Then Saito spoke, "No, there might be some issues. Like the way you expanded the land—it affected the world. It's sort of a miracle. And making a kingdom in the Netherlands gives even more trouble, like no human or other race can even dream about entering in this region. But we are making a nation here. It's sort of an issue, you could say."
"Don't worry, I have everything sorted out."
"So, what will we do first?""Let's visit King Belfort."
After some time, we arrived at Belfort Kingdom's palace, at the meeting hall. The usual people were present there, including the prime minister.
"So, what is it that you want to discuss about?" Princess Yuki spoke."Well, um, it is to discuss about the announcement of Saito's and Ryo's new nation.""Wait, ah hmm, so you are really going with the co-monarchy system you had talked about last time?""W-Wait, what do you mean about the announcement?""The kingdom development is, um, completed. And you won't believe it, but um... the land has been expanded.""Y-Y-You are joking, right? We discussed this matter only two weeks before!""But it is true...""You completed the construction of the kingdom in just two weeks while obtaining platinum rank from the Adventurer's Guild? And what the hell do you mean the land expanded, huh...?""Why not come with us? We will show you.""Show what exactly?"
Saito teleported them there while Ryo went to take care of some things.
"Nova, so are those people taking the bait?""Yes, master. They are behaving as you have planned.""Great. Now let's wait for— the downfall of these annoying bastards."
The announcement of the kingdom was postponed for a few days due to some reasons. And the reason was the Church, obviously. Officials from every branch of the Church, and the Pope, Cardinals, and High Priests were coming, including nobles of other nations.
Well, we know their intentions anyway. We were watching these things live—what they were planning. It was me and Saito. We had told others about it so they would be ready.
They might wage war, but I am ready for it anyway.
"Are the two of you sure about it? But both of you are predicting two different things. Like, according to Saito, the Church might even consider enemies out of Belfort. And Ryo is saying that they won't be able to do anything to Belfort.""We are not saying different things. I am saying that they won't be able to land a foot in Belfort to wage war.""What does that mean, Ryo?""They will arrive here in two days, and they are all bringing their armies with them.""Yes, they are. Every human nation which is coming is bringing their armies with them. Or should I say, they are bringing our citizens for us for free.""What do you mean? Wait... Yes, that's right.""Hmm, that might be a good idea.""What is it the two of you are scheming about.....?"
"Nothing, you will see what we are talking about right in two days, so don't worry."
"Oh, and Saito, what will you do—"
"What do you mean?"
"Well, you don't want the others to know about your identity, right?"
"Yes, and?"
"Will you change your appearance?"
"Yes, I will wear a mask to cover my face."
"A mask?"
"Don't worry. See in two days..."
Two days later
Everyone was present at Eldo-Nexus—the name they had decided on was a combination. Saito said that when we are using a co-monarchy system, then why don't we use a combined name for our kingdom?
"What do you mean?"
"I mean that a name by the combination of both our regions or, umm..."
"I understand what you are trying to say. So, what name are you thinking for the part you will be ruling?"
"Um, Eldoria."
"So for me, it will be Neo-Nexus."
"So by combining these two—Eldo-Nexus."
"But what does it mean...?" asked Princess Yuri and Seyra.
"I chose Eldoria for the reason that Saito had planned to make a nation where everyone can live peacefully regardless of their race. And I chose Neo-Nexus after seeing Ryo's wonder—the nation is built on the knowledge of tech and magic, which is not possible for anybody."
"I don't get the part about Neo-Nexus, but I do understand what the two of you really mean..."
At the present, we were seated at the palace of Eldo-Nexus, where everyone from Belfort was present, and me and Saito were sitting on our thrones respectively. The thrones were different. Saito's throne was of gold, while mine was of black obsidian. I preferred this design. Well, the thrones' appearance—both were made up of the same material anyway.
