INT. ORPHANAGE STORAGE ROOM – LATE NIGHT
The room is dim and dusty. A single flickering bulb swings from the ceiling.
Old medical supplies. Broken chairs. Forgotten cabinets.
Mahi stumbles in, eyes wild, breath ragged.
Her hands shake as she yanks open a rusted drawer.
Inside — a small surgical tray.
Scissors. Blades. A scalpel.
Her fingers hover.
Then stop.
She picks up a scalpel…
Then drops it.
And grabs a kitchen knife instead.
MAHI (to herself, trembling):
"She lied…
She destroyed everything…"
Her face contorts — tears, anger, madness, heartbreak all crashing into one unstoppable wave.
She storms out.

INT. ORPHANAGE CORRIDOR – NIGHT
Footsteps. Fast. Determined. Echoing like gunshots.
Mahi walks like a woman possessed.
The knife hidden under her coat.
Her hair flying loose.
Her eyes full of murder.
Staff members see her — but don't stop her.
They've never seen this Mahi before.
INT. MISHRI'S GUEST ROOM – NIGHT – ORPHANAGE WING
The old room is quiet. Rain taps at the window in uneven rhythm.
Mishri stands in front of the mirror, brushing her hair slowly. A faint smile dances on her lips.
She hums an old Hindi tune — something haunting. Almost too calm.
She walks to her side table, checks her phone.
Nothing from Ahaan.
But she doesn't care. Because in her mind…
She's already won.
She pours herself water. Sips.
Suddenly —
THUD.
A sound outside the door.
Then… the door slams open.
Mahi.
Soaked in rain. Hair wild.
Her doctor's coat drenched, clinging to her.
Eyes burning with something no one has ever seen in her before:
Wrath.
MISHRI (startled):
"Mahi—?"
MAHI (calmly):
"Did you enjoy destroying me?"
MISHRI (blinks, innocent):
"What are you talking about—"
MAHI:
"Don't lie. Not to me.
You kissed him.
You took him.
And you broke me."
MISHRI (soft laugh):
"Mahi, you're overreacting."
MAHI (steps forward):
"You don't get to call it that.
You don't get to walk in and smile after poisoning everything I ever loved."
MISHRI (defensive):
"He chose me.
You left."
MAHI (laughs bitterly):
"I left because I saw him with you.
You knew I was coming that night.
You wanted me to see it."
Mishri swallows. Her fake calm starts cracking.
MAHI (whispers, trembling):
"I gave him every part of me.
And now you stand here, humming songs,
like you didn't pull the trigger on my soul."
She opens her coat.
Reveals a knife.
MISHRI (backing away):
"Mahi—stop.
You're not thinking straight."
MAHI:
"I've never thought clearer."
She lunges.
Mishri screams — stumbles against the table. The lamp crashes down.
Mahi swings the knife — slashes the air. Just misses.
Mishri runs toward the wardrobe. Slams it shut between them.
MISHRI (terrified):
"You're a doctor! You save lives!"
MAHI (growling):
"And you ruined mine."
She throws a vase — it shatters beside Mishri's head.
MISHRI (pleading):
"I didn't steal him.
He didn't love you anymore!"
MAHI (furious):
"HE. LOVED. ME."
She throws the knife — it lands right beside Mishri's face, stabbing into the wood.
Everything stops.
Mahi stands there, chest heaving.
Eyes filled with tears — but not weakness.
Fire. Fury. Womanhood in ruins.
Mishri slides to the floor, shaking.
MAHI (quietly):
"You don't deserve to breathe in the same world he touched."
