In the end, Peter still didn't move the spaceship.
Even though it was created by the system, this thing was no different from a real spacecraft.
He could totally use it to leave Earth, fly through space, and explore the universe.
But for now, since his Superman powers hadn't fully awakened yet—and since he obviously didn't know how to fly a spaceship (high school definitely didn't offer that course)—he decided to just leave it where it was.
"I'll give you a proper home once I've fully awakened my powers."
After hiding the entrance to the basement with some heavy stuff, Peter muttered to himself as he looked down at the ground.
Then, without looking back, he turned and left the warehouse that had just completely changed his destiny.
"Dang, it's already evening? Guess I'll have to wait till tomorrow to soak up some sun."
When Peter stepped outside, the sun was already setting.
No matter how excited he was, no matter how badly he wanted to stand in the sunlight and absorb that energy to activate his powers, he had no choice but to wait.
Trying to calm his excitement, Peter headed back to the wooden cabin where they were staying.
"Peter! Perfect timing. Come eat dinner," Aunt May called out as he walked in.
"Thanks, Aunt May!"
Maybe it was because his body was changing, but Peter was really hungry.
He practically sprinted to the table and started wolfing down the food Aunt May had made.
Aunt May looked at him with a warm smile and gently scolded, "Slow down, honey. No one's gonna steal it from you."
Peter didn't stop eating until the food was basically gone.
Not because he was full, but because he'd nearly finished everything on the table.
"I'm gonna go to bed now. Goodnight, Uncle Ben, Aunt May."
Even though he still felt a little hungry, Peter didn't say anything. He just quickly said goodnight and rushed off to his room like he couldn't wait.
"This kid's acting kinda weird today…" Aunt May said, watching him hurry off.
"Probably just worn out from cleaning that warehouse," Uncle Ben replied casually, not even looking up from his newspaper. "When I was his age—"
"Enough with the paper—just eat already."
Aunt May, clearly annoyed by his nonchalant tone, snatched the newspaper from his hands and tossed the last plate of sandwiches in front of him.
"Okay, okay, I'll eat! Just let me finish this article first—"
Meanwhile, back in his room, Peter was lying in bed—but he wasn't even close to falling asleep.
Instead, he pulled up his system panel.
"Seriously, where did this system even come from? It literally changed reality without anyone noticing."
Before, he'd been too hyped about getting Superman's powers to think about it.
But now that he'd calmed down, he realized just how insane this whole thing was.
Messing with reality itself without leaving a trace? That's not something just anyone can do.
And on top of that, this was the Marvel Universe.
This world had beings way beyond universal level. There were even people on Earth who could see both the past and the future.
"Whatever. Everything I have came from the system anyway. No point worrying about where it came from."
"I'd rather figure out how to use it properly."
He quickly gave up trying to figure out the system's origin and started digging into its functions beyond just the Superman template.
"Looks like I can trade points in the shop. So, yeah, points are clearly the key here."
"But how do I open the shop? And how do I get points?"
Thanks to all the web novels he'd read in his past life, Peter quickly realized that points were the core of any system.
With points, he could get more powerful items and abilities.
Like upgrading to an even stronger Superman template, which would probably cost a lot of points.
According to the panel, right now he only had the basic Superman template—the same power level as the one in Man of Steel.
And waiting for his body to slowly evolve over time? That could take forever.
After all, in the comics, Superman had to absorb energy from the sun for tens of thousands of years before he became Golden Superman.
[Points can be earned in two ways: 1) Completing missions from the system, or 2) Changing the life paths of people in this world. The more important the person, the more points you'll earn by altering their fate.]
[Once you earn 1000 points, the system shop will unlock.]
As if responding to his thoughts, a new message popped up in his mind.
It not only explained how to earn points but also how to unlock the shop.
"Change the fate of famous people, huh…"
"So, if I convinced that arrogant guy not to make a metal suit and got him to learn magic instead—would that count?"
Peter smirked. He was already starting to get a sense of what he needed to do.
"Change people's fates? Easy. I probably can't be as noble as Superman, protecting the world out of kindness…"
"But if I go the Homelander route and just make the world more chaotic—well, that's easy enough."
Right now, Peter was already imagining how people would react once his powers fully awakened—and they got a taste of what it meant to face "Homelander-style Superman."
Let's be real—who hasn't fantasized about doing whatever they want with superpowers?
"Man, I can't wait for tomorrow…"
Caught up in his excitement for the day ahead, Peter eventually drifted off to sleep without even realizing it.
Knock knock knock!
"Peter! Wake up and come eat breakfast. After that, we've got some weeds to clear out at the farm!"
Bright and early, while Peter was still half-asleep, Uncle Ben's deep voice came from outside his door.
"I'm coming, Uncle Ben!"
Turns out, even if you become Superman, you still gotta help clear weeds with your uncle.
"Hey Peter! This side's yours, that side's mine—let's see who finishes first!"
The huge farm looked more like an endless grassland right now.
"When the heck are we ever gonna finish this?"
Staring at the waist-high weeds all over the place, Peter felt like crying.
"Thank god pulling weeds doesn't stop me from soaking up sunlight."
Right now, under the blazing sun, Peter could feel it—the Superman blood in his veins was starting to stir!
