I had created humanoids of various kinds, including adventurers, you know.
And you're saying to have those golems act as adventurers?
Yes, there are no rules saying adventurers must be human or anything.
Yeah, right. And you used this loophole like this, huh? Well, anyway, what rank are they right now?
Red, I guess?
Red? We are only Yellow, you know.
Does that matter? No, it doesn't.But well, whatever.
"But first, Ryo, there might be some kind of problem."
"And what is that, Princess?"
"Well, you see, to build a nation, you must have permission from, um... the Church."
"And why is that?"
"Well, if the Church does not agree, then no one will recognize our nation as a nation. And, well, Saito and you are planning to introduce a new co-monarchy system, right?"
"That is, including a nation which accepts all races as their citizens. So, there might be some trouble with that. The Church might consider us as non-believers or claim that we are God's enemies."
"So you're saying that we must get permission from the Church, right?"
"Yes. And if we don't, then they will consider us as enemies."
"Yes. And also, one nation—the Holy Land—is, um, like a complete empire of the Church, where the Pope is the king and there is no imperial family. And then also, the Church has influence over every nation there is."
"So they're not satisfied with their own land, is that right? Then how can we get their permission?"
"To do that, we must get the permission of the Pope or someone of equal rank, or from a High Priest."
"So we can do that after completing the foundation of our nation, right?"
"Yes, I guess."
Then Saito asked Ryo, "What are you planning to do exactly?"
"Oh, nothing much. You'll see. Oh right, I forgot to tell you. You said that you want to use a co-monarchy system in that nation with me, right? So I will do that. But make sure no one knows my identity. What I mean is, I don't want the people to know that the co-king is me. You can say that I do the job in the shadows or something like that."
"What? But why?"
"Well, I don't like being pestered by the likes of annoying people, such as nobles and all..."
After some discussion, we decided to send a request to the guild to send an official...
And after some time, the guild sent one of their officials. That person's name was Riya. She was the Guild Master of the Belfort Adventurers Guild branch.
"So, you people are saying that you wish to hunt in the Nether Land to increase your rank? Hm… are you like out of your mind?"
"No, we are completely fine, so you don't need to worry about that."
"No, I was sent here as an inspector but That place is unsafe. We die there,
Guild Master."
"You don't have to worry about that. If we are in danger, we will use teleportation to escape."
"Wait—you can use teleportation?"
"Yes, we can."
"Will you agree to come with us?"
"Um… alright. So, when will we be going then?"
"After two days. First, I need to complete some documents in order to do this."
"Alright then, Saito. Let's go and train, shall we?"
"Wait, what?"
Then we entered my alternate dimension.
"So, Ryo, what kind of training are we going to do?"
"Well, we will be fighting manually. I got the information on every kind of monster in the Nether Land, so we can try hunting them here first. You will fight 100 Red Rank, then the number will multiply by 10 in the next rank."
"Wait, what!?"
"Then begin. Oh, and you can use any weapon you want. The weapons are on the left side. Alright? And I will teach you some other things while we are at it..."
Two days later, we were heading toward the Nether Lands. I was with Saito and three adventurer-type humanoids. Their names were A1, A2, and A3. Well, it's not like I can name every one of them or anything—naming is not an easy job.
When we arrived at the entrance, the Guild Master was already there along with some other guild members. They were there to take notes on our hunts. If we managed to defeat one Platinum Rank monster, we could be promoted. But we had different plans in mind.
After that, we entered the forest. It was a vast forest. According to Nova, it covered around 9,734,244 square kilometers. If we were on Earth, that would be pretty big—but I'm planning on expanding it anyway, about three to four times, when we start construction.
While we were walking, we saw some Silver and Red Rank monsters. The humanoids took care of them easily. Then, after some time, we saw eight Platinum Rank monsters. I took down four of them in a few slashes and stored their corpses in my storage.
Then it was Saito's turn. I had taught him some techniques, including how to use swords, and had given him a weapon. He used a katana and ran to hunt the monsters. His opponents looked like gorillas and apes—then some looked like trolls. Saito used the Air Step technique, which I had taught him. After some time, he was done too.
Everyone from the guild staff was in shock and surprise.
We returned after storing all the corpses in my storage. If we flood the market with their corpses like this, it will break the market, so we only gave two Gold Rank and one Platinum Rank monster corpses. The reward was around 96 million gold coins, which is 960,000 platinum coins, for the Gold Rank monsters, and 56 billion gold coins, which is 560 million platinum coins, for the Platinum one.
"Wait, is this the right amount?" I asked.
