~Paige~
I can't remember the last time I have done this much shopping in one day. Even Nicole never made me endure this much shopping, but at the same time, I can remember times where we got close. The only thing that ever held us back from more shopping was food. Shopping was fun with Adrian though. I didn't feel uncomfortable with him; he gets excited to see me in new clothes, it is just as much a treat to him as it is to me. I was happy to be home. We had our master bedroom covered in shopping bags.
"I'll put everything away, you just grab what you want to wear while I put everything up," Adrian said as he started to change shirts. I found myself staring at his tattooed chest; he's just so perfect.
"There will be plenty of time for that after our date," Adrian said looking at me with a devilish smile.
"Not fair…but okay," I said with laughter as I grabbed a few shopping bags with nice choices for a date.
"I'll go get ready," I said before I walked into the bathroom.
I couldn't believe the reflection that I saw staring back at me. I felt so sexy, which isn't a word I have ever used to describe myself. The red satin brought excellent color to my pale skin, and it fit like a glove. I threw on some mascara, a little blush and some lip matte, and let my blonde curls hang freely. I chose a classic long black dress that looked like I had it painted on, with a slit on the leg, close to my thigh. I slid on the heels to match, took a deep breath, one last look in the mirror, and I stepped out of the bathroom. Adrian was putting on his shoes but when he looked up he froze.
"Good goddess, we might not make it to our date after all," he said, rising to his feet, stepping closer and closer towards me, until his lips were pressing into mine. His pocket started buzzing, disrupting our brief moment of passion.
"Hmm…yes?" he said while clearing his throatand adjusting his pants.
"Thank you...we are on our way," he said before hanging up the phone and replacing it in his pocket.
"Our transportation has arrived," Adrian said while shooting me a flirtatious grin.
"No flying tonight?" I asked. Clearly I was joking.
"If you wish," he said while holding out his elbow to escort me.
I stayed frozen in place.
"I am only kidding, Paige. We are not flying," he said with a grin that exposed his adorable dimples. His smile made me blush, but I trusted that we wouldn't fly and I hooked my arm through his. When we walked out the door I was in awe at the beautiful carriage that awaited us. Two beautiful black horses with a carriage covered in purple lights. Did I tell him that was my favorite color or was this just coincidence? Adrian helped me into the carriage, his eyes never leaving me. I caught myself staring at him once he got settled next to me in the carriage, and he must have noticed. He flashed that sexy little smile, the one that exposes his dimples, and I swear my heart skipped a beat.
How can someone be so perfect?
The carriage drove through the downtown areawhere business seemed to be booming at night for restaurants, clubs, and karaoke bars. There were people that were riding old school trolleys, and the carriages that were driven by a bicycler, and several people on the streets going from bar to bar.
As much beauty as there was to see, everyone seemed to stop to watch us as we rode by, as if we were royalty.
"Are you gonna tell me where we are going now?" I asked sweetly.
"And ruin the surprise? We are almost there I promise," Adrian said just before he kissed my hand.
"Okay, what if I guess?" I asked batting my eyes to show my sarcasm.
"I still won't tell you," he said with laughter.
"Worth a try," I said as the carriage came to a halt.
"It is there," Adrian said, pointing to the water.
"The beach?" I asked with excitement, not caring how overdressed I was.
"The marina, our boat is there," he said pointing towards a beautifully lit yacht.
It had a name across it, Obsidian Seahorse.
"Boat, my ass," I whispered.
Adrian giggled and escorted me out of the carriage, and we boarded the yacht.
I couldn't stop looking around in wonder at how unique and elegant everything was.
The music was just so beautiful.
Two musicians played violin instrumentals of popular hits that just sounded so much better the way they played it.
"Monsieur Beauchamp, I have your table just this way," said an older, portly man with salt and pepper hair, wearing a suit and gloves.
"Thank you, Albert," Adrian said as we walked to our table. Adrian helped me into my chair, and I couldn't help but blush at being treated like this. Another gentleman appeared at the table with a bottle of red wine, and filled our glasses. Then the older man, Albert, came back to our table to pour something from a wine decanter into Adrian's wine. He nodded at Albert in approval, then Albert left the table.
