Chapter 3 - "Superman Script Loading."

-----

-----

"A farm, a basement… and now a freaking alien spaceship...?"

All these strangely familiar things were adding up in Peter's mind, and suddenly, an image popped into his head.

A skintight, sky-blue suit showing off a flawless physique. A bold "S" emblem across the chest—standing for hope.

Hovering in midair, looking down on everything.

A red cape fluttering behind in the wind.

Like a god among men. So powerful, it sent chills down your spine.

"So… don't tell me I'm actually…"

Even though it was just a wild guess in his head, Peter couldn't stop his heart from racing.

This kind of nervous excitement? It was even stronger than the time he snuck into Oscorp and let that genetically-modified spider bite him.

Because this… this was Superman we're talking about!

Spider-Man might seem powerful, sure—but compared to Superman? He wouldn't even be a blip on the radar.

If Superman wanted to crush Spider-Man, it'd be as easy as a human squashing an actual spider.

And if Peter could get Superman's powers—even if it wasn't one of those god-tier versions from the comics, just a "regular" Superman—that'd still be an insane level of power.

He'd never have to worry about any of the constant crises in the Marvel Universe ever again.

A body of steel, immune to all attacks. Heat vision that could vaporize any enemy.

Even if some purple giant showed up wearing a fancy glove full of gems, Peter could one-hand teach him how to be a well-behaved, lovable little cupcake.

"No, no, calm down… keep it together."

Peter's heart was pounding so fast he was struggling to breathe. It took several deep breaths before he managed to calm himself.

But once he did, the excitement inside him was too much to hold back any longer. He slowly stepped toward the spaceship.

Still, even though he was dying to figure out what this alien ship was all about…

He didn't drop his guard.

As he crept forward, he picked up a few small rocks from the ground, just in case.

Whoosh—Clang!

One of the rocks he tossed sailed through the air and hit the ship dead-on. (It was a huge spaceship—heck, even a pig could've hit it.)

Peter didn't care how ridiculous he looked—he immediately dropped to the ground and covered his head with both hands.

One second… two seconds… three…

After about ten seconds passed with no explosion or alien monsters popping out, Peter slowly lifted his head.

Then he tried again, this time with a few bigger rocks—just to be sure.

Once he was convinced it was safe to approach, Peter jumped to his feet and eagerly rushed over to the spaceship.

Using the flashlight to get a closer look, he finally confirmed, "Yup… it's definitely a spaceship."

The hull was covered in a thick layer of dust.

But from its shape and materials alone, Peter could tell this thing wasn't made with Earth tech—not even in a world like Marvel's, where crazy sci-fi stuff pops up every other day.

Staring at the sleek, high-tech spaceship in front of him…

Peter couldn't hold back his curiosity anymore.

He slowly reached out his hand to touch it.

And the moment his fingers brushed against the surface—

VMMM!

A loud hum rang out, and this seemingly lifeless chunk of rock suddenly came to life like a sleeping beast awakening.

In a flash, it lit up with a bright glow—not blinding, but intense.

The thick dust on the ship, along with bits of rubble all around, started floating into the air as if gravity had suddenly stopped working.

Then, guided by some unseen force, everything began gathering around the spaceship, slowly orbiting it in a weird, almost ritual-like pattern.

Anyone else seeing this would probably be blown away by how surreal and magical it looked.

But Peter wasn't even paying attention to any of that.

Because the second his hand made contact with the spaceship—

A strange message suddenly popped into his head:

[Rewrite Your Life. Infinite Possibilities.Welcome to the "Unlimited Life Rewrite" System.Your life is now yours to control.]

"This… is this one of those cheat systems all the isekai guys get?!"

As the message echoed in his mind, Peter finally realized—just like all those other lucky reincarnators, he'd gotten a system too.

*[Congratulations, Host. Your life script has been successfully rewritten.New script loaded.(Reminder: Your new life script has been automatically generated based on your strongest inner desire.)Life is like a movie.Only death brings the final curtain.]

"How you rewrite the script of your life—that's up to you!"

As more information from the system flowed into Peter's mind, he finally understood everything.

Turns out, everything that had happened to him so far was all thanks to the system secretly helping him, slowly rewriting his life.

"System, open my panel."

The system had already explained in detail how to use its functions, so Peter gave the command mentally.

The next second, a virtual interface appeared in front of him—only he could see it.

[Name: Peter ParkerLife Script: Superman (originally The Lizard)Character Template: Standard SupermanAbilities: Absorb stellar energy (Awakened), Man of Steel (Locked), Super Strength (Locked), Super Speed (Locked), Super Brain (Locked), Super Hearing (Locked), Super Vision (Locked), Bio-Field (Locked), Heat Vision (Locked), Ice Breath (Locked)…Weaknesses: None (per host's request)Points: 0 (Points can be exchanged for character templates, items, etc.)Points Shop: Not yet unlocked]

"System, you're freaking awesome!"

Even though most of Superman's powers were still locked, just seeing that huge list was enough to blow Peter's mind.

And more importantly, the most vital ability—absorbing stellar energy to boost his power—was already awakened. That meant all the other abilities would eventually activate once he soaked up enough sunlight.

What made Superman truly powerful was his ability to absorb sunlight and grow stronger over time.

Right now, even though Peter didn't feel any different physically, he knew deep down that once he got in the sun, his body would start leveling up at a speed normal people couldn't even imagine.

Eventually, he'd unlock every single ability that came with the Superman template.

"Maybe it won't be long before I get to feel what it's like to fly for real!"

Everyone dreams of flying—and now, Peter was actually going to do it. No tech, no suits. Just his own body, soaring through the skies.

He could even fly through space one day.

"…But what should I do with this spaceship?"

Then he looked at the spaceship in front of him—created by the system to match the new version of his life. For a moment, he had no idea what to do with it.
