Cherreads

Chapter 38 - Ch. 038 - Spending Time [1]

Arthur's POV

A day has gone by, and Master Sorania left our home due to a sudden emergency. I am still recovering from my injuries that I accumulated during the fight against Iskara yesterday.

To be honest, I wasn't expecting to fight a member from the Black Hole at an early age. But what's done has been done. He threatened that the organization will harm my loved ones, and I can't just let those words slide. I made a vow to myself when I was younger to protect my beloved ones and to cherish every moment with them.

I can't let an ancient organization ruin that.

Ever since then, I've been pondering a lot what is my next course of action that I should take. Iskara was powerful. If someone like him could raid an entire camp that has the same size of a city, then I could already imagine how terrifying every member of their organization is.

That's right. That battle was an eye opener for me.

I defeated Iskara, a member from an ancient organization. By doing so, I made myself an enemy of the Black Hole. But I don't care. No matter how strong they are, how old they are, or how huge their numbers are, I will crush them down before they could harm those whom I love.

I'll grow stronger and protect my loved ones.

~~~~~
Few weeks have gone by, and I am still recovering. However, thanks to this recovery phase, I am able to spend my time with my parents and got to catch up with my sister, Flower.
From her point of view, the reason why she was never been in the house even when I was born because she was sent to a long mission. She just finished her gruesome job and was about to report back to her camp, until she heard the raid that happened to our camp. At first, she just ignored it, until her officer told her that her new younger brother and Banther was at the camp during the raid. So, without hesitation, she quickly rushed to the frontlines to save us.
"You arrived late though." I said. Her face became red from shame.
"I know! I'm sorry! It's been a while since I visited the camp, so I got lost." She said while scratching her head in embarrassment.
When I asked her about what her mission was that made her go away for so long from the house, she didn't disclose anything to me because it was "classified" and only those who were related to the mission could talk about it, but in private quarters.
I understood my sister's position, so I stopped asking about it.
Then, she also told me that I have two brothers that are in the Zolgarian Army as well and they were away for some quite time now because of the countess amounts of missions they were receiving from the Royals themselves.
"How many more siblings do I have?" I asked my parents.
"You have three, my son." Benedict replied.
"You're the youngest of them all!" Christina smiled.
These past few weeks since my return from the frontline was peaceful. I enjoyed and cherished every second I spent my time with my loved ones. Despite the fact that I was still recovering, that didn't stop me from training my body and Force Core behind the curtains to not worry, and especially, to not anger my mother.
I've known Christina for many years now. And she is a very overprotective and overreacting, obnoxious, yet caring and loving mother I have ever met in my life.
But despite her attitude that irked me, I still love her.
