"An ultimate spell… from the Guild Master?"
Campione Su Mo's eyes widened slightly, sensing the significance of what was just said.
"Don't tell me… he actually passed on that Super Magic to you?"
"Exactly," replied Fairy Tail Su Mo with a nod, his expression full of pride.
"Our guild's most secret technique—one of the Three Great Fairy Magics—[Fairy Law]. I've learned it!"
"That's amazing! This gives us a powerful trump card!" Campione Su Mo exclaimed, clearly excited.
[Fairy Law]—one of the legendary Three Great Fairy Magics of the Fairy Tail guild. A sacred spell of light that judges darkness. It targets everything the caster perceives as an enemy and obliterates it mentally and spiritually. It's said to be as divine as it is devastating.
What makes it even more terrifying is its scalability: the stronger the caster, the more overwhelming its power becomes.
Even against gods who defy natural laws—like the Herectic Gods of Campione's world—this spell might just work.
In fact, Campione Su Mo mused, even an Ultraman from the Tiga world could probably wield this magic. After all, it's still a light-based ability. The compatibility should be just fine.
Su Mo from the Campione world clapped his hands, cutting through the commotion.
"Alright, alright—you two done playing? You're not kids. Let's get back to business."
At his words, the two glowing orbs—who had been gleefully testing their new magic—immediately reverted to their human forms.
"It's my turn next, isn't it?" said Su Mo from the Ultraman Tiga world, still a little reluctant to stop. "Don't worry. When I come back, I'll be Earth's very own Ultraman."
Now that he had mastered the ability to turn into light, he was filled with confidence for the mission ahead.
"Hold on," Campione Su Mo raised a hand, looking serious. "Even if you can become light, don't let your guard down. Remember, the Tiga story begins with two monsters appearing at once. If you're not familiar with Ultraman's combat techniques, you might just get pummeled."
"That's true," added Fairy Tail Su Mo with a nod. "Also, in the pyramid there are three stone statues. If you bond with the wrong one and fail to merge with the real Ultraman Tiga, the power you get might be a lot weaker."
In the Tiga world's lore, there's no M78 Nebula or the Ultra Empire. Instead, there are the ancient giants of light and the dark giants. According to official background, Ultraman Tiga is the strongest among them.
So if Su Mo happened to merge with a different statue—one that isn't Tiga—he might end up as a weaker giant of light.
"And if you turn into a weaker Ultraman, and Daigo isn't able to transform for some reason," added DanMachi Su Mo after thinking it over, "facing two monsters alone could get really dangerous."
"Good point." Tiga Su Mo immediately took their warnings to heart.
"So when I become light, I need to make sure I fuse with the strongest statue—Ultraman Tiga himself. That's how I'll unlock the greatest potential."
He paused in thought, then added, "And ideally, we should also let Daigo merge with one of the other statues—something slightly weaker. That way, we'll both be giants of light and can fight side by side. The odds of defeating both monsters would rise sharply."
Daigo, after all, carries the ancient warrior gene—not Tiga's specifically—so technically, he can fuse with any of the statues. Giving him one of the lesser ones would still allow him to transform and become a valuable ally in the early stages of battle, improving their chances of survival.
"Sounds like a solid plan," said Campione Su Mo, nodding approvingly. "But… you're stealing Daigo's Tiga statue and making him help you with monster-fighting? Is that even morally acceptable?"
To that, Tiga Su Mo responded with the utmost righteousness:
"Childish thinking. We're fighting for Earth, for humanity. How could we get hung up on such petty things?"
"Vision, my friends, vision… Honestly, we're all the same person, but your perspective is far too narrow compared to mine."
He finished with a sigh, as though the world around him was hopelessly mediocre and he alone bore the burden of virtue.
"Pfft! If we weren't literally the same person, I might have believed that nonsense," muttered DanMachi Su Mo, rolling his eyes.
He never aspired to be some kind of villain—but a saint? Yeah, not happening. He'd contribute to the world if it made sense, but calling it his life philosophy? Even Su Mo himself wouldn't buy that.
"Believe it or not, I do," shrugged Tiga Su Mo with a grin. "Anyway, preparations are complete. Just wait for good news from me."
After discussing everything and checking for loopholes, the group nodded in agreement.
"Safety first!"
"Survival is king!"
"We'll await your triumphant return!"
With those blessings ringing in his ears, Tiga Su Mo waved his hand and stepped out of the foggy dimension.
…
…
Ultraman Tiga's world.
As consciousness returned, Su Mo blinked his eyes open. Before him stood the familiar sight of the TPC Headquarters.
"Chief Strategist! What are you doing here? The captain's called a meeting!"
A passing member of the Victory Team—Daigo—spotted him and immediately greeted him with respectful enthusiasm.
Su Mo wasn't just a senior member of the Victory Team—he was also the one who had personally recommended Daigo for the team and mentored him during his early days.
As a result, Daigo had immense respect and gratitude for him.
"Oh? Little Megumi called a meeting?" Su Mo raised an eyebrow, looking a little surprised. "Is something urgent going on?"
"Little Megumi…"
Hearing that intimate nickname slip from Su Mo's mouth, Daigo's curiosity was instantly piqued. He was dying to gossip—what exactly was the relationship between Captain Megumi Iruma and Chief Strategist Su Mo?
Why were they on such familiar terms?
Both of them were famously single. And they had known each other for years.
If something had quietly blossomed between them, it wouldn't be the least bit surprising.
Still, Daigo didn't dare ask directly. All he could do was pretend he hadn't heard anything unusual.
"It's about that suspected relic from the ancient supercivilization—the one that created the holographic projection. They've deciphered most of what it was saying!"
Daigo's eyes lit up with excitement as he shared the news.
For some reason, he had a strong gut feeling—whatever that ancient device was trying to say, it was absolutely true.