After a few hours, they arrived at their location. Usually, their guests are told to rest, but Saito and Ryo had different plans for them. And the carriages had enchantments which would remove their fatigue.
When they saw the palace, it was bigger than any nation's palace. They were chuckling while moving forward. One humanoid butler came and guided them. They were very pleased by seeing the things they had seen or had heard from their spies...
They were guided by a humanoid into the palace and were asked to sit on the seats in front of them. The seats matched their numbers. They were surprised at first, but seeing that there was no way they could have known their exact numbers, maybe they arranged them while we were arriving here in the carriage.
Then the maid brought some desserts and drinks for them. They also saw that the Belfort royal family were present there. All of them were murmuring, "Did the Belfort Kingdom form some sort of alliance with them or what?"
After they had their snack, one of the cardinals and the high priest stood up and started speaking. Saito and Ryo had already noted that they had not shown any proper manners when they greeted an imperial/royal family. It was true that their kingdom was yet to be recognized, but then they should have at least introduced themselves or at least greeted them.
They came in and started speaking. Well, I would have killed them instantly, but I wanted to see exactly how far they might go.
So here are the things they said: "We couldn't recognize this place as a kingdom, and you must hand over this land to the Holy Nation, including every resource in it." It included people.
Saito denied their proposal.
Then the pope stood up. "Do you know who you are talking to? And how dare you sit on a throne in front of us?"
"Well, you are standing in our kingdom, and we are its rulers, so of course we can sit on our throne. And one more thing—you all have come here with your armies. Does that mean you are declaring war on us?" asked Saito.
"Like you people can do anything in that matter. You stand no chance in front of us, the believers of God."
"Maybe you are right. But it is you people who do not know about what you are talking about. Nor do you know your own strength. First, I refuse any demands you fuckers might have. So get lost."
"How dare you use such vulgar tone in front of us! We will exterminate you all!"
The high priest took out an orb. It was a communication orb. It was also found in the dungeon ruins. He ordered them to start moving forward.
"Looks like it is my turn," I said. After that, I teleported there and teleported the slave soldiers and wiped out the existence of the remaining enemy using Inferno. Then I returned to my throne.
They all were watching what had happened in those few moments. Everyone there was surprised—except Saito.
"W-wha—who are you two?"
"The ones who will rule over these lands."
"Don't toy with us! We still have the authority to declare your kingdom an actual kingdom."
"Oh really? We don't think so."
Then with a wave of my hand, a girl in her fifteens appeared there. She had golden hair and eyes.
"S-s-Saint! Why are you here!?"
The Saint started speaking without paying any attention to them. "I acknowledge Eldo-Nexus as a kingdom, under my authority as Saint, and would like to announce the evil deeds of the Holy Nation in the false name of God."
"Not so soon!" the pope shouted while holding a summoning scroll.
I had cut off the livestream because I had known it was not for the others to know. I had streamed the Saint's declaration of acknowledging our kingdom already, and currently, Nova was already streaming about the evil deeds of the Holy Nation while recording the current situation.
The Saint shouted, "Don't—!"
"Too late, you wench. I had already known that there was a hidden trump card of the Holy Nation—named the Hero. They needed the Saint to summon a hero in each generation, and when they had served their purpose, they would kill them. But the current Hero was present there for around three hundred years or so. I had thought on this and reached a conclusion: he was not a normal Hero, and he had done many evil deeds with the Holy Nation."
Then the Hero appeared. Nova had played the recorded video of the Saint. The Holy Nation had started the livestream again.
"Sir Hero! These people have defied us, and the Saint has joined them. Please kill them! And you can have the Saint or any woman present here as your reward!"
The Hero looked around the hall, then summoned a sword while saying, "Today, I finally have the Saint... and the princesses of the Belfort Kingdom."
I stood up to see the strength of the Hero. He rushed at me while swinging his sword at me, but I blocked his sword with my hand and blew his head off with a single flick on his head.
Everyone there was horrified at the current scene.
