Looking over the panel before him, Uchiha Kirin nodded in satisfaction.

Unlocking the two-tomoe Sharingan had caused a sharp spike in his Spirit stat, significantly raised his chakra capacity, and even brought minor improvements to his other attributes.

Kirin flexed his arms and prodded his abs, feeling the firm, elastic muscle beneath his skin. A satisfied smile crept across his face.

No wonder. In the original story, once Sasuke awakened his Sharingan, his ninjutsu soared and even his taijutsu improved noticeably.

Turns out, the Sharingan doesn't just enhance ocular power, chakra control, and dynamic vision—it boosts a shinobi's entire physical constitution.

Just look at Obito. Before awakening the Mangekyō Sharingan, he was nothing more than a bottom-rung, average Genin. But after opening his eyes, he was strong enough to solo an elite Kirigakure squad and push both Kakashi and Rin to the brink!

Kirin took a deep breath, soaking in the rush of Strength now surging through him. Then, he took a closer look at the panel.

His Sharingan now included an "Evolution Progress" bar. Scratching his head, Kirin muttered,

"This probably means that the power contained in my current eyes is already stronger than the average two-tomoe stage… It's starting to evolve toward three tomoe."

"Maybe it's because of the extreme emotions I had when my Sharingan first awakened—that might've brought me closer to the next stage right from the start." Kirin's eyes gleamed with understanding.

He resolved that the next time he synchronized his Sharingan, he'd try to awaken it under extreme emotional duress or while heavily exhausted. That way, he might gain stronger ocular power at each stage…

And perhaps, with the right conditions, he could unlock the fearsome Mangekyō Sharingan even faster.

Even better—if he ended up with an unwanted Mangekyō ability, he could just reroll it!

"Keep the essence, discard the trash—that's the true way to use the simulator!" Kirin grinned.

"Hey, assistant, how strong am I right now?"

[Ding~ The Assistant is now evaluating your strength based on reliable ninja standards…]

[Ding~ Search complete.]

[Evaluation will use the average strength of each rank as a benchmark.]

[From weakest to strongest: Academy Student, Probationary Genin, Genin, Chūnin, Special Jōnin, Jōnin, Elite Jōnin, Kage, Super-Kage.]

[Ding! Calculating your stats now—]

[Spirit: Outstanding for a Genin. Chakra: Meets Genin standard. Other physical stats: Academy Student level. Combat Skills: Overall at Genin level. Real-world combat experience: 0.]

[Overall Assessment: Probationary Genin ~ Genin.]

"Just as I expected."

Though still considered weak, Uchiha Kirin was far stronger than he had been before. Back then, he hadn't even qualified as an Academy Student. But now, after only a few simulations, he'd reached Genin-level strength.

Sure, compared to monsters like Uchiha Itachi—someone who had Kage-level power from a young age—this improvement was minor.

But pressure builds motivation, and Kirin wasn't someone who would fold in the face of adversity!

After sorting through his current abilities, Kirin opened his system storage to organize the items he'd obtained from his past simulations: Explosive Tags, a briefcase, two ninjutsu scrolls looted from Uchiha Kazuki, and…

His gaze paused on a single item: a black flame.

During his last simulation, Uchiha Itachi had used this Bloodline Technique to finish him off. But thanks to a glitch or perhaps a quirk of the system, the simulator had recognized the technique as "loot" and awarded it to him.

"Amaterasu… If I can wield this, my survival capabilities would skyrocket."

That was why he'd given up the usual Simulation Point reward and instead waited out the hour-long cooldown. He had to have it.

The problem was, Kirin didn't possess the Mangekyō ability [Amaterasu], nor did he have [Kagutsuchi]—the technique required to control the black flames.

Without a way to manage it, Amaterasu posed a serious threat to himself as well.

Fortunately, Kirin had rewatched Naruto shortly before crossing into this world. Although three years had passed since then, his now-enhanced Spirit stat helped him piece his fragmented memories back together.

He remembered that Amaterasu had a hidden trait: it could only ignite the specific target chosen by the caster. Once that target was completely burned away, the flames would vanish on their own.

Moreover, if a flame-covered part was quickly discarded, the damage could be avoided entirely.

Armed with this knowledge, Kirin's confidence grew. He grabbed an old sock and, with a wave of his hand, dropped the black flames from system storage onto the fabric.

"Hot!" The sock hadn't even fully caught fire yet, but the intense heat made Kirin instinctively fling it into a nearby bucket of water.

Steam hissed and filled the cramped bathroom in seconds, a thick cloud of vapor curling into the air as the flames boiled the water away.

Reacting quickly, Kirin swung his hand and recalled the Amaterasu flames back into the system.

Even with barely a second's exposure, the bathroom was already a scorched mess. And this had only been a single thread of black fire—far from the full force of Uchiha Itachi's Amaterasu.

Truly, this was the power of the sun itself.

Kirin marveled. This glimpse of top-tier ninjutsu left no doubt about its terrifying strength.

And it also confirmed just how much suffering his simulated self had endured at the hands of Root.

...

After some trial and error, Kirin finally mastered the timing to retrieve Amaterasu back into his system storage. At last, he had a means to protect himself in the real world.

"Too bad the system storage doesn't exist in the simulation, or I could've brought Amaterasu in with me…"

Shaking his head, Kirin pushed away the frustration. At the very least, he now had a reliable trump card in real combat.

If anyone dared to attack him—he'd burn them down.

As long as he had time to react, Kirin could wield this flame like someone with Kagutsuchi. Combined with the dynamic vision of his two-tomoe Sharingan, he might even have a shot at landing a surprise kill on a Jōnin!

"Even Itachi can't afford to underestimate me now."

After all the simulations, Kirin finally had the strength to stand firm in the real world.

That one-hour cooldown? Totally worth it.

"Yama... Root's barrier-ninjutsu specialist… Between two and five this afternoon, he'll be across the river…"

Kirin looked at the clock—just past four.

He grabbed his briefcase and the Explosive Tags.

Time to begin the next simulation.
