System binding?
After fully assimilating the memories from his previous life, Naro remembered who he had once been. Many matters that had confused him a moment ago were now clear.
It was obvious that he had reincarnated, a fact that both thrilled and unnerved him.
But was this a transmigration? Had he crossed over into an entirely different world, or was he still on the familiar Blue Planet?
Judging from the strange and unfamiliar tools being used by the man in front of him, he surmised that he had indeed transmigrated to a new world.
But, before he could fully grasp the significance of this revelation, he was hit with another astonishing discovery—he possessed a system.
What a whirlwind of information and implications! The reality of his situation left him feeling both exhilarated and dazed.
Naro did not have much attachment to his prior life. There were no relatives who he desperately cared for, nor luxuries that he could not live without. Not to mention that his past life was already gone.
There was no reason to cling to something that was bad in the first place. How strange would it be to cling to it when it was gone.
Taking ten steps back, the current life was the one with promise. After all, he still had his prior memories, and the clock had been turned back to day one.
He was an adult in an infant's body!
With this alone, he could have gotten a head start on everyone and dominated his peers on the Blue Planet.
Now, in the new world, it was impossible to make such projections. Without understanding the differences between worlds, nothing was certain.
However, he still had a system to factor in!
Even though he did not know its function, as a transmigrator with a system, how could he suffer?
Fundamental Laws of Nature?
Sounded high level.
Simple actions?
Sounded doable.
Was this considered hitting the lottery among systems?
Naro took a sharp intake of breath, as he felt joy rush throughout his infant body.
Was this a so-called simple action? Taking in a breath?
The threshold was so low.
Naro tried to observe his internal state.
There was no sense of natural comprehension or physical enhancement. In fact, nothing felt different. But this was not surprising. It was just a simple breath, after all.
He took another breath. This time, it was slow and controlled.
Nothing was different. Judging from the 'plus one' next to the 'Breathing,' it did not even matter what quality of breathing it was. Everything gave points equally.
He took another breath, making it quick and shallow.
No changes.
No changes.
The lack of progress did not bother him. When working towards a goal that was as high-level as following the Fundamental Laws of Nature, it was clear that great changes could not be accomplished quickly.
On the other hand, the feeling of getting points so easily was…truly satisfying.
Were there other actions he could perform?
His infant body kicked out happily, startling the man in front of him.
Kick.
Breathe.
Naro moved his hand.
It was just too simple.
Naro wondered whether there were other features to the system. Like, for instance, a panel…
Panel, he chanted inwardly.
His question was answered instantly. But this panel…it was a little strange.
For instance, there was no name. It only said 'newborn.' Perhaps this was because his parents in this world had not yet named him.
The rest of the panel was not very comprehensive either. There were just two skills, and that was it. There wasn't even any indication of how long it would take to progress towards the mysterious 'Laws of Nature.'
Hide panel, Naro chanted.
The panel promptly disappeared. Meanwhile, he continued to move and breathe.
