Jin was disorientated as if teleporting to another world..but he was not sure whether he had really teleported or not.
He looked around; it was a dark room with occasional tiny sparkles like stars; it seemed as if he was in space.
In front of him, he saw a screen displaying
[Challanger Jin you have been chosen to participate in {trial of void}]
He waited, and the screen faded into nothingness after a few moments.
Then on another screen, something else was visible it said
[Would you like to know about how things work?]
[Yes]. [No]
After waiting for a bit, Jin click on the [yes].
After that, instantly, some memories were injected into his brain. He felt dizzy and felt that he was going to puke, but he held it and then he understood what was going on.
He was really panicking because, since he was chosen by the trial, now he had to compete with other challengers who may or may not be human. Humans thought that there were no other species outside of Earth, but the memories he got proved it wrong.
There may be other humans, but mostly there would be aliens. And since he was the first one to be chosen by the trial -or so the memories he got said- the setting would be Earth all. The creatures would be able to morph into humans, blending in with regular people, and they had to eliminate all other challengers or unite together with the other challenger.
There were two ways to win: The first was to unite all the participants together, then the power would be shared among creatures, or they would have to kill each other. If one was killed, they would only be about to complete the trial by killing all of the other participants. It was either going to be peaceful or it was going to be a bloody battle.
After picking himself off the ground due to all the memories inserted in his brain, then he looked at the screen in front of his face, and it showed
[1/5 challangers selected].
He didn't have much hope of finding another human after knowing of the chances that creatures from all over the universe were able to participate.
He was waiting there patiently, when the void started to warp, forming a high-tech waiting area, which he was amazed by seeing, but he went ahead and sat on a seat and was deep in thought
After waiting for some more time, the screen floating in front of him beeped, it said
[New challanger found. 2/5 selected]
Jin was curious to see what kind of monster would an alien be. After waiting for a bit, a large, grotesque monastery which was blue in color, like a slime appears, after some time, the slime warped itself to look like the creature in front of it.
After waiting awkwardly, the slime asked..what creature you are?
Jin was very happy that he would actually be able to communicate. Even though he didn't know the language, he was able to understand due to the screen translating whatever the slime said.
Jin said that he was a human and he was from the planet Earth.
The slime was now looking at Jin, he said
Oh, it's a foreign species; normally, it's only creatures from our solar system which was chosen to participate in the trials.
Before they could speak anymore, three more challenges were chosen
One was a human, which made Jin very happy, he felt that he wouldn't be in it alone.
The second was a huge rhino-like creature it looked fearsomely powerful.
The last one was a mantis-like creature that looked nimble and quick.
Before they could talk anymore, another message had appeared and the trial started.
The space warped again; now the waiting area was gone, now a blinding light came, and Jin couldn't see anything.
He saw on the screen which remained unaffected