"Can I ask?" I asked him with a curious grin.
"Yes, it's blood, from donors of course. I don't kill anyone unless it is necessary," he said before sipping from the wine glass.
"Does the wine even affect you?" I asked.
"Yes and no. It takes the edge off the cravings by itself, but I have yet to become intoxicated by alcohol unless blood is mixed with it," he said, looking down as if ashamed.
"I'm not gonna judge you. We don't have to be the same for me to love you," I said.
"You can still love me, knowing what I am?" he asked curiously.
"Vampire or not, you are still Adrian," I said as I sipped my wine.
"I am a hybrid. There are more than just vampires in this world, but I do not want to put too much on you at once," he said.
"A hybrid?" I asked.
Adrian nodded.
"David and I have wolf blood. We were not accepted by any pack, nor any clan. They thought of us as mutts, many years ago, but we created our own family of misfits over the years and now we employ both shifters and vampires," he said before finishing his drink.
"And to think kids used to call me crazy for believing in ghosts and witches. Maybe there is truth behind every legend," I said as my mind thought back to all of the creatures of myth I had heard of in stories over the years.
"I have yet to see a ghost, but witches, I have met plenty," he said with laughter.
Adrian stood up. "Dance with me," he said while holding his hand out.
I accepted, and rose to dance with him, not really knowing how to dance. Luckily the slow jazz played by the violinists was easy to dance to, and I loved being this close to Adrian. Shortly after the song we danced to ended, we had plates set on the table. The plates had steak and stuffed tomatoes,my mouth watering at the smell of the food I was so eager to taste. The flavors were so perfect.
"I cannot remember the last time I had steak," I said while wiping my mouth with a napkin.
"It is very tricky to prepare it just right, but the chef here has mastered it," he said while finishing his second glass of wine. I joined in and finished my glass as well.
"I have had such an amazing time. You didn't have to do all of this, but I am glad you did," I said, blushing.
"The night isn't over. I have one more surprise for you at home," he said with his sexy, flirtatious, grin. I licked my lips slowly. I could only imagine what kind of surprise he had for me at home.
"Well, why don't we get out of here then?" I said with an unintentional moan at the end.
"As you wish, Vixen," he said huskily, his eyes glowing even bluer until almost silver. Adrian stood up, adjusted his pants and cleared his throat. He took in a few deep breaths with his back turned to me, until turning to face me with his eyes back to their original blues.
"Yeah, let's get the fuck out of here," he said in a low husky voice followed by laughter.
"Mmm, yes sir," I said as I stood and wrapped my arm through his. We got back in the carriage and headed for home.
"Ready for your surprise?" he asked with a raised eyebrow and a seductive grin.
"Now?" I said in shock, thinking that my surprise was more sexual.
"Now," he whispered into my neck with one hand sliding under my dress and up my thigh. I nodded my head and bit my lip in anticipation. Adrian slid his hand further up my thigh, and slid down my panties. Then he shows me a pretty purple butterfly, and fastened the magnets of it to my panties. I gasped in excitement and shock, and he slid my panties back up. I arched my back and lifted my bottom to help him put them back on me. The cold metal from the butterfly pressed against my clit. I let out an unintentional moan and pressed my thighs together. Adrian pulled the remote to the butterfly out of his pocket, and tossed it in the air and caught it a few times, each time making me think he will push the button.
"You are so mean," I whined, tensing my thighs.
"Oh?" he said in shock, pressing the button. The vibrations sent a wave of pleasure through my body. I clenched my thighs together, squeezing the butterfly. My breathing became heavy, as I tried with great effort not to moan.
"Shhh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh, shh," Adrian whispered in my ear, turning off the butterfly. I steadied my breathing. I was just about to cum before he switched it off, but I think he knew that.
"Wouldn't want to give the coachman a show," he said softly with a smile. I nodded and started giggling like a schoolgirl as my breathing started to steady.
