Lightning danced across the sky.
Waves crashed violently below as Akash hovered mid-air, body glowing with electrical energy, eyes focused on the two titans before him:
The Golden Eagle, wingspan over 30 meters, each flap shaking the clouds, its golden feathers shimmering like celestial blades.
The Spiky Tortoise, 20 meters long, a living fortress rising from the sea, each step causing underwater tremors.
> My lightning barely scratches the tortoise. The eagle… it's even worse. It's fast, smart, and deadly.
But Akash didn't waver. The hope of hundreds rested on his shoulders.
He clenched his fists. Lightning arced from his forearms to the sky.
> "Let's test your limits."

First Target: The Golden Eagle
The eagle screamed—a piercing screech that sent sonic shockwaves across the ocean. A direct blast aimed at Akash.
He spun, using lightning to amplify his speed, dodging mid-air and countering with a thunderbolt straight to the eagle's right eye.
BOOM!
Feathers burned. The eagle reeled—but recovered mid-flight and retaliated.
Its wings flared—razor feathers launched like missiles.
Akash formed a rotating lightning shield, deflecting most, but one sliced through his shoulder. Blood spilled—but he didn't flinch.
> "You're not the only one who can fly."
He zipped forward, grabbing the eagle by its neck, electrocuting it with a voltage storm while flying upwards into thinner air.
The eagle shrieked in pain—but before Akash could finish it, the tortoise roared and launched a spike missile from its back—so fast it tore the clouds apart.
Akash released the eagle, dodged mid-air, and the spike exploded on impact, creating a mini shockwave crater in the sky.

Switching Targets: The Spiky Tortoise
Akash flew downward, fast and hard, aiming for the monster's eye.
But the tortoise had already submerged part of itself, using water pressure and its thick shell to block attacks.
> "Too durable… I need more force."
He raised both hands.
Lightning stormed from the clouds above, forming a gigantic dragon-shaped arc of electricity. The ocean sizzled as steam rose.
> "Thunder Dragon Strike!"
He hurled it.
CRASHHHHH!
The dragon crashed into the tortoise's back—blowing a massive crater on the shell, causing the sea to split around it.
The tortoise howled, bleeding, thrashing.
But—
The eagle returned.
Furious. Eyes glowing. It opened its beak and fired a compressed sonic beam, aiming to disintegrate Akash mid-air.
Akash's body strained—blood from the ears, cracked bones, blurred vision.
He fell toward the ocean—but caught himself mid-air as my body slowly healing itself.
> I can't stop now. If I fall… everyone dies.

Last Stand: Akash Unleashes
> "I didn't want to use this."
He raised his hand to the sky.
Storm clouds thickened, thunder rumbling like drums of war.
His body began glowing—veins surging with lightning energy as he activated his newly made technique: Lightning Mode – Surge State.
Time slowed.
He dashed—one moment above the eagle, next beneath the tortoise, moving faster than sound.
With one massive surge, he flew above the clouds, dragging lightning along his body—
Then dove like a comet straight into the tortoise's already cracked shell.
BOOOOOOM!
A column of light exploded from the sea. The entire ocean trembled.
The tortoise gave one last groan… then went still.
Akash hovered, panting heavily—skin bruised, sparks flickering.
> "One down…"
But he didn't even get a second.
The eagle screamed again—enraged.
> Now it's serious…
