SHADE DODGE, Shade jumped into the shadows, he watched it phase into the ground just where they were at. Shade tried to run faster but he was running low on stamina.
It chased them again and in less than a second it was already upon them, Shade tried to jump into the shadows again but the shadow below him just wobbled.
He nolonger had anough essence to jump through shadows, especially not while carrying him. He knew he was not fast enough to outrun it so he decided to fight.
He pulled two daggers and jumped. He swung his dagger with a shout expecting it to dodge but it did not. He watched as his blade approach his foe about to taste it flesh or whatever it has.
The blade landed without interference, he watched it sink into the creatures flame like body, he was about to celebrate when his blade passed through it like it was wind.
Before he could comprehend what happened it hit him in the chest like a speeding bullet, he grimaced expecting pain but none came, the creature had disappeared.
Just as he was about sigh with relief a large BOOOOM, echoed in his heard and the next thing he knew he was floating in a vast dark space with rivers of etherial blood red energy like blood essence.
He looked around confused when he felt a familiar gaze behind him. He turned around with panic and there it was, the creature was here with him but it was different.
Unlike it former self it had a huge mouth with razor sharp fangs like swords, however it most obvious difference was it size, it was huge.
He heard from Anitta that stars were as large if not larger than the sun but he thinks this thing is most likely even larger than them, fear overcame his body.
The creature approached him with it huge maw opened like a gate to hell,it towering body so heavy it gravity bent the space around it drawing him close to it.
He wanted to scream but no sound came out, he tried to move, to get away from it but it was futile, the force drawing him in was too powerful.
Realising that he couldn't run he, did something most would consider foolish,he jumped right into it mouth however this did save his life.
It closed it mouth with band but it had miscalculated, to be more specific it had not expected him to jump straight to if mouth causing it teeth to miss him.
However he was not out of the woods yet, inside it body a countless number of tiny tentacles with teeth rose and latched to him, every second they bit and ripped his body apart.
He watched his flesh being consumed and his fear rose to level he had never felt before, watching yourself being eaten alive can drive a man crazy and that what happened to him.
His fear clouded his mind with no other thoughts than to survive, bound tightly by the tentacles he couldn't move freely but he did not need to.
If it was going to eat him then he would eat it. He opened his mouth as wide as he could and bit the tentacle binding his right arm freeing it in the process.
It was tasteless, he felt like he was eating solidified air, it went to his stomach and disappeared. He did not mind any of that, with his right arm free he ripped another tentacle and ate it.
It was now a competition of who can eat the other faster, one would expect the huge creature with many mouth to win but that was not the case.
Unlike him the creature was abundant, anytime he opened and closed his mouth he bit something and unlike him, the mouth on it tentacles were small and barely chipped his skin.
He ate like a starving beast, unbeknownst to him,the more he ate, the bigger he became, the battle of gourmet continued, he could not even tell how much time had passed.
The creature realising it was on the losing end dismissed it tentacles but he did not stop. What came after were much larger tentacles with much larger mouths.
They latched into into him ripping his skin and flesh apart, the pain jolted him back to reality. He tried to scream but his throat had been ripped out and strangely he didn't feel the need to breath nor was he dead.
The situation was getting dire, he grabbed and ripped the tentacles but they just regenerated, he bit and chewed but his foe appeared endless, no matter how much he ate there seemed to be more.
He tried to move his blood essence and felt something move, the movement was slight and it was not inside his body. He panicked, what going on?
He tried again, he could sense and he can tell he can move it. He tried one more time and looked outside the creatures body and saw a part of the red river move.
It was barely a vibration but that where he felt his connection with his blood essence. That revelation shook him to the core, what did that mean?
He wasn't knowledgeable enough to draw any conclusions but if his suspicions were correct then they were in his veins as that where he assumed blood essence resides.
Wouldn't that mean he was Inside his body? But how can that be possible, how can one enter their own body. Unless, he is in his soul form.
That terrified him, even he knew healing a soul was incredibly hard and if a soul died then it was over, one wouldn't even reincarnate, atleast that what legends said and he had no intentions to verify their validity.
He panicked, he can't let himself be consumed, he searched for something, anything, a weakness of this thing and saw it. In it centres was a core.
It shined like a blue gem, he knew that was what he should destroy to kill it but it would he hard. The body was denser closer to the core which would make consuming it harder let alone moving and there were extremely large tentacles protecting it.
He would be consumed immediately if he tried to fight those tentacles with his hands. So he ate his way to the side instead, he had to try something.Tentacle after tentacle tried to stop him but he ripped and bit through all of them, just as he was about to get out he felt something grab his leg.
