Few hours later, Benedict and Christina arrived, followed by Master Sorania from behind. However, she increased her steps, entering the house first.
"What the heck?" Christina blurted out in surprise. "We got here first!"
"But 'I' entered first, did I?" Master Sorania snickered while Christina threw countless curses at her. Benedict and I just looked at each other and sighed.
Master Sorania reached the gate, however, knowing Christina who doesn't like losing, took the opportunity to step in first. She glanced at Master Sorania and gave her a middle finger, while Master Sorania clicked her tongue in annoyance.
"I will get you someday, brat." She muttered under her breath.
We got to the top floor and went to the living room. Master Sorania was sitting alone in the other side of the couch while the two couples were sitting together on the other side so that the three were facing each other.
I approached Master Sorania first and handed her a cup of tea, which she loves to drink whenever she visits our home. Then I gave Benedict and Christina a cup of coffee which they love to sip during meetings to calm their nerves down.
Master Sorania took a sip of her tea. She savored the taste of her drink, making her flush in happiness. Even though she tried her best to hide it, her cheeks and her eyes betrayed her.
"So, I heard about this prodigy which is your son. But I never expected him to be able to defeat a member of the Black Hole at such a young age." She said after taking a sip of her tea again.
"He is indeed special. Not only was he able to form a Force Core at an early age, but I also heard from Banther that two years ago, Arthur went out to the forest and defeated ten thieves that tried to get him." Benedict said while looking at me which made me swallow a lump of saliva.
"Beating ten thieves is common." Master Sorania said. "What's so special about it?"
"He defeated them using Force only." Christina added.
"Impressive. And he also defeated Iskara, the one who led the Fiends to raid the camp, with no Force Affinity as well." Master Sorania's eyes slowly widened as she recalled the images of the young master's battle.
"Never in my life have I heard a zolgarian having a Force Core at the age of three, having a great capability of utilizing Force as a weapon, and being able to beat a member of a Black Hole alone with no Force Affinity." Benedict said with excitement and pride behind his voice.
"That's where you're wrong, child." Master Sorania chuckled. She took another sip of her tea and set it down using Force Hands. "There was one who achieved such feats. But it has been thousand centuries and only few remembers him."
"Are you talking about the Hero of the Universe?" Christina asked in shock. "I thought he was just fairy tales for kids to listen to?"
Master Sorania laughed at her remarks. "As time goes by, the truth will slowly get buried by false stories." She said. There was a hint of sadness behind her eyes as she stared at the cup of tea in front of her. "And no. The Hero of the Universe is true and not a myth. However, he is a good inspiration for children." She smiled.
There was a prolonged silence that filled the entire room. They noticed that Master Sorania was still staring at her tea with a thin smile on her face. However, there was no joy behind her smile, only grief and mourn. No one said a word and we all waited for her to speak first. After a few minutes, she finally spoke and changed the topic.
"So, tell me..." She trailed off while looking back and forth at the couples who tilted their heads in confusion. "Unlike you two, who chose to attend the academy first when you hit the age of twelve, why did your son choose to be in the frontlines?"
Benedict and Christina explained to Master Sorania Arthur's reasons. Apparently, the young master wanted to gain experience first in combat and used the opportunity to sharpen his Force within two years. After two years, he plans to join the academy, get his degree, and join the Zolgarian Army as an officer.
Master Sorania chuckled after they told Arthur's reasoning.
"The kid is smart. Not only he went to the frontlines to hone his skills, but he also was able to learn his weakness and flows to fix them, mastered the basics of Force and combat, and lastly, he got to experience leading a huge group of zolgarians to battle. More birds with one stone." Master Sorania said which she followed with a sincere laughter. She then took another sip of her tea. "I don't know if you know this, but the whole zolgar knows of Arthur's fame."
"What he became famous already? News fly so fast." Christina was surprised at the sudden fame of her son. Even though it's only been few hours, the news of the raid in the camp and the young master's victory against a Black Hole member at an early age was quickly spread throughout the world of zolgar.
"It is." Master Sorania chuckled at Christina's reaction. "I am eager to meet your son, though." She said with a mischievous look on her face, making the couples gulped in worry.
