Within the Mist Realm.
The other versions of Su Mo had long been waiting eagerly for the return of the one from the Ultraman world.
The moment he reappeared, they didn't ask any questions. Without a word, each of them stepped forward and placed a hand on his shoulder.
In an instant, their shared power flowed into him.
"You guys, seriously…"
The Ultraman-world Su Mo was caught completely off guard.
"I was actually planning to mess with you all a little—tell you I failed, build some tension, and then drop the punchline. Spent ages thinking up the perfect line too."
Hearing that, the one from the DanMachi world rolled his eyes.
"Messing with yourself... is that supposed to be fun?"
"Tch. It would've been fun if I actually pulled it off."
Ultraman-world Su Mo made a face and shrugged. "Anyway, mission complete. I've fully obtained Ultraman's power. With this, you all should basically be invincible in your own worlds now, right?"
As the others finished syncing up with the new power, they joined in the conversation.
"More or less," the Su Mo from the Campione world said after a moment of thought. "Though to be fair, in the later stages of that world, the Campiones do become absurdly strong—some of them can blow up asteroids or fight across solar systems. But realistically, their destructive power caps at collapsing continental shelves or razing the planet's surface. Still not quite planet-busting."
"In terms of raw power, Ultraman easily crushes most of the Campione gods. But when it comes to utility and variety, divine authorities from that world are a lot more flexible."
Ultraman's beam techniques might be flashy and potent, but the divine authorities from the Campione world had much more versatility and creative applications.
"My side's similar," the Su Mo from the Fairy Tail world chimed in. "Acnologia—the Black Dragon—is probably no match for this new power. But if Zeref ever achieves his White Wizard form… that's a different story."
Even though the legendary dragon who could supposedly end the world was terrifying, he still didn't reach planet-destroying levels. What truly concerned Su Mo was Zeref in his ultimate form—a being said to have infinite magic power and the ability to control both time and space.
A foe like that would give anyone pause, even with Ultraman's power.
"But with me around, there's no way Zeref's getting that form," he added confidently. "I'm not the same weakling I once was. Stopping him before that happens won't be a problem."
"My world? Even easier," said the DanMachi-world Su Mo, spreading his hands. "It's a setting where gods can't use their powers. I'm basically untouchable."
Then, his expression grew serious as he turned to the others.
"But there's one thing you might be overlooking. As strong as Ultraman's power is… it's not built for prolonged battles."
"If you rely solely on it and get too overconfident, you could end up crashing and burning."
It was a valid warning. The transformation into Ultraman required constant energy. Using skills only drained it faster. No matter how strong Ultraman's attacks were, the short time limit remained a glaring weakness.
"You're right," the Ultraman Su Mo nodded. "Even though we've fused all of our powers together, and our Ultraman form lasts much longer than the original host's… it's still time-bound."
Then he smirked.
"And that's exactly why we planned the next step."
"God-slaying," the Fairy Tail-world Su Mo said, picking up the thread.
"Becoming a God Slayer—that's how we overcome our combat limitations in base form. The physical enhancements we gain from that transformation also help extend the duration we can wield Ultraman's power."
After hearing the final part of the plan laid out, the Su Mo from the Danmachi world finally had a moment of realization.
"No wonder I'm me—such a meticulous and flawless plan!"
He gave himself a big thumbs-up, absolutely beaming with pride.
So strong!
So brilliant!
A true masterpiece—crafted by none other than himself.
"…"
"…"
"…"
The other three Su Mos stared at him blankly, speechless.
Since when was their skin this thick?
After the brief moment of silliness, the Su Mo from the Campione world turned serious and looked over at his Danmachi counterpart.
"According to the original timeline, it should be my turn to return and begin the God-slaying phase. But now that you're here… we might want to make a slight adjustment."
"Huh?" the Danmachi-world Su Mo raised an eyebrow. "Is there even room for me to step in?"
"Of course there is," the Ultraman-world Su Mo immediately responded, catching on to the idea.
He gave the other a firm pat on the shoulder and asked with a grin,
"Did you forget? The experience from our Falna—God's Blessing—is shared too!"
"—!!"
The Danmachi Su Mo's eyes flew wide open.
"You mean to say… all the experience points you gained from killing those monsters… they were shared with me too?!"
Hiss—!
He couldn't help but suck in a breath of shock.
Golza. Melba.
Those weren't your average monsters—they were creatures even nuclear weapons couldn't destroy.
Their power rivaled that of gods.
And those two had just been taken down by his Ultraman-world counterpart.
Given the nature of their God's Blessing, all that combat experience would now be recorded in his own Falna too.
Which meant—he'd just received a massive windfall of experience far beyond anything he could have imagined.
