The trouble makers were wild, uncaring about getting blacklisted for the auction.
Their payment was enough to support them for life, leaving them with no hesitation.
"Order! Order in the Great Empress's auction hall!"
The host shouted, clapping her hands.
But it was futile with no strength to back her.
There was no Great Empress to stop the show, and her shadows couldn't intervene.
"I demand judgment, theeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiiifs must die!!!" Someone shouted at the end of the auction hall.
He jumped, mobilizing his earth element as the entire hall was clouded in dust.
Another one burst through the dust with his flames, aiming for Vance's life.
"You dare attack our master under my watch? Dreaming!"
The two clashed using their strength, sending a destructive wave across the hall.
Some crouched below their seats, some were responsive, and the rest were casually sitting still like Justin.
'Just a few more minutes,' Justin thought, planning to be the savior.
However, he was earning too much to stop now.
Thus, he decided to give them more time, hoping some would fight to the death.
As expected, the puppets he hired began killing people.
Justin smiled inside, proud that his judgment and choice were correct.
He looked around himself, making sure no one was focusing on him.
He appeared behind the host, nudging her shoulders. He said, "Take this sword, it will help!"
She was shocked, frozen like a deer in the headlights. Justin forced her hand open, placing the Space Cleaver inside.
Suddenly, her face turned ecstatic as her eyes turned red.
"Silence, you utter trash, or this seat shall wipe you out!" She shouted with a heavy tone.
They ignored her again, causing her to grin like a maniac.
She swung the sword once, instinctively using Shatter on the entire crowd, causing them to collapse.
"Utter trash, you shall be killed now!"
She continued, clearly too high on steroids to know what she was doing.
"You filthy thief supporter, I shall slay you!" One of the puppets pointed his sword, taunting her.
The girl sneered, swinging her sword upright, sending him flying across the hall.
She spun the sword, sending a wave of chaotic wind, crushing and turning his body into messy pasta.
"Order in the Great Empress's hall!" She shouted again, forcing everyone back to their seats.
She grinned in triumph, watching her effort pay off.
"You, do you have any witnesses to defend you?!" She pointed at Vance, questioning him.
He grumbled, "I was given the—"
"Answer, yes or no!"
Vance responded, "Yes!" before looking around himself, searching for those who accompanied him and Justin at the start.
However, none responded, and everyone ignored him.
It was not like he was paying them or giving them any benefits.
Instead, they hated him for taking the jade they wanted without care.
"No, no such thing happened."
"I guess he stole the jade. Otherwise, where did he get them?"
"You see—"
"Silance! We are not here, so you could chat and mess around!" The girl shouted, seemingly disgusted with the answers she received.
She continued, "If he can't be proven innocent, then he's guilty. Take him out!"
Her order was fulfilled as the guards appeared, capturing Vance before taking him away.
"The bidding shall resume, any objects?!" She continued, impressing Justin with her new personality.
"Two thousand sto—"
One of the bidders shouted, ignoring her words.
It ended up with a roaring objection, as she didn't like it.
"No, no, no, you will continue bidding with crystal!"
"Fine, a hundred crystals!" "Hundred five,"
"This young master shall offer two hundred fifty~"
"Hmph, fuck you, you poor illteriates. 5 Mid Quality Jades!!!"
The bidding continued until some stood up, taking it to the next level. Five mid-quality Jades were equal to 750 Crystals or 10 Jades.
Meaning whoever wished to bid against him would have to uphold something better.
But it seemed like everyone else had given up, leaving him alone.
Acquiring the pill through the auction wasn't the only way; they knew they could gang up on him to steal it.
With no more bidding, the pill was finally given away.
'Prefect!' Justin grinned, wishing the buyer hailed from a well-known family or sect.
Not only would that cause the Mystic Tower's reputation to dive, but it would also spark conflict between them.
Eventually, the auction continued until an item caught Justin's attention.
"The third item we have is a legendary treasure. This tower here contains a Dao fragment, and the time inside runs fifty times slower compared to the outside!"
"Bidding shall begin now, minimum is 10 jad—"
The host finished her introduction and just began to announce the rules.
However, Justin didn't give her or anybody the chance to compete.
He knew how valuable Dao fragments were, and he didn't plan on sharing them.
He raised his hand, silencing everyone.
"One diamond." He said.
"Heh, two diamonds!"
A challenger appeared, causing Justin to snear.
"It seems like your brain is as dry as this weather. I offered a high-quality diamond, you understand?"
Justin responded, throwing the diamond into the air.
Like all of the currinces, the high-quality ones equaled fifty of the low-quality ones.
Two diamonds? Sure. Five? Sure. Ten? rare, but maybe possible...
But fifty? That was out of reach for anyone in this region.
Truthfully, none could compete with Justin except for the ones he gave like Rey, the elders, and Empress Eihwar.
The challenger forced himself to shut up, having no chance of competing against Justin.
Meanwhile, the small tower was handed to Justin after paying its price.
"How wonderful!" Justin exclaimed as the notification appeared. He ignored it, intending to use the tower for now.
He tossed it into his inventory, diverting his attention to the next item.
He thought, staring at the sword displayed on the high stand.
It was an epic-grade sword, making him wonder whether it could compete with his own, state-wise, or not.
'Hmm, it might be a nice gift.' He thought.
Considering the outcome, he planned on giving it to Amelia.
