"Uaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!"
Roy sprinted at full speed, driven by sheer terror, with the others chasing behind him.
Roy: "Aaaaaa!!! This place is terrifying!!!!"
He screamed loudly, unaware that as he dashed forward, the path behind him sealed shut like a moving labyrinth.
The others had no choice but to take a right turn as the main path closed off. They were quickly separated from Roy and Cris, prompting them to stop.
Glen: "Wait, where are Roy and Cris?"
Noa: "I don't know... Oh no, we're inside a haunted maze!"
Lyn: "Wait, what?!"
Noa: "This haunted house is built like a maze. Sometimes the walls shift to confuse guests, making them go in circles."
Ken: "Then what should we do about Roy and Cris?!"
Glen: "We need to find them, but no splitting up, okay?"
Everyone nodded in agreement and followed Glen.
Lyn: "Noa, haven't you been here before? You should know this place."
Noa: "Yes, but this time it's completely different! The layout, the rooms, even the types of ghosts are all new!"
Ken: "Can we even get out of here?"
Noa: "Don't worry, Ken. Of course we can! Through, uh..."
Lyn: "Uh... where, Noa?"
Frustrated, Lyn snapped at Noa, but Glen turned around to calm them down.
Glen: "Enough. We'll look for Roy and Cris and get out of here."
Lyn: "Yeah... we don't really have another option."

Meanwhile...
Roy had stopped in a damp hallway with a dreadful atmosphere. The overhead light kept flickering, amplifying his fear.
He glanced nervously in all directions as he walked, trying to reassure himself no monster would jump out.
Roy: "Huuuuh... where am I? Glen? Cris? Noa? Lyn? Anyone? This is too creepy..."
Roy sped up, hoping to find an exit. But without noticing, a wall behind him slid open, and something strange crept out.
Roy: "Ugh, I need a tissue to wipe off this sweat... where is it?"
He searched all his pockets. Suddenly, a tissue appeared from the side, and without thinking, he grabbed it.
Roy: "Oh, thanks."
Then he froze.
He was alone.
He turned slowly to see who had handed him the tissue. His heart pounded violently in panic.
It was a spider-like creature with a human torso. Roy's mind nearly short-circuited.
Roy: "AAAAAAAA!!!!"
He took off, running as fast as he could to escape the monster. Even after some distance, he didn't stop, sprinting desperately through the corridor.
Just as he began to slow down, someone grabbed him.
Roy: "AAAAA!!!! DON'T EAT ME!!!"
---
Elsewhere, Glen and the others were making their way through the maze.
Glen: "This place is terrifying. Doesn't anyone have a phone to check GPS?"
Lyn: "We're Veyron, Glen. We're not allowed to carry phones. It might distract us from missions."
Glen: "Oh right, I forgot. What about any phones around here?"
Noa: "Not to worsen the mood, but haunted houses usually don't have any phone signals or networks. It's part of the experience."
Lyn: "Ouuuugh, I hate haunted houses."
Ken: "Stay calm, Lyn. We'll find Roy and Cris, then get out of here. Okay?"
Ken gently placed a hand on Lyn's shoulder, reassuring her. Glen and Roy exchanged awkward glances.
Lyn: "I know, but we can't just wander like this. What if we lose them for good? I'm really worried."
Ken: "Everyone would be. But remember, this is a haunted house. If something goes wrong, we can ask the staff to find them."
Lyn: "But how, when we're lost too?"
Ken: "Good question. You see those blinking lights? Every few steps there's a hidden camera up there."
"WHAT?!"
Everyone was stunned by Ken's discovery.
Ken: "Why so shocked, Noa? Don't you come here often?"
Noa: "Yeah, but I usually see screens in corners, not cameras in lights. Maybe this is a new setup. I didn't recognize it."
Lyn: "Kind of shocking that the one who invited us knows nothing about the layout."
Glen: "She's right, it's not like you to be clueless. You usually guide us through everything."
Noa: "For some reason, I can't this time. The organizers changed too much."
Ken: "Honestly... I think it's kind of fun!"
Lyn: "What?!"
Ken: "I mean, the tension, the surprise monsters, searching for missing teammates... it's a bit thrilling."
Noa: "Okay, your tastes are weird."
Lyn: "Noa, you should take a look in the mirror."
Thud
They continued walking until Glen suddenly stopped, making everyone bump into him.
Lyn: "Glen, what is it?"
Glen rushed ahead to where Roy was lying on the floor.
Glen: "Roy!!"
Roy: "No, don't eat me! I taste bad, aaah!!"
Just as Glen got close, something from the shadows dragged Roy away.
Glen: "ROY!! Where did you go?!"
Lyn: "Where did he vanish?!"
Noa: "And what dragged him?!"
Ken: "I... I don't know, this is scary."
Lyn: "Let's try something."
Lyn released a surge of electricity to illuminate the area, but it wasn't enough.
As they looked around, Roy slowly emerged from the shadows. His head was bleeding, his eyes pale, and his skin turned green. He moved like a zombie.
Roy: "Haaaaaaaaa..."
Glen: "Oh no... what happened to him?!"
Roy growled eerily, terrifying the group. When they approached, he suddenly tried to bite Glen, who quickly restrained him.
Roy thrashed violently.
Noa: "What happened to Roy? Did he become a zombie?!"
Ken: "I think so..."
"Haaaaaa..." "Haaaaaa..." "Hwaaaa..."
They were surrounded by more eerie groans, coming from every direction.
Glen: "What is that?!"
No one had an answer.
Soon, figures resembling Roy in the same zombie-like state emerged from all sides.
Ken: "What the heck is this?!"
Glen: "Noa, are they all fake?!"
Panicking, they huddled in the center. Roy, still restrained, eventually slumped in place.
The horde of zombies closed in.
Noa: "Don't come any closer or I'll use my powers!"
She released her water ability, but one of the zombies grabbed her arm, leaving a green mark on her skin.
Noa: "AAAAAAAA!!! I'm turning into a zombie! AAAAAAA!!!!"
