[12:00 PM]
You and Granny Yukina arrive at the Elder's residence.
To your surprise, Granny Yukina doesn't even bother knocking—she pushes open the main gate and walks right in, completely ignoring the guards. Even more shocking, none of them try to stop her.
The Elder greets you both with a gentle smile and gestures for you to sit down and join him for lunch.
You give a polite self-introduction and were about to mention your prophetic dream—but the Elder holds up a hand to stop you. He signals for you to wait until after the meal.
Clearly, Granny Yukina holds a far higher status within the Uchiha clan than you'd imagined.
...
[1:00 PM]
With Granny Yukina's help filling in some gaps, you recount your dream to the Elder. You describe unlocking your Sharingan, witnessing Uchiha Itachi's massacre of the clan, and the death of Uchiha Shisui.
When you finish, the Elder furrows his brow and lets out a long, heavy sigh.
...
[2:00 PM]
Without a word, the Elder retrieves a bottle of sake from the inner room. He sits at the table, silently drinking cup after cup until he's thoroughly drunk.
Granny Yukina notices your growing discomfort and tells you to head outside and practice your swordsmanship.
The moment you step outside, a loud smack rings out from behind you—clearly a slap. You don't dare linger and all but flee to the courtyard, swinging your sword through the air to calm your nerves.
...
[3:00 PM]
A guard rushes out from inside the Elder's home, then returns with two middle-aged men and a young shinobi.
Not long after, Granny Yukina calls you back inside.
...
[4:00 PM]
You learn that the three men are all elite jōnin of the Uchiha clan—and sons of the Elder. Once again, you recount your prophetic dream in full detail.
Immediately, the room erupts into a heated argument.
Fortunately, the Elder's authority is enough to quell the chaos. He slowly and methodically walks each of them through your logic and reasoning, dismantling their panic one point at a time.
...
[5:00 PM]
Granny Yukina speaks up, recommending that the clan nurture your exceptional talent. She believes you might be the hope that the Uchiha desperately need.
You take the initiative and activate your Sharingan.
Your revelation shocks the Elder and his sons—unlocking the Sharingan at only three years old is practically unheard of.
But after the initial shock, the Elder shakes his head. He sternly warns you to avoid using the Sharingan unless absolutely necessary until you turn five.
He explains that throughout Uchiha history, there have been other child prodigies like you—but all of them met tragic ends. Some suffered from bloodline-related illnesses; others descended into madness and bloodlust. Even the few who seemed normal had dangerously low chakra reserves. A couple who managed to remain sane were assassinated before reaching adulthood.
You agree to his terms and mention that you've been diligently training in taijutsu to avoid overreliance on your eyes.
...
[6:00 PM]
Granny Yukina takes her leave, entrusting your care to the Elder.
The Elder gathers his sons and assigns each of them a specific task in preparation for what may come.
Under the Elder's supervision, you continue your sword training.
...
[7:00 PM]
The night of the massacre hasn't arrived—at least, not yet.
You continue your training, while the Elder snacks on sunflower seeds, occasionally giving you pointers between crunches.
...
[8:00 PM]
You hear shouting and the clash of weapons from the edge of the Uchiha compound.
Moments later, the Elder's three sons return, joined by the Second and Third Elders, along with a large contingent of the clan's security forces.
Behind them lie piles of masked corpses—Leaf shinobi. Among them, three bodies have had their masks torn off, their tongues pulled out. Each tongue is engraved with the "Tongue-Curse Seal of Root."
Furious, the Third Elder immediately proposes launching a surprise attack on the Hokage Tower to assassinate Hiruzen Sarutobi. Many of the Uchiha's hawkish members voice their support.
But before things escalate further, a black-clad shinobi—clutching a severed arm—appears beside the Elder. After a silent exchange of glances, the Elder sighs in resignation and orders the Root corpses to be incinerated with Fire Style.
...
[9:00 PM]
As you watch the bodies burn in the courtyard, a strange desire stirs inside you—the urge to join the fray. Your Sharingan activates reflexively, but you quickly remember the Elder's warning and suppress the impulse.
...
[10:00 PM]
You finish your training and head to the room the Elder prepared for you.
On the way through the courtyard, you spot the Elder deep in conversation with the black-clad shinobi. The man calls you over.
Only now do you notice the full extent of his injuries—not just a severed arm, but a right eye clouded over with blindness. He must've faced a terrifying opponent. Could it have been Obito? Or maybe Itachi?
Regardless, anyone who survived a clash with either of them must be incredibly powerful. You realize that somewhere in the Uchiha clan, a Kage-level shinobi has been hiding in plain sight.
He introduces himself as Uchiha Setsuna.
The name triggers a memory from a past simulation—when you and Granny Yukina were desperate, you once sought this man out for help.
Setsuna asks you a few questions about Uchiha Fugaku. In response, you reveal something you saw in one of your dreams: Fugaku's Sharingan wasn't the usual three tomoe—it looked like a Mangekyō.
