"Tia, I'm off for a date. Bye~"

Phyllis blew a sweet kiss to Kristia, closed the door and went to enjoy the date (sucking blood). For a boyfriend, letting your vampire girlfriend suck some blood isn't too much at all!

"Bye-bye." Kristia casually responded, her golden eyes behind her lenses fixated on the space window's screen.

"Found you."

A smile formed on her lips. As a talented graduate student in the Magic Engineering department, discreetly hacking into the school's surveillance system was basic operation.

After closing the space window, she opened the monitoring page on her phone. Kristia rose from her seat and walked to her closet to pick out clothes.

"I'm not sure if he found my graduate card; I'll dress a bit plain just in case."

Thinking so, she quickly selected a gray dress and a light blue long-sleeved knit jacket, paired with a pair of white shoes. She spun around in front of the mirror.

"I look good in anything."

Praising herself, she tied her golden hair into a ponytail and left the dorm.

Su Yuchen put away his phone while wandering around the school. Xia Yushuang played with her phone during class too, huh?

Walking along the sidewalk, he didn't immediately head to the graduate school. His cautious nature born from 'misfortunes' made him not forget about Kristia's expertise. If she spotted him heading straight to the graduate school through surveillance, she'd surely have doubts.

Wouldn't it be suspicious for a freshman to directly go to the graduate school?

Observing and memorizing the school's environmental route while avoiding potential 'misfortunes,' Su Yuchen discovered the school's love sanctuary—a maple tree grove.

Stepping onto the pathway in the maple grove, the sound of maple leaves crackling underfoot echoed. Couples were nestled intimately here and there—mostly humans, then non-humans, and fewer hybrids. Among them, human displays of affection were more subtle, while non-humans were bolder but still maintained decency.

As for hybrids… uhh.

Human-faced, beast-bodied, and beast-faced, human-bodied couples… there was no desire to watch at all.

Spring had arrived, everything was reviving… Oh, wait, it's autumn now!

"Oh, dogs are seasonally in heat, usually in March, May, September, and November."

Shaking his head to clear some semi-useful knowledge, Su Yuchen quickened his pace, and then—

Snap!

A crisp sound echoed as a thick branch fell from a height of twenty meters. Su Yuchen quickly dodged, and after the branch hit the cobblestone ground, it made a dull thud.

Then, various panicked and cursing voices erupted—

"Damn!"

"Fuck!"

"Who the hell shook the tree?!"

Su Yuchen lowered his head and hurried forward, muttering softly, "Sorry, sorry, I shouldn't have come, disturbed your beautiful moment…"

He breathed a sigh of relief as he left the maple grove. Both humans and non-humans had strong physical qualities; they shouldn't be scared to the point of not being able to stand up after that sound.

Slowing down again, Su Yuchen arrived at the gymnasium. Walking along the gymnasium wall, after dodging a basketball flying out of a window… he suddenly hastened his steps.

"Okay, teacher, I'll send the relevant application materials to your email this afternoon. Thank you for your help," Kristia expressed gratitude to the housewife professor on the other end of the phone.

"Not a problem. You're one of the best students I've had. You're not far behind even though you're just in your second year of grad school. Since you also want to stay at the university, I won't miss out on talent like you."

"It's all thanks to your guidance, teacher." Kristia replied humbly.

"Okay, how about dinner tonight?"

—Duang

"Ah… I mean, okay!"

"Tia, what's wrong?"

"Nothing, teacher, just bumped into someone… Alright, see you later." Kristia hung up the phone and, seeing Su Yuchen about to pass by after bumping into her, she took a step and grabbed his shoulder. "Classmate, don't you know how to apologize after bumping into someone?"

'Damn virgin freshman, why walk so fast? It hurts a bit where you bumped into me!'

But…

He smelled really good.

Last night's scent wasn't an illusion.

A human male that smelled outrageously good!

Kristia forcefully controlled her breathing, absolutely not letting this formidable but clueless virgin notice anything unusual.

Sucking blood was a minor matter; the crucial thing was to determine if he had found her graduate card.

After returning to the dorm last night, she had a restless night, afraid that the Sky City's Magic Adjudication Bureau would knock on her door the next second to arrest her.

Not because she feared those guys, just that her goal hadn't been achieved yet.

Luckily, nothing happened overnight.

It didn't matter if he saw her true face. He clearly took a frontal photo of her last night but didn't report her, indicating he had another motive… but if he found her graduate card and realized her disguise and identity information, that would be disastrous.

"Sorry…"

A voice as faint as a mosquito's.

Kristia blinked, and through the hand placed on his shoulder, she clearly felt his body stiffen rapidly.

Then, she watched in amazement as both sides of his face blushed quickly at an alarming speed.

???

Yesterday, he seemed like a 'I'm very experienced' sleazy guy, didn't he?

Now, what's with the embarrassment… Oh, he didn't recognize me, which means there's a high chance he didn't find my graduate ID.

But still, can't rule out the possibility that he's acting.

"What did you say?"

"Sorry…"

Even softer, now with a tremble in his voice, and his stiffened body shivering, as if he might cry the next second and then faint right away.

This demeanor… seems familiar.

In the next moment, Kristia suddenly realized. Isn't this the behavior of a shy, inexperienced virgin who hasn't had much interaction with the opposite sex from childhood to adulthood?

Speaking softly, being shy, having a blank mind and feeling awkward, not knowing what to say.

Tsk.

Indeed, a virgin.

But why didn't he show this side last night?

Did he not see me as a woman before?

Adjusting her glasses, Kristia released her left hand from Su Yuchen's shoulder, lest he faint in the next moment.

"What did you say?"

She spoke again, this time with a teasing tone. Weren't you so impressive last night? Now, why this demeanor, little virgin.

If we were more familiar, I'd surely capture this side of you and make it your lifelong embarrassing moment.
