Chapter 16 - Chapter 16: No Useless People

Feeling the touch on her face, Claire Green raised her eyebrows.

"Brother touched me, but he needs to take responsibility."

Julian Sia's lips curled lightly, retracting his fingers, "Kid, keep some reservation."

Unintentionally, he put that hand back into his pants pocket, the warmth still seemed to linger.

The kid's face was quite soft.

Claire Green squinted her eyes, her crimson lips curving up, "Brother, this is double standards."

Julian Sia's eyes paused for a moment, understanding the meaning in her words, a hint of amusement flashed in his eyes.

The two who were qualified as background players stared in shock at the scene.

Did Mr. Sia just flirt with the young lady?

But, why do I feel like there's a bright light above my head?

"You haven't told me why you're not going home so late," Julian Sia spoke casually.

Claire Green tugged on her backpack, blurting out instinctively, "Tutoring."

As soon as the words fell, she saw the man before her lift his eyelids and look at her with a half-smile.

Julian Sia smiled at the corner of his mouth, speaking slowly, "Are you planning to teach people how to sleep during exams and get zero marks, or how to fight?"

Claire Green's eyelids twitched, she didn't need to think to know who told him about the zero marks issue.

"Haha," a burst of laughter suddenly rang out.

This question from Mr. Sia was surely like a needle in the heart.

Claire Green looked over to the side, only to see two big men shaking their shoulders, laughing uncontrollably.

George Xyler nudged the person next to him with his elbow, immediately holding back his laughter.

"Sorry, we usually don't laugh unless we can't help it," Mason Quinn said while laughing.

Seeing this, Claire Green raised her chin slightly, saying coldly, "Idiots."

Watching her pose, a smile flashed in Julian Sia's deep eyes, he walked over to her with one hand in his pocket, speaking lazily.

"Kid, let brother take you home."

"Thanks, but I have a car."

Saying this, Claire Green waved her hand, heading straight toward the nearby little yellow bike.

Mason Quinn watched her leave, exclaiming, "Mr. Sia, your car can't even compare to a little yellow bike."

"Get lost," Julian Sia softly spat out a word.

...

Meanwhile, John Sinclair and the others were still eating heartily, the table filled with various skewers.

"Do you guys know why Olivia won't come home," Isabella Xyler took a bite of the skewer, speaking indistinctly.

Hearing this, John Sinclair downed a gulp of alcohol, "You don't know?"

"What?"

Sebastian Winn was eating skewers with his hands, enjoying himself.

"Olivia is an orphan."

Orphan?

Suddenly, Isabella Xyler found it hard to swallow the meat in her mouth.

Never expected such a girl to be abandoned.

Those abandoning her must have a severe mental illness.

"The fat guy is right, it's already spread in the school that Olivia was adopted by Song Manor as an orphan."

John Sinclair called for another bottle of alcohol, pouring it for himself.

Isabella Xyler was still a bit dumbfounded, "Song Manor?"

"Yes, Bayne City's rich family, you probably don't know," John Sinclair spoke indifferently.

After listening, Isabella Xyler quietly took the wine bottle and started drinking.

She had been living in wealth since childhood, seeing a lot.

If a family has no benefits, why would they adopt other children?

It's probably because Olivia is displeased with life at Song Manor, she moved to the hotel.

...

Under the dim streetlights, Claire Green leisurely rode the little yellow bike, the breeze lifting her hair, creating a unique beauty.

Suddenly, thunder roared and heavy rain poured down.

Claire Green was instantly drenched like a wet chicken, feeling the stickiness on her body, her brow furrowed, lips pursed.

"Damn."

When she returned to the hotel, she was thoroughly soaked.

The front desk initially wanted to ask her, but seeing her cold eyes and the chill emanating from her, was scared away.

After showering her mood didn't improve, she went to sleep immediately.

...

The next day

Brightsong, Senior Year Class Six.

The physics teacher was lecturing in class, and John Sinclair and Sebastian Winn swaggered in.

The two saw Claire Green's empty seat and were astonished, Olivia was late today.

The teacher on the podium saw them and became angry, "John Sinclair, Sebastian Winn, are you becoming more unruly?"

No uniform, late entry without a report?

John Sinclair perfunctorily nodded, "I'll pay attention next time."

His response was undoubtedly adding fuel to the fire, the teacher's anger grew, "Next time, how many times have you said these words, have you changed?"

Sebastian Winn put down his backpack, speaking carelessly, "Teacher, you can pretend we don't exist, just continue the class."

Upon hearing this, the physics teacher slammed the table heavily, chalk dust flying.

"Rebel, rebel, you don't behave like students at all, is there anyone more arrogant than you now?"

As the words fell.

A hoarse voice suddenly came from the door.

"Report."

In an instant, everyone's gaze shifted to the door.

They only saw a girl leaning lazily against the door, wearing a school uniform.

Her black hair was casually tied, with an overly eye-catching face carrying a faint blush, her eyes showed arrogance.

The teacher seeing her, felt his head spinning, he had forgotten that indeed there was one more arrogant.

"Claire Green, where's your backpack?"

Claire Green impatiently pressed a finger to her brow, pondering briefly, speaking coldly.

"Left it in the little yellow bike."

The crowd burst into laughter.

You're fierce, really fierce.

Last night when it suddenly rained, Claire Green's mood was foul, she just tossed the bike aside, the backpack was there too.

But she didn't forget to take her laptop.

The teacher was furious, "Fine, I see you guys in Class Six will end up like this."

"Teacher, you can eat more, but don't talk nonsense," Claire Green looked at him coldly.

"Just a teacher, why say such things."

"Maybe it's because of his Mediterranean hair," Isabella Xyler stretched lazily, jokingly said.

In a word, everyone's eyes fell on the teacher's head, it was indeed Mediterranean.

"You simply have no discipline, a group of losers," the teacher finished speaking, took his teaching plan with anger, and went out slamming the door.

In an instant, most of the class fell silent, they had bad grades, so they were placed in Class Six, looked down upon.

But it doesn't mean they really wanted to be called losers.

"What, feeling sad now."

Claire Green held onto the podium, looking at the people below, smiling as she spoke.

Silence, no one spoke.

"To not be called losers, prove it to those people," Claire Green chuckled, "You are not losers."

Everyone widened their eyes looking at the girl on the podium, no one expected that the usually aloof, hard-to-reach Claire Green would say such words.

"Remember, there are no losers, only people unwilling to try," Claire Green said lightly, walking to her seat.

"Wow, Olivia, you spoke like a different person today," John Sinclair eagerly spoke as she came down.

On the contrary, Isabella Xyler and Sebastian Winn both had faces full of admiration.

Not surprising that someone I like, truly unique.
