"Heads or tails, which is it, Mia?"
"Tony!"
"I'm curious," he smiled.
"Would you rather save the girl you've known for years or the guy you recently started banging?" he asked.
"Tony, please don't do this," I said, I couldn't lose either of them.
The gun was out of reach, but I still had the knife I'd hidden in my boots. Tony wasn't holding a weapon, Sam was. Getting out of the situation was one thing, getting out of the building was another. The building was swarming with agents, I wasn't sure we could make it out alive. The moment I stepped out of the building, I would not only be a traitor but also Tony's enemy.
"Damon or Tamara. Choose," he said.
I glanced at the window. There was my escape.
My eyes met Tara's and I blinked slowly.

Tara and I had come up with several code signals, but there wasn't exactly one that defined the situation we were in. Still, I was hopeful. All, I needed was to pass the message across.
"Choose!" Tony yelled.
