INT. HOSPITAL CORRIDOR – NIGHT
The corridor outside ICU-3 is empty… except for one silent observer.
Saif stands in the shadows, near a corner just out of sight. Dressed in a loose hospital sweatshirt, still weak but alert, his eyes are locked on one thing:
Mahi.
He watches as she stands frozen outside the ICU.
He sees the exact moment she spots Ahaan and Mishri… kissing.
And he sees her break.
No screams. No words.
Just one tear.
She turns away and walks — slow, numb — as if the floor beneath her doesn't feel real anymore.
Saif's heart clenches.
SAIF (to himself, whispering):
"Why do you always have to hurt like this?"
She passes right by him — unaware of his presence. Her eyes unfocused. Her arms wrapped around herself like she's trying to hold in everything that's breaking.
Saif takes a step forward.
He wants to stop her.
Wants to hold her.
Tell her he saw it too.
Tell her she doesn't deserve this pain.
But he can't.
Because no matter how much he loves her…
he's not the one she's crying for.
He watches her walk away.
Silent.
Still.
Then he looks back toward the ICU door. His jaw clenches.
SAIF (softly, almost growling):
"You don't deserve her, Ahaan."
He leans against the cold wall, dragging a hand through his hair, his breath shaky.
And somewhere inside his chest… a storm brews.
Not just of love.
But of guilt.
And anger.
And helplessness.
