Louis frowned as he looked at the bow of a strange flying ship, a familiar yet unfamiliar face.
Suddenly, he sighed. "So even by cutting family ties, I can't escape my family," he said as he approached.
After leaving his residence, he decided to flee the place on his own, so he exchanged a System Coin for Jens, the currency of humans outside the Ancestral Lands, and rented a long-distance flying device.
Since he had rented it from a large company that claimed to operate worldwide, he thought he could avoid his family's influence and thus avoid being monitored, but even that proved to be a mistake.
The man beside him, Mr. Jack, who had helped him awaken, smiled kindly at him.
"Haha, I was only sent to monitor you as you leave the Lands of God, Young Master. I will monitor you until you reach your destination," replied Mr. Jack.
Louis shrugged. "But the destination seems to have changed. So the ship did too. It was a world-renowned company with alliances with other powerful Clans, but it seems like child's play to the family."
"Hahaha, to our Gods, the mundane will always be mundane. That's why your class, Young Master, was considered trash." He laughed.
"Money? We don't need money when we reign everywhere. The family's companies and businesses are not limited to this world; there are still many worlds out there where we have total influence. What can a God of Money bring us, besides shame and misery?"
Louis smiled. "Do you also think my class is useless? Do you also think it only brings shame to the family? Or are those the thoughts of the Gods imparted to you? You who have seen many people awaken, what do you think will happen to me and this class in the future?"
Mr. Jack looked at him intently for a few long minutes before sighing and looking away again.
"I think the family will regret their decision. The God London... I'm afraid he won't have a good time," he replied sincerely, according to his thoughts.
Louis was surprised by that answer; it wasn't something he expected to hear from him. But in the end, he smiled and patted him on the shoulder.
"Despite your name, you're a really good guy, Mr. Jack," he said, smiling and turning away.
Mr. Jack turned to watch him leave. "Do you think my name is bad, young master?"
Louis laughed a little. "Yes, it's bad. Terrible, possibly the worst name I've ever heard."
"That... That bad?" He even choked.
Louis just smiled and went back to resting, unbothered by anything else. The flying ship, or whatever it was, had already taken off, and considering how huge this world was, it would take quite a while to reach their destination.
-
And so, several days passed.
During this time, Mr. Jack took the liberty of teaching Louis things that he would need.
For example, he mentioned how this world was structured beneath the Lands of God.
It is a vast world divided into four large regions, corresponding to the four cardinal points of the world: North, South, East, and West. Each region has its circumstances typical of a beautiful fantasy world, with different clans, families, and powerful organizations.
For example, in the North, it never stops snowing, and the entire region has had to learn to live under constant snowfall. That is why it is the least populated region, as snow falls throughout the year in almost the entire northern region.
This place is beautiful for lovers of white landscapes, but it is a challenge for businesses, as it is, strangely enough, a place rich in resources that cannot be fully exploited due to the persistent snowfall.
The South is also peculiar. It is said that there are a large number of volcanoes there, and incidents like volcanic eruptions and the destruction of entire cities have even occurred, as these cities were built on top of volcanoes that were not visible.
The latter region is the second least populated, precisely for this reason. Still, like the Northern region, it has numerous resources that make it impossible not to try to exploit them, which is why large companies invest in the region, despite its hazardous nature.
In addition, the Southern Region is home to the largest society of magicians in the world, the prestigious Royal Society of Magicians, where great and powerful magicians from all over the globe gather.
The Eastern and Western Regions are home to the largest number of people in the world, as they are among the most peaceful and naturally beautiful regions. However, despite this, they also face their own unique challenges.
At the center of this world is a place called the Unexplored Pit. It is a real pit as large as a region, and inside there are all kinds of unknown situations, dungeons, ancient ruins, and who knows what else.
Although Mr. Jack knew what that place was, he never told Louis, even though he tried to get as much information as he could.
In the end, he had to give up and simply enjoy the beautiful scenery of the trees and distant mountains as he approached his destination: the Empire of the Red Sun, also known as the Empire of the West, in the westernmost part of the Western Region.
As he gazed at this beautiful landscape, Mr. Jack came up beside him.
"We'll be there in two days. Young sir, I must warn you of something, as a friend."
Louis turned to look at him, indicating that he could speak.
"Although you are currently in a vulnerable state, you must be cautious of everything around you. However, you should be aware of three things in the Lower World that you must be wary of."
"Organizations?"
"Yes." He nodded.
"The Royal Society is the first. They call themselves diplomats of magic, a neutral organization, but that's just a front for everything they do. As one of the organizations that has Gods, their fingers are everywhere. Although joining would be good for you, I heard that your Destined Path is that of an Armamentalist, so they will hate you to death."
Louis nodded. 'Mages will always oppose firearms... It's the same in the fantasy world and here.'
"What are the others? They're in the West, right?"
"That's right, Young Master. One of them is the Hallway Family. You'll hear about them sooner or later, but remember my words when I tell you to be careful of them. The other organization is a religion, the Asoist Church."
Louis looked at him for a moment. 'A church?' he thought.
He had never heard of that before, but if Mr. Jack said so, there was surely something in the church that he should be careful about.
So he nodded after thinking about it for a moment.
"I'll keep that in mind."
Mr. Jack then smiled. "Good. Then we'll continue with the journey. I've been entrusted with taking you to the Family Branch of the Western Empire. Do you have anything you'd like to ask for?"
Louis shook his head. "Nothing. Anyway, it's not like you can avoid doing what you've been tasked with."
"Haha, I'm glad the Young Master understands. I'll let you know when we arrive."
Thus, the journey resumed, and two days later, a flying ship landed in one of the regions of the Western Empire without alerting anyone. It was as if all the kingdom's defenses had been disabled and everyone was looking the other way.
No one noticed its arrival, nor did anyone notice its departure, except for a few.
Three were the only ones who saw this ship arrive and depart, although there may have been some curious eyes watching from a distance.
The three people who saw it frowned when they saw the only young man who remained.
