[Migard Empire, Northern Region, Central Continent]
Atreus Von Revoli held his spear, sharpening his intent by repeatedly striking the puppet ahead.
He wore nothing except a pair of short pants, his eyes were full of boredom, and his scattered violet hair was tied into a tail.
Atreus was a genius with two elements, achieving the Astral Binding stage after a hundred years of his birth, and the Heavenly Formation in two thousand years.
A voice reverberated through the imperial palace, approaching the training hall where he practiced.
"Your highness, your greatness!"
"Someone has killed your fiancé, and the Void Piercer Sect Master has summoned you!!!"
Atreus diverted his attention to the servant, frowning slightly. He asked, "Which one? I have five.", grumbling in annoyance.
"Shinya Ironheart, the—" The servant answered, only to be cut off.
Atreus's attention returned to the puppet, shaking his head in disapproval.
"Good riddance, heavens! But hey, I don't care... So let them handle it themselves."
He answered vaguely before continuing his training.
Atreus was forcibly engaged to her for political reasons, not due to love or interest.
He didn't like Shinya due to her character, she was nothing more than arrogant little bitch to him.
A troublesome one due to her background, making him glad she was off his list.
The servant slumbered; she didn't like the outcome nor his response, but couldn't argue with him either.
She nodded, eventually returning to where she came from, relaying Atreus' answer to the sect envoy.
"Fine, you brought it to yourself, idiots." The envoy sneered, disappearing immediately.
He sped up towards the east, arriving at the Void Piercer Sect a few minutes later.
It wasn't in a good state as their protection was destroyed alongside some of their core buildings.
He ignored the sight before him, flying high to the seventh peak, where the sect master resided.
The atmosphere was tense, the elders were kneeling inside, and the sect master lay before the throne.
His robe was torn, his back was filled with whip marks, and his ass was as red as the blood that soaked him.
"Arghhh, I beg you! Stop!!!"
The sect master screamed at the woman sitting on his throne. She stomped on him, silencing his plea.
She was Ironheart's stepmother and Shiny's biological mother.
She had white skin, two black lips, black hair, purple eyes, and a sharp nose with two tiny horns crowning her head.
Her boobs were slightly big, and her red dress was too loose to fulfill it's propose.
She lamented, "You made my stepson abandon us, and my daughter was killed under a hundred years, were you courting death?!"
"We can revive her with a soul fragment. Please show mercy, Matriarch Artemis!" The sect master responded.
Unlike Justin's case, they kept a few soul fragments of her.
Naturally, Artemis didn't know about the fact that they pursued and killed him.
"So what were you waiting for?"
"We tried, but failed! But fear—"
One of the elders responded, only to turn into a pile of dust.
Artemis was one major stage above them, much stronger by ridiculous leaps and bounds.
"You, how did that trash respond? And you, where is the last soul fragment recorded?"
She pointed at the envoy, asking him, then questioned the elders.
"He didn't care enough to come."
"Here are they, Vayne's and your daughter's memories."
The envoy answered, and an elder stepped forward, handing over two artifacts.
Artemis ignored the envoy and used the artifacts. The scene started playing before her as she slumbered in silence.
There was her stepson killing her daughter, and the sect's elder, like it were no big deal.
She was shocked, feeling like he was completely a different person, a devil in disguise...
She believed wasn't common, nor normal by any means.
Yes, Vayne was merely a late Spirit Manifestation to her.
But it was completely illogical when compared to a Core Forging rat.
Truly, it was an impossible feat! However, there was something else on her mind.
"How, and why?! Malcom, you utter trash!" She looked at the sect master, questioning him.
She knew Justin was a Soul Nurturing cultivator before leaving, but now?
He somehow descended lower, but became insanely stronger.
Moreover, she heard everything he said clearly, sealing his fate.
Malcom's face darked, he knew he was incredibly fucked beyond comprehension.
He closed his eyes, unable to speak, having no excuse. He didn't know how to respond at all at this moment.
Artemis shook her head, standing up.
She decided to take his life since he couldn't answer her.
"Maybe you are a trash worshipper, like my stepson claimed..."
She commented quietly, stomping his back with her foot, leaving a bloody hole.
"May you rot in hell," She waved her hands, throwing a tiny flame on his body.
He began screaming in agony as both his body and soul withered, turning into grey ash.
Artemis approached the envoy, sneering at him.
She said, "If he didn't come willingly, you should have brought him."
Raising her right hand, she smacked him on the head, flattening him on the floor.
Artemis ignored the rest, disappearing before their eyes, appearing far above the Migard's royal palace.
"Come out you moron!" She did nothing but shout, forming a horrific, violent storm.
The destruction started for a moment, but there was always a person above person and a mountain above a mountain!
"Quit it, woman. You've disturbed my slumber." The voice echoed as her storm ceased to exist.
"Nuh uh, not until your descendant comes out!"
Artemis responded, increasing the output of her strength as the destructive storm returned stronger than before.
"Curb your anger, mother-in-law, this foolish junior regrets his decision!"
Atreus's voice echoed as he appeared below her, lying flat and kneeling on the ground.
"Why haven't you answered my summons?" Artemis questioned, calming herself down.
"I was busy, vigorously training to avenge her!"
Artemis nodded, sending his lie easily.
She felt no mercy for him, throwing him into the fire that was her stepson.
"You have three days," She asserted, releasing her pressure.
"If you don't come back with her killer's head, your family will be gone."
Artemis threatened, disappearing from her place a few seconds later. She didn't bother warning him, as she wanted him to kill himself.
