Crash!
The room is chaos.
Mahi stands over Mishri, hair wild, knife clenched in her fist — panting like an animal pushed too far.
Mishri is cornered, crouched by the wardrobe, her hands up, pleading.
MISHRI (sobbing):
"Mahi… please!
I didn't mean—!"
MAHI (screaming):
"You took everything from me!"
She raises the knife.
Time slows.
A heartbeat.
The rain outside grows louder.
Then—
BANG.
A gunshot slices the air.
Mahi gasps.
The knife clatters to the floor.
She stumbles back…
Her eyes wide.
Blood spreads from her back.
Right shoulder. Just beside the spine.
She turns — staggering.
Ahaan stands at the door.
Gun smoking.
Eyes unreadable.
Jaw clenched.
MAHI (whispers):
"...Ahaan?"
He doesn't speak.
He rushes to Mishri — grabs her, pulls her into his arms.
MAHI'S POV:
The room blurs.
The person she loved and trusted…
...holds other's arms.
She tries to take a step forward — but her knees give out.
She collapses.
Mahi hits the floor, hard — knife still nearby.
Blood stains the tile.
Tears slip from her eyes.
MAHI (barely audible):
"You shot me…"
**She blinks slowly — her gaze locked on Ahaan.
Not in hatred.
But in love.
In grief.
In finality.
Ahaan looks down at her — torn. But he doesn't move.
Mishri clutches his arm tighter.
She whispers something in his ear.
We don't hear it.
The last thing Mahi sees —
Is Ahaan turning away.

But alive.
