Chapter 24 - Chapter 24: M Country Research Institute

Julian Sia's gaze lingered on her for a few seconds, then he lowered his head slightly, his voice lazy and playful.

"Claire, don't accuse your brother unjustly."

Claire Green subtly turned her head to avoid his gaze.

Julian didn't mind, and handed over a skewer of meat.

One ate while the other handed it over; the atmosphere was harmonious.

The few people who witnessed the entire process suddenly felt that the meat in their hands was not tasty anymore.

"I'm suddenly full," Sebastian Winn put down his food and spoke quietly.

John Sinclair took a bite of meat and agreed, "Me too. Claire, can you consider the feelings of us single folks?"

Upon hearing this, Claire Green raised her beautiful eyebrows slightly, and looked at him with interest, "Oh, do you want a little sister?"

"Cough—"

John Sinclair choked suddenly upon hearing this, patting his chest repeatedly, his face started to turn red, not knowing if it was from embarrassment or anger.

Claire Green sat there leisurely, with a half-smile, "You're so excited, I'll arrange it for you next time."

"Hahaha."

Everyone burst into laughter, even Julian Sia had a faint smile on his lips.

"No need," John Sinclair trembled all over, shaking his head repeatedly.

The thought of a girl calling him brother someday made his whole body shiver.

Suddenly, Claire Green's phone rang, she looked down at it and hung up.

"Claire, why didn't you answer," George Xyler spoke casually.

"It's a sales call, no need to answer." Claire Green's expression was calm.

A barbecue ended perfectly amidst their noise and clamor.

During this time, Claire Green's phone rang twice more, both were hung up.

Everyone no longer doubted, that number was definitely doing sales, only Julian Sia had a deep gaze, in thought.

"Claire, are you planning to return to the hotel?"

Isabella Xyler checked the time and asked.

"You guys head back first, I have something to do," finished speaking, without waiting for them to react, Claire Green put on a mask and left quickly.

Julian Sia frowned as he watched her leave, then sat coldly in the car.

...

Claire Green put on a voice changer, quickly called back.

"What's the matter."

The girl on the other end blinked, questioned irritably, "J, you hung up on me three times, what were you doing?"

"I was busy, inconvenient," Claire Green rubbed her temples, "Why call me so urgently, what's up."

The Nether Lord sensed J sounded somewhat fatigued, went straight to the point, "There's a job offer, ten billion compensation."

Upon hearing this, Claire Green paused, ten billion, which fool has too much money to spend.

"With such high compensation, no one would take it."

The Nether Lord on the other side smiled bitterly, "This task is somewhat special, so most have refused it."

Claire Green raised her eyebrows, everyone refused, now that's interesting.

Lips parted slightly, "What's the content."

"Hack into Z Country's institute and steal the latest research data."

Upon hearing this, Claire Green's hand suddenly clenched, "Who's placing the order,"

Her eyes flashed with a wicked red, her mouth twisted into a cold smile.

The Nether Lord shook her head, "Don't know, this is an anonymous order."

"Got it," Claire Green hung up the call, headed to an internet café.

Casually found a corner machine, logged into the M.K website, saw that order posted on the homepage.

A glimpse of hostility flashed in her eyes, fingers moved rapidly, running various codes.

In her past life, although treated as a lab specimen, she undeniably had a patriotic heart.

Based on that order, pinpointed the client's address, and upon seeing M Country's institute, Claire Green became utterly ruthless.

Suddenly, her lips twisted into a sinister smile.

Fingers leisurely tapped on the keyboard, issuing commands.

Effortlessly breached M Country's institute's firewall, slowly browsing their research data, her delicate eyes filled with coldness.

With this level of research, no wonder they covet our country's data.

Claire Green sneered sarcastically.

Calmly deleted their data, then hacked into M Country's largest electronic screen, arrogantly leaving two pictures and a sentence.

...

M Country's institute was in chaos at the moment, half an hour ago someone breached their firewall.

Quickly gathered top hackers to solve it, but no methods worked, could only watch helplessly as their research data was wiped clean.

"Who on earth," the institute's head snarled at the screen, roared angrily.

No one dared speak, bowed their heads in silence.

Suddenly, his phone rang, just after answering, he was bombarded with curses.

"What happened to the experimental data, now this thing is on all big screens," the caller paused, with a threatening tone, "No matter how, you must give me a perfect answer for this, or you can leave."

The institute members saw their leader take a call and his face grew worse.

They saw him kick over a chair, swept everything off the table in a raging fit.

One member cautiously stepped forward, "Director, what's wrong."

Upon inquiry, the man's eyes glared sharply at him, after a moment, shifted his gaze away.

"Go check what's up with the big screen, quickly get the things taken down."

The man turned to the hacker and gave a command.

Big screen?

The hacker paused for a moment, quickly operated on the computer, minute by minute passed, sweat increasingly dripping from his forehead.

How is this happening, why can't it be deleted.

Finally, he could only give up, dejectedly report, "That person's hacking skills are very strong, I can't delete it."

Upon hearing this, the man grabbed a handful of items and hurled them, cursing non-stop, "Useless, you bunch of useless."

...

It was nearly dawn in the country now, suddenly a topic about hacker J appeared on Weibo's hot search.

Given the late hour, few paid attention, but by the next morning, the topic went viral.

John Sinclair entered class habitually as the bell rang, seeing a group of classmates passionately discussing, casually patted the shoulder of a guy at the door.

Gesture upward, "What's going on."

Startled by the sudden shoulder pat, the guy initially thought it was the teacher, but relaxed upon seeing him.

"John, next time can you not do that."

John Sinclair impatiently patted again, "I asked what's going on."

The guy's face flushed with excitement, pulled out his phone, pointed at Weibo's hot search, "This hacker J is so awesome, singlehandedly wiped out M Country's research data."

Hearing this, John Sinclair got interested, so there's such a thing.

Eagerly took out his phone, logged into Weibo, scrolled through slowly, after seeing the events, couldn't help but curse.

"Wow, this master is impressive, M Country must feel the sting of this humiliation."

It turned out a girl studying abroad in M Country, while shopping, suddenly noticed all large-screen advertisements changed.

Upon closer inspection, the content shocked her. As a Z Country citizen, she knew how arduous her country's research was.

If not for J today, wouldn't those people have succeeded?

In that moment, anger and excitement intertwined within her, she unhesitatingly filmed a video, posted it on Weibo.