According to the Guild Master, the monsters we gave them had various magic stones that can be used to enchant weapons and armor. Nations would even pay more than this to buy such things. Their fur can be used to make high-quality clothes resistant to many types of magic affinities.
Other uses of the monster materials include:
Creating high-durability magical barriers using the bones and hide.
Crafting advanced alchemical potions from their blood and internal organs.
Making monster-core reactors to power magical machines or golems.
Using their claws and teeth to forge special anti-magic weapons.
Breeding magical creatures through experimental rituals involving monster DNA.
Then we returned to our mansion and waited for the official guild notice for our promotion…
After three days, the official notice from the guild had arrived with the rewards, and the guild had announced this information two days ago. And now we have many letters, including our guild cards. The official had come to deliver our cards and rewards with the letter.
Everyone was having a headache while me and Saito were discussing what we should do first. We were having our breakfast. Everyone was having their breakfast. The kids were eating bread and jam when Mili asked if she could also have jam and bread.
"Why are you asking? It's not like those things are only for kids."
Then after eating breakfast, we gathered at the hall. I asked the maid to take the kids to play. Then we began our meeting. Princess Yuri, Princess Seyra, and Celetine were looking at the letters.
"What do the letters say?"
"Well, you see, these letters are from other nations. They are inviting all five of you to their nations officially. And the Holy Land is the first one. They have sent letters to all five of you."
"Huh, just burn them. We don't need to reply to them anyway."
"But it might cause trouble."
"We can handle that. Shall we move to our next topic?"
"What should we do first?" Saito spoke.
"I guess first we need to surround the land of Nether Lands, then kill the deadly monsters, then clear some parts of the forest where we will lay the foundation of our nation. It will take time, I guess."
"No, it will not," I answered. "So get ready to move tomorrow to select the area of the foundation."
After that, I moved with Saito to the alternate dimension to discuss some things. He said, "We need to have two palaces if we are going to use the co-monarchy system. Then we will do it as you want—to act in the shadows without anybody noticing you. For that, you even threatened the guild staff to make you another guild card, a fake one, so that you stay out of these messes, right?"
"Yes, and they refused at first but agreed at a point."
"So first, you said that you want to cover the Nether Land, right?"
"Alright, here is the map of the Nether Land."
We discussed the details, and I asked Nova to get ready to do the job. I had told her to do this:
First, make a boundary which can't be destroyed by any means possible.
Then clear the strong monsters and leave some be. And add some barriers in those monster habitats and make sure that in those barriers no humans can enter.
The barrier will be divided by adventurer ranks. One can only enter a specific barrier if his adventurer rank matches that area.
Then deploy a barrier on this world for those gods and their lackeys.
Then begin the extermination of the monsters and learning the best spot for laying the foundation of a nation.
After that, expand that land by five times at most, which will mean changing this world's structure itself, which means the caretaker god of this world will no longer have any authorities on this world.
Next morning, when we went to see the area of the Nether Lands, there was me, Saito, the kids, Pia, Sai, Celestine, Princess Yuki, Princess Seyra, Zoya, Mili, and Silf. Other than them were Nova and the construction robots and drones, including other humanoids.
Then Saito said, "Have you completed the barriers around the land I mentioned?"
"Of course I have. The monsters can't leave their regions, and it is divided like you had asked. I also made sure that they don't die. Wildlife is important too, after all."
We all were in front of the borders. The borders were huge, and there were no monsters near us. Then we went to check the best place to start the construction. It won't take much time—maybe less than 5 days.
But then Saito said, "Ryo, there is a problem."
"What is it?"
"The border. Well, other nations might have noticed it by now, and they might send their scouts here."
"They can't enter this place before the official announcement, so don't worry."
"And what about the guild branch?"
"I have talked to the guild master about it too, and she agreed."
"How? You might not believe me… she is an elf."
"Wait, what? She is an elf?"
"Yes, that's right. When I asked her about a nation where her race could live without any issue with other races, she thought I was joking. So she will be coming here to see after the constructions are completed—and I'm sure she'll agree."
Then we chose the area to begin the construction.
"Ryo, do you have a moment?"
"Yes, what is it?"
"I do remember the map from last time, but… the current map is, um, quite bigger than last time, isn't it?"
"Oh, yes. I expanded the lands of the Nether Lands."
"You did what????"
Step-by-Step Construction Process 1. Dividing the Land for Co-Monarchy
First, the Nether Lands were split into two equal regions.
Each half would be ruled by one monarch: Ryo (me) and Saito.
Two grand palaces would be built—one in each region.