Setsuna nods, raises his teacup, and drinks it in one gulp. Then he leaps onto the rooftop and vanishes into the night.
The Elder silently leads you back to your room.

Uchiha Kirin rubs his eyes and deactivates his Sharingan. Based on the Elder's words in the simulation, early awakening might look like genius—but it's really a curse in disguise.
He resolves from this moment forward: unless absolutely necessary, he won't activate the Sharingan in real life.
...
[The Next Day]
You wake up as usual and begin sword practice.
That's when the Elder informs you that Uchiha Fugaku has suffered severe injuries.
Setsuna reappears the moment the Elder finishes speaking. This time, his abdomen is wrapped in thick bandages, blood already soaking through the outermost layer. Even you can sense how weak he is now—but despite the pain, a smile brightens his old face.
The Elder asks you to draw the shape of Fugaku's Sharingan as seen in your dream. You do.
Upon seeing your sketch, Setsuna laughs heartily and pulls out a small box from his sleeve. Inside is a pair of Mangekyō Sharingan—identical to the ones you saw.
The two quickly discuss their plan, then Setsuna, right in front of you, gouges out his own blind eye and replaces it with one of Fugaku's.
It should've been a grotesque sight, but you feel no revulsion. Both Setsuna and the Elder notice this and agree—you're a born shinobi.
Setsuna stores his removed eye in a small vial and tosses it to you as a keepsake before vanishing once more.
That afternoon, you stow the eye in your tool pouch and resume sword training. The Elder periodically hurls shuriken at you, forcing you to deflect or counter with your blade or the Manipulated Shuriken Technique.
Your combat instincts improve rapidly.
Suddenly, a deafening explosion shakes the ground—its origin, the Hokage Monument.
The tremor is so intense it feels like an earthquake.
The Elder freezes mid-throw. Tears stream down his face. Without a word, he seals your chakra, hides you in a food- and water-stocked bunker, and rushes off.
...
That Night
The Uchiha compound erupts in battle cries and screams.
Hiruzen Sarutobi and Danzo Shimura, ignoring political fallout, personally lead an all-out assault on the Uchiha!
At first, only Root and a few elite ANBU engage, but the clan—lacking Kage-level defenders—struggles to hold out. Even with the Elders fighting together, they're forced to retreat under Hiruzen's relentless attacks.
After the Elder falls in battle, the clan's defenses collapse. Nearby minor clans seize the opportunity and join the slaughter.
In a single night, the clan's protective barrier is shattered.
...
[The Third Day]
The Uchiha clan is nearly wiped out.
It's then that Uchiha Itachi appears—he wounds Hiruzen, fakes being defeated by Danzo, and flees into exile.
Root and ANBU withdraw, but Danzo deliberately lets the scavenger clans into the compound. They begin looting and burning everything in sight.
Blood seeps into the chamber where you're hiding.
You're on the verge of a breakdown—but your eyes won't activate anymore. The Elder's words echo in your mind: awakening too early comes with a price.
Swallowing your nausea, you eat and drink what you can, then rummage through the bunker.
You find a crate of explosive tags and a box of ninjutsu scrolls.
Forcing open your Sharingan, you memorize Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu.
Then Wind Style: Gale Palm.
The strain is too much. You black out.
...
[The Fourth Day]
You wake to the sound of footsteps and something being dragged.
You hold your breath.
The door is pried open. An ANBU steps inside.
You immediately attack. He dodges your shuriken. You activate your Sharingan, but realizing you can see him doesn't mean you can keep up.
He slashes your throat and kicks you into a wall.
You glance at the crate of explosive tags.
Forming hand seals, you try to cast Great Fireball. But your injuries are too severe—the fireball explodes inside you.
The blast ignites the tags.
You die in a blaze—but not alone. One Root ninja dies with you.

[The user tried to change fate with foreknowledge but ultimately failed to save the Uchiha—rated: Close Call]
Uchiha Kirin exhales deeply, steadying his nerves. Ironically, revealing the truth to the Elder led to an even worse outcome than the last simulation, when he accidentally stumbled into success.
Thankfully, this was only a simulation. There's still hope.
He looks at the rewards list.
[Rewards Ready!]
[Choose Two of the Following:]
『1』 +1 Simulation Attempt
『2』 Uchiha Swordsmanship Basics (includes insights and muscle memory)
『3』 500 Explosive Tags
"Five hundred tags… must've been from the Elder's basement. What a shame about this run."
Because he didn't earn a "life-or-death survival" rating, the techniques he learned and Setsuna's eye didn't carry over.
He selects options 1 and 2.
As warmth floods his body, strengthening his muscles, and sword techniques flash through his mind, Uchiha Kirin suddenly frowns.
"…Where's my Loot System? And what happened to Kazuki Uchiha—dead or alive?"
