That's when you spot Uchiha Kazuki leading a group of people, chasing after a dog.

You smash one of his white teeth with a riverstone you'd picked up earlier, and while he's still stunned, you jam the stone into his mouth to muffle his screams.
You block the alley exit and beat him with a bamboo pole every time he tries to crawl away.
Eventually, Uchiha Kazuki collapses, begging for mercy on his knees. You slit his throat with a kunai, bind his limbs, and leave him in the alley.
If he's lucky, someone might find him in time to save his life.

You go back to running laps around the compound. More Uchiha shinobi are returning from missions, but no one notices anything strange.

Running at noon is too suspicious. To avoid drawing attention, you grab a small stool and sit by the Naka River to fish.

You call out to them from across the river, but they don't respond, which only deepens your suspicion.
So you clumsily swim over, stomp over to the closest one, and loudly demand to know his name and why he's digging near the Uchiha compound.
The man grabs you by the collar and angrily tells you to buzz off. But your eyes are already on his briefcase.
Feigning fear, you silently retreat two steps—subtly inching closer to the case.
The man digging suddenly pauses. Pressing his index and middle fingers to his forehead, he activates a jutsu.
You feel a strange wave pass through your body. That confirms your suspicion: these men aren't ordinary—either from the Root or even Anbu.
Thankfully, you've already depleted your chakra in advance. Your physical appearance is that of a toddler, and the scan doesn't detect the adult-level Strength hiding within. Nor your true intent.

Once the digging is done, the man folds up his spade and claps his hands clean. He exchanges a glance with his two comrades, all of them now in position. Then he begins forming hand seals.
You suddenly lunge—moving with a Speed no toddler should possess—charging straight for the briefcase. You frantically try to extract even a sliver of chakra to help, and your eyes morph—black turning blood-red as a single tomoe spins into existence.
The ninja spots your movement but doesn't stop sealing. Some unknown force is binding all three of them together—they can't disengage mid-seal.
But shinobi aren't helpless. While his hands are occupied, his feet aren't. He lashes out with a chakra-empowered kick aimed to shatter your bones.
You respond instantly, hurling several shuriken toward his vital points. He doesn't even try to dodge—taking the hit directly.
At the same time, you use your Sharingan's dynamic vision and boosted reflexes to barrel forward, sacrificing your left side as his kick crushes your ribs, just so you can grab hold of the briefcase.
The moment your fingers latch onto the case, the sealing sequence completes.
But you don't give him the chance to react. With your kunai, you slice across your own throat—ending your life on the spot.
You are dead.

He pulled the case out of his dimensional storage and set it on his lap—only to find a thin film of chakra coating the surface.
"A seal, huh?"
Kirin looked slightly disappointed. He didn't dare open the briefcase in reality—not because he feared damaging its contents, but because it bore Root chakra. Who knew what kind of trap might be triggered?
"Guess I'll open it in the simulation instead."
