The sub-AI had begun to complete the remaining four humanoid OS of these units, and it looks like they are called A-13 Echo. There are only five of them, and all of them are girls in the shape of 3–5-year-old kids.
At that time, while those units were being made, Saito asked me,"Why did you make them all like that? Their frame structures... and what about the material for making them? It's not like they can be formed out of thin air."
I replied,"I can't tell you that yet, but I will in the near future, I guess."
"Then how many other types of units are there?" Saito asked."There are many," I said, "and maybe some new ones too. While I was away, they might have made new models as well, like these ones."
"Well, these units are kind of troublesome because they develop their own personalities. That is why there will be no other new humanoid of this unit type in the near future. As you've heard from my and Nova's previous conversation, the other humanoid units consider me their master and follow my orders without question. But they also have their own lives—kind of. Even if they are created here to behave like humans, their structure is similar to that of humans. That's why I don't consider them as objects. You can call them helpers or squads made to help me. I don't consider them objects in most cases, for sure. I have allowed them to live their lives as they want while following my orders."
While we were chatting, Princess Seyra asked,"So, you are saying that she is your daughter and not at the same time?"
Then Mili jumped in, saying,"As much as I have understood the current situation, he has four other kids."
"W-what do you mean!?
Seyra, were you listening to them talking or did you just not want to hear?"
"I did, but I didn't understand most of it."
"Well, you can say we are the same, but it looks like Saito understood more than us... or he did everything?"
The girls were having their own conversation, while Saito and I were talking amongst ourselves.
"So, what is Nova? Some sort of AI?"
"Yes," I replied. "Nova is an AI built to maintain this and other factories. There are sub-AIs that oversee the manufacturing of these, and Nova oversees them."
"So you're saying there are other things aside from these humanoids? I have seen the robots which are helping here, and then there are those humanoids too. Wait... are there separate factories for robots too? Because as far as I can see, this place is only for humanoid manufacturing. Am I wrong?"
"No, you're right, but I can't show you the other factories for now, so please don't ask me to show them."
"But I want to see them! This place is like a dream for people like us, and you're making those dreams come true here!"
While we were chatting, Princess Yuri asked me,"What are those? A list of humanoids?"
"Huh? Those are different types of humanoids which are being built here."
"What are Assassin, Adventurer, Merchant, Explorer, and Spy units?"
"As the names suggest, they are built for those specific purposes."
"You have built Assassin and Spy units too? And what are Adventurer, Merchant, and Explorer units? What are their jobs?"
It took me some time to explain them, but I didn't mention many things or many other units, even though they were asking.
Then,"Master, these units are now completed."
Then with Nova, there were five kids.We have known one of them...
---
They all have different appearances and personalities. The first who came to the mansion has silver hair and red eyes by default. Then one has light green hair and emerald eyes, one has light blue hair and golden eyes, one has black hair and black eyes, and the last one has brown hair and eyes. One of them was 5 years old, two of them were 4, and the remaining two were 3, respectively. Now Ryo, as their father, names them—
"W-Wait, what do you mean to name them? What else, right? Names... names. How about Ai, Umi, Leona, Nyx, and Marin?"
Ai – the oldest with black hair and eyes, age 5 years old
Umi – one with light blue hair and golden eyes, 4 years old
Leona – one with brown hair and eyes, 4 years old
Nyx – with silver hair and red eyes, 3 years old
Marin – with green hair and emerald eyes, 3 years old
Was Nyx not the one who came to our mansion? I forgot to ask, but how did she do that? They have teleportation built into them. They use teleportation and some other magic, so doesn't that make them humans? asked Princess Yuri.
"Yeah, kind of."
So, Ai is the silent type personality, Umi is a bit of a tomboy, Leona is very energetic, Nyx tends to act as a child—but they are technically children, so it doesn't matter—and lastly, Marin is a bit shy. Then we returned to the real world with the kids and began our discussion and asked Princess Yuri, Seyra, and Celestine to refrain from using carriages for coming here.
I had sent spies to that count. If he dares to make any moves to harm them, I will be informed in advance. But I am sure it will take time. Despite the warning from the king, the count will wait or take help from other nobles who were also involved in his shady businesses. So I sent spies to every one of the nobles present in Belfort Kingdom, and there are other spies in other nations too.
Then I was going to get some things from a store, but the kids were following me. I guess they needed some essential things as well. But the quality of the clothes and toys here might not be that good, so I had asked Nova to take care of it as well. She will build an entire factory for everything the kids might require, like clothes, toys, candies, sweets, desserts.
Saito was trying to recreate the sweets and pastries from our past world here as well, including other foods. Saito told me to take the kids to show them around the area. I guess I can do that. I took them with me while Saito teleported the carriage back to the royal palace. Princess Yuki, Princess Seyra, and Celestine will be staying with us today, I guess.
Then I was walking with the kids when Nyx said, "Daddy, ups please!"
"What, ups? Oh, you want me to lift you while walking? No, I can't do that."
Then she became teary. Again, I gave in and lifted her. The others also wanted to be carried. I said, "One at a time," except for Ai—maybe because she was the oldest among them.
I was planning to give the kids their own sub-AI to look after them when I am absent. We went to a shop that sells sweets. Well, they were pretty decent...
