" Greemo looks at her with disgust, "greedy? Those tools and materials are important, they are expensive!" Malerin snaps at him once again, "If they are so important to you, let's go get them back!" Greemo shakes his head as he declines, "I don't have the time or resources to go on an adventure like those fools." Malerin puts his hands on her hips as she tilts her hips, she states, "So you are a coward!"
Greemo's expression turns into shock as he states, "I am not a coward!" Malerin then crosses her arms, shifting her weight, causing her hips to shift and tilting her head, while leaning forward as she demands, "prove it!" Greemo nods in anger as he snaps, "You want me to prove it? Fine, I will go, but if we die, you owe me an apology!" Malerin smirks as she knew she got to him and won the argument. Greemo points at Emily and demands, "get that damn bird ready I am getting my things, meet me at my shop!"
As Malerin prepared Emily and hooking her up to another wagon, Greemo Marched down the road and back to his shop, where he gathers more tools, kegs of gunpowder and even pulled out a gadget that looked like a one-shot boom stick, yet he gently laid his hand on it as if he was saying goodbye to it. Finally, he grabs the gadget and puts it in a holster that was on his chest.
As Greemo finalizes the gathering of his materials and things, Malerin and Emily ride up to his shop, allowing Greemo to load his things into the wagon. Malerin looks at the gadget on his chest that was in its holster, tilting her head and questioning it, "What is that, Greemo?" Greemo replies, "A last resort." Malerin looks in confusion, yet adds, "Okay?" She then continued to ask, "Are you ready to go?" Greemo replies, "No, but I don't have a choice, do I?" Malerin smirks as he adds, "No, you don't." Greemo rolls his eyes as he adds, "figures." as they ride out of town towards the Ivoryback Caverns.
