The dungeon tower. As the name suggests it is a tower which contains the dungeons. The dungeon tower is not unique to the Titans guild.
Dungeons are special worlds created by the source core of gaia in order to train the inhabitants. But the dungeons are spread across the whole world and sometimes are at a good distance from the city safe zone.
So major guilds in order to train it's members have invested heavily in the dungeon relocation token acquired from the origin shop.
The dungeons allocated to the guilds by the gaia federation are relocated and arranged according to tier and levels in the dungeon tower.
The point to be noted is that the tower only contained low scale dungeons that supported solo and small teams. As for the large scale, and open world dungeons they were jointly managed by the guilds and were not relocated from their original position.
There were 10 floors in total in the tower. First floor has tier 1 dungeons from level 1 to 10. Second had tier 1 levels 11 to 20.
Like that each two floors from 1 to 10 had tier 1 to tier 5 dungeons.
Tier 5 dungeons are only used by the guild leader or the visiting tier 5 experts. Also they are very rare so tier 5 dungeons available are only a few.
The number of dungeons in the tower decreases as the tier increases as the relocation token gets expensive every tier.
Still the tower held numerous dungeons to satisfy every member of the guild.
Alan stood in front of the tower and gazed at its Marvel. It had a base diameter of 140 meters and stood 110 meters tall.
He went inside. It was bustling with people mostly guild teams and some guild members walking around recruiting teammates.
Alan walked around observing the floor. In Front of each dungeon to its side had a huge screen which recorded various clear time leaderboards.
Alan headed over to the reception to inquire about some things. Receptionist asked Alan as he saw him "how may I help. Is there something you want to know?"
"It's my first time in the tower. I want to know the procedures before entering the dungeon"
"So it's your first time here… Let me explain through the procedures first."
The receptionist took Alan to a counter and pointed there to a scanner and display "when you enter the tower you must first use your guild token to scan your identity there. And the display will show the dungeons that are available for you at the moment. Most of the dungeons here support the raid of 5-10 teams in parallel so you don't have to worry about availability. Some of the popular dungeons may have a waiting time if there are too many people applying. Also those with S level and higher contract have preferential treatment and will get to skip the rank. Don't worry there are many dungeons here, even if you get a long queue you can try out other dungeons."
"Okay"
Alan waited for a while to let the team in front finish.
He walked forward to the interface. The receptionist guided him through the steps on what to do.
When Alan took out his guild token receptionist was surprised as it was his first time seeing a token with that particular design.
He thought he had a high level contract because S tier and higher level contracts provided special patterned guild tokens.
Alan put his token on the scanner. After that he had to scan his hand to confirm his identity.
His identity was then displayed on the screen and Alan pushed the proceed button on the screen.
The receptionist who saw his contract tier on the screen flabbergasted. Never in his dreams would he have guessed that the youth standing in front of him is such a big shot.
Alan was oblivious to all of this and proceeded to check various dungeons. With his SSS level clearance he would not need to go through the waiting list before attempting a dungeon.
He browsed through the list
Goblin warrior encampment - level 1-5
Clearance record: Nightmare (solo) - 15 minutes 48 seconds.
Electric mice cave - level 5-8
Clearance record: Team Swastika - 18 minutes 22 seconds
Night wolves plains - level 5-10
Clearance record: Team Nightingale troops - 17 minutes 02 seconds.
...
Alan browsed through the list. He found out there are a few noteworthy solo clear records other than team records.
The code name Nightmare particularly caught his eye. He had many solo clear titles to his name.
Alan browsed a little more before settling for the woodspirit valley dungeon which had wood spirit foxes and treants. The level range of the dungeon is levels 2-6. Means weakest ones are of level 2 and the strongest boss is of level 6.
'According to my brother I have a peak damage output enough to face a level 8 boss so this would be manageable' Alan thought. This was one of the advantages of maxing out the stats in each tier.
He selected the dungeon and he was asked whether he would use his name for the leaderboard or want to input a code name.
He chose to put in a code name. He typed in the name 'Raven'. It sounds kinda cool and mysterious.
"Alright what's next?" Alan asked the receptionist.
She suddenly broke out of the daze. She then composed herself and took Alan to the dungeon he had selected.
"This is the dungeon you have selected. Next time when you select the dungeon check out your guild communication watch. It would have the position of the dungeon you have selected." Said the receptionist.
"Okay". Alan then stood in front of the dungeon waiting for the already occupied teams to come out.
