Flower's POV
My eyes couldn't believe what I was seeing. I thought Banther was joking at first, but now that I am witnessing the outcome of the battle, it appears that he was in fact telling the truth to me.
A 14-year-old boy who doesn't have any Force Affinity yet was able to defeat a member of Black Hole. If I didn't see it with my own eyes, I would've just scoffed at Banther. But now, it changed the whole thing.
I heard a groan coming from my little brother and his body began to twitch. Before he could hit the ground, I caught him using Force Hands and gently placed Arthur on my lap.
"Brother." I whispered while caressing his brown hair. He has the same hair color as father, same build as him as well, and from what I heard from my parents, he also has a similar eye color like my mother. "Good job, little bro." I said then hugged him.
I checked Arthur's health and after my scan confirmed that he didn't suffer any serious wounds during the fight, I brought him to the medical place to get him treated. I also helped Banther get treated as well before proceeding to help those who needed aid.
Not to brag about it, but during my career in the Zolgarian Army, I learned medical stuff to help heal and aid those who were seriously injured incase medics weren't available. Of course, as a certified life saver and also a Staff Sergeant of the Zolgarian Army, it is my duty to treat my people and save them from dying.
I contacted my leadership and reported them the situation in the camp. At first, they didn't believe me. But I showed them the images of the aftermath of the fight. Only then, they believed the truth.
'I will sign the counseling when I get back.' I said and closed the Wi-Fi Link even before they could respond. I already told them that if any of my family members gets harmed, including our maids and butlers, I am willing to abandon my post just to save them from evil.
I love my family. I love my friends. I love everyone who were with me since I was a little child, and those who helped me stood up during my darkest moments. Because of my love, I am willing to throw away everything I have in exchange for the safety of my loved ones.
'No one will ever take them from me. Never. Again.'
Few hours later, the troops from the Zolgarian Army arrived in the camp. Of course, the majority of the Guardians were medics, but that was all I needed to make sure that everyone gets treated well in the camp. I'm sure they are all too tired. So, I requested for cooks to come as well to make them food to get better.
After working tirelessly for the whole day, treating patients and mending their wounds, I went back to check on my little brother who was still unconscious. I checked his health again to make sure he was still alive, and I thank my Creator because he was indeed still alive and sleeping peacefully.
"My lady." Bather said while he slowly approached me to bow his head down. But I stopped him.
"Don't. Get some rest, Banther. I don't care about formalities. You have been with me since the day I was born. So, you are like a family member to me." I said while giving him a warm smile to reassure him.
"How is the young master?" He asked.
"I just checked his health. He is asleep, but he is recovering well." I replied while I glanced at Arthur who was sleeping on the bed.
"The young master is strong." Banther said, averting my gaze to him. "I have fought countless battles with your father. Whenever we faced strong adversaries, your father always prevailed in every tough battle. I respected him the most." He paused. "But..." He slowly trailed off his words.
"But what?"
"Looking at the young master, he is different. There is something in him that I cannot comprehend. He is similar to your father, yet completely different. Everything he does have purpose behind his moves. It is as if... I am looking at a general instead of a young boy." He finally said. He looked at me and for the first time in my life ever since I met Banther, I have never seen him make a fearful expression. "While I respect your father, I fear your little brother." He said.
I held my breath. I didn't say any more words. After the conversation, Banther left and went back to his bunk to get some rest. I was left alone in the room with my little brother. But, even if what Banther said about Arthur was true, that's not a reason to treat him differently. He is my little brother and my blood. I will love him no matter what.
I've known few zolgarians and Guardians in my life that fell to the wrong path because of how they were treated. I tried my best to give hope to them, but no matter how hard I try, I never succeeded in bringing them back to the light. I still blame myself because I failed them, even though it wasn't my fault. Yet the guilt of seeing someone changed and walk the wrong path because of how others treated them made my heart clenched in pain.
'I won't treat you differently, brother. No matter what you are or what you did, I will give you hope and guide you to the light so that you won't get lost.'
