And she was just pulled along. Tris gave a long sigh, wishing to burn down anything in the vicinity. – But that wouldn't have caused any change. Simply, he could do nothing.
Nora just allowed herself to be dragged around. After all, it is highly likely that Tris will now just head back to the dorms. They had to pack their stuff in the end! – It was logical.
She knew Tris as a logical person, at least since they met, not that long ago. – But surely bound over the facts, both of them weren't normal, and that simply made them approach each other.
Yet the fox did not do that, at least for now. – His pathing did not lead to the dorm, but to a place near it. – They were heading to the nearby tea shop! His intentions were clear.
What intentions? Stacking up his baggage with as much Tea as possible… – With Fens' credit card, of course! – Which he just stole when his chair was taken and dismantled.
No one ever said he was innocent. – Cause simply. – He was not innocent. Tris was a sly person who could do many amazing things, either for good or bad. Innocence did not matter.
How did he even steal it? Transmutation. – His hand flicked into the air as the small, thin layer covering his skin moved across his palm, forming a credit card! His lips curling into a smile.
Nora looked confused, more confused than she was when standing in front of the Queen herself. – This was surely not legal. But it's not like she could judge it. She would have done the same!
And that was not all, his hand reached and took out his phone, opening it swiftly and scrolling through his contact list. – 'Fen Pin', he tapped it, revealing the number. A four-letter pin.
'Okay, nevermind. He is evil. – What did my eyes just watch again?'
Amaka's voice sounded in Tris's head. – Clearly bothered by the amount of fox behaviour and slyness he just showed. Reaping benefits from anything.
'Told you, humans might think angels are pure and innocent. – This one isn't. Even if you let a hundred years pass.'
Fuka's voice soon followed over, which seemed to speak with a laugh! – Unlike her younger sister, who was heavily bothered by it. Quite adorable.
Nora blinked as she just saw him create it and just show her the pin… – Okay, she might have heavily underestimated this family. They were more chaotic than royalty.
"Taking my knowledge of Fen, we have around twenty-two hours and fifteen minutes before he realises it's missing. – He only uses it in the mornings for coffee. Doesn't eat unless it's treating others."
The sly fox spoke with a grin; it was not the first time he pulled such an antic. – His mind already had the whole graph prepared. So he simply looked at Nora and awaited an answer.
"I- How much money could that poor guy even have?!"
Nora asked, quite curious. Taking Tris mentioned an oddly specific time, yet no limit on money. – Though still, very, very confused on why he and Althea targeted him specifically.
"The State is aware of my existence. – And the Avatars of the elemental gods. – They pay him a large sum of money, way too high for anything he actually does. He told them himself."
He spoke quite casually. Flipping it around his fingers, he proceeded to walk forward. – Stopping to speak instead of doing it while walking wastes time.
'Who made this child?! He literally has pages in his mind for everyone!'
Amaka's voice rang in his head once more, panicked to an extent. – While Fuka proceeded to just laugh her ass off in there. Without a worry in the world.
"And yes, I am very sure it's considered fraud. – But what the heck will they do about it? Catch me? I'm very sure they wouldn't like my runes. Nor would mother allow it."
The boy added, confidence quite clear in his voice. – Who would not have confidence in his place? You're a little mini or demigod to some extent! He gets to have some fun.
'Simple, he's not innocent. He is efficient!'
Fuka added, laughing lightly, still in the big fox's mind. – She took quite a liking to this behaviour. We can quite clearly see who encouraged it. Herself.
"You've really planned this out in the little short time we were in there-? You truly are unhinged to some extent. What's going on in that mind of yours?!"
Nora asked out loud. Not expecting to get an answer anytime soon. – But she just asked for the sake of doing it. Hoping Tris would not say something to bully her.
"It is simple! You're just stupid, with an untrained mind at that. – Or it's the fact that time slows down when I think, one of the two, I choose first, three against one. I win."
Tris spoke fast, to the point and bluntly. – No holdbacks, just pure bullying in his voice. She did not get the right to an opinion in this current moment.
'Okay, I see why you like the boy so much, Fuka… He is interesting to say the least. – Oops!'
Amaka's voice spoke in his mind, lingering in an echo like manner for the next few seconds. Perhaps a bit longer. – Giving him a small headache for a moment.
"You are so rude! – Has your mother taught you no manners?! – I swear to Sol, I'll get a spray bottle to fix that behaviour of yours!"
Nora spoke, her elbow lightly nudging Tris's side. – Though her mind was truly contemplating buying a spray bottle… It probably would be effective.
"Shut it, we're almost there."
The fox spoke. His hands grabbing Nora's elbow and preparing for his act, he needed a moment before starting to play 'Aid the blind.' again. But he adapted fast.
And so did Nora. As he proceeded to walk forward, he was slowly noticing the open door. Walking inside! Without any worry in the world.
