I awoke after the sunset before Paige, once again. So I started her coffee, and ran her a bath. I got a text from David that Nicole was ready, which wasimpressive to be able to control the thirst so quickly. Some of our kind spend years trying to control the thirst while others can control it within days.
"Paige will be happy to hear it. Should we reunite them tonight?" I replied.
"Take them to the spot?" David texted.
"Meet you there in two hours," I responded. I knew seeing her best friend again would make her happy, and that is all I want for her. I went back into the bedroom and kissed her cheeks until she woke up giggling.
"Ready for coffee?" I asked, gesturing towards the cup I set on the nightstand.
"Yesssss," she said dramatically as I handed her the cup. She sipped the coffee and moaned, shutting her eyes. I realized she did this every morning after the first sip of coffee. She is adorable, and I can't wait to surprise her again.
"I have bedhead and morning breath, yet you are staring at me like you're ready for round two," she said sweetly.
I giggled. "Not yet, I have another surprise for you. Go finish your coffee in the tub and get dressed, you won't want to miss this one," I said playfully.
"Do I have to dress up?" she asked sweetly.
"No ma'am, just casual, and maybe a coat," I said.
"Sweet!" she said with excitement while heading to the bathroom.
