Episode 18: Stormborn

The war horns cried like wounded beasts.
Evelyn stood atop the black tower, her cloak whipping behind her in the rising wind.
Below, Seraphina's forces spilled over the hills — an army of shadows, beasts, and fire-twisted men.
But Evelyn didn't flinch.
She raised her hands. The clouds obeyed.
Thunder cracked.
Lightning danced on her skin like a lover.

Lucien joined her, armored in obsidian.
He looked at her with awe — not fear.
"You're glowing," he said.
"I'm done hiding," she replied.
He offered his hand.
She took it.
Together, they stepped forward.

The battlefield was chaos.
Seraphina's army charged with screams and swords.
Evelyn walked calmly toward the center.
Soldiers surrounded her.
She closed her eyes.
Then exploded into stormlight.
Wind howled. Lightning struck from the sky, following her heartbeat.
Every strike carved through armor, through lies.
Lucien fought beside her, a blade of darkness — fast, precise, deadly.
But Evelyn…
She was the tempest.

From her blackened tower, Seraphina watched — lips tight.
"She's awakening too fast," the Queen hissed. "She wasn't meant to survive this long."
Beside her, a masked priest bowed low.
"We can summon the Bone Wolf."
"Do it," Seraphina said. "I want her shattered."

Back on the field, the sky tore open.
The sun vanished.
And from the rift above… something huge fell to the earth with a roar.
It landed between Evelyn and Lucien, shaking the valley.
The Bone Wolf.
White fur stained red. Eyes like frozen moons. Bones forming wings.
It opened its mouth — and spoke.
"Daughter of Storm. Come meet your death."
Evelyn stepped forward, blood running down her cheek.
She grinned.
"I've died before. Didn't work."