The central city, shared between the two palaces, would act as the capital zone.
2. Laying the Foundation
Nova and the construction drones began by scanning the land for stability.
Once the base soil was treated, the foundation stone platforms were set.
These stones were magically reinforced to resist natural disasters and enemy attacks.
3. Building the Roads
Roads were made from high-quality cobblestones, strong and smooth.
Wide main roads connected the two palaces and central marketplace.
Smaller residential lanes branched out like tree roots, leading to homes and shops.
4. Constructing the Palaces
Each palace was designed uniquely:
Saito's Palace – Bright, open architecture with traditional human design. Surrounded by gardens, training fields, and military barracks.
Ryo's Palace – Hidden with advanced magic-tech. Blended technology and ancient style. It had an underground core system and hidden chambers for covert operations.
Both palaces had:
A throne hall, meeting chambers, libraries, and guard towers.
Personal rooms for each ruler and their close aides.
5. Building the Houses
Thousands of residential units were built for future citizens.
Houses were of different sizes to accommodate families, couples, or solo adventurers.
Materials used: fire-resistant wood, mana-infused bricks, and magic-glass windows.
Each home had:
Clean water supply
Sewer system
Light-crystal lamps powered by ambient mana
6. Establishing Markets and Shops
Multiple market districts were built with shops selling food, weapons, potions, armor, herbs, and magical items.
Blacksmith zones, enchanter corners, and alchemist plazas were given special facilities with fireproofing and ingredient storage.
7. Creating the Farms
Fertile lands were selected near water sources.
Automated farming bots handled plowing, planting, watering, and harvesting.
Crops included:
Wheat, rice, vegetables, and fruits
Magical herbs and mana fruits for potion crafting
Barns and fields for livestock like cows, goats, and chickens were set up.
8. Defensive Infrastructure
Nova installed invisible barriers and energy shields around both palace zones.
Watchtowers with sentry drones were placed every few kilometers.
Emergency teleportation pads were built for quick travel and evacuation.
9. Other Essential Facilities
Hospitals powered by healing spells and staffed by medical bots and healers.
Schools and training halls for young children and aspiring adventurers.
A guild hall for adventurers, managed under the co-monarchy's supervision.
Public baths, recreation centers, and libraries were also planned.
10. Final Touches
Magical streetlights were placed that would glow at night.
Trees and flowers were planted along the roads and parks for beauty and balance.
Mana fountains were installed for both water supply and city aesthetics.
Everything was done in perfect synchronization between Nova, construction bots, and the humanoid workforce. The entire process, which would normally take decades, was completed in less than five days.
The items in the shops, such as potions and weapons, were basic ones, and potions would not be given without permission. The herb fields would be used to harvest and trade with the Alchemist Guild for their research purposes, and nothing here could be stolen.
After that, we selected places to put the dungeons and labyrinths. After doing that, the foundation was almost complete. The Guild Master and others had come to see the results. They were quite shocked.
Then all shouted,"Are the two of you out of your mind!? There's no country like this!"
"Isn't it a good thing, then? We're better than them."
"You fool! It means they will wage wars with us!"
"Saito, you also helped him with this, didn't you? Didn't you think about what might happen?"
"Well, it's not complete..."
"So what? It's not complete yet?"
"Well, we need hot springs too, so yeah… that's just what remains."
"No! We all have to do something about—"
"W-W-W-Wait a minute," the Guild Master spoke. "What is happening here?"
"As you can see, this is the nation where I have invited you—including other races—to live."
"You were not joking about that?"
"Yes, I was not."
"Alright... give me some time to think."
"Then first, what we need is merchants."
The humanoid merchants I had sent to other nations would return tomorrow while spreading the news about this place and the products we would sell in the shops. The products were already made—jewels, clothes, cosmetics—everything. The humanoids had access to the things they needed to manage.
"So, you are saying that here most of the things will be operated by golems?"
"But isn't that kind of... not right?"
"How so?"
"Well, we are taking the job opportunities away from our citizens."
"No, we are not."
"How so?"
"You see, the citizens will work under them. We need trustworthy people in every aspect from the start. It's not like the humanoids will manage most of the shops. New shops can be opened if someone wants to do so."
"Alright..."
"So what should the name of our nation be?"
"Name... name... name... Wait, but is our nation a kingdom or an empire?"
"Well, I don't know myself. The difference is that a king rules over one nation and has dukes or other nobles under him. But an emperor is above a king—he rules over multiple kingdoms and has kings, dukes, and other nobles under him."
"So what is our nation supposed to be???"
