Chapter 31
The sun was clearly blue.
Clouds drifted lazily across the beautiful sky. Even though many flowers were missing petals, that didn't stop the weather from looking breathtaking.
But the tranquility didn't last long.
Mark leaned on his desk, hands crossed, balancing his stern face. His silver eyes darkened as he stared at his secretary—who was now looking up at the ceiling, unable to handle his heated glare.
"What's happening to her?" Mark's cold voice echoed.
Secretary Kim gulped slowly before forcing her best smile.
"She started malfunctioning last night. No one knows what's wrong. We tried everything—but it only made her worse."
"Did you check the cybersecurity?" Mark asked.
She nodded.
"No one hacked our system. There was no sign of intrusion. If someone did hack it, they would've left a mark. Even the best cybersecurity company—CyberX—can't break in without leaving some trace," Secretary Kim explained.
Mark raised a brow.
"Are you sure?"
