Chapter 13 - Yin-Yang Dragon Spirit (3)

As time passed, the huge illusory door slowly faded away. In its place stood a 4-meter-tall dragon with two large wings and a fearsome aura, like that of a true king. Half of its body was black in color, while the other half was snow white. It gave off a strange elegance that made people instinctively drawn to it.

All the dragon lizards around Alvin lowered their heads in submission when they saw the Yin-Yang Spirit Dragon in front of them. The dragon blood in their bodies didn't even allow them to have a single thought of fighting this mighty presence before them.

The black and white dragon scanned its surroundings coldly and landed before the young lady, who had already opened her eyes and was staring at the dragon with glowing eyes.

Her eyes had now turned a purple color, just like Alvin's at that moment. It appeared as though the birth of this bloodline spirit had affected her as well.

The black and white dragon nuzzled its huge head against the young lady affectionately for some time before it looked toward Alvin, who was leaning on his axe with a pale face.

"This is…" the young lady opened her mouth to say something, but Alvin had already collapsed onto the ground at that moment. He could no longer hold his consciousness any further.

It was only then that the young lady looked around her to see a large pile of Earth Dragon Lizard carcasses piled around her. Her mind nearly went blank after seeing this.

The main reason she had entered this Tier 2 forest was to secure the egg of these Earth Dragon Lizards to make them her spell beast. They had highly pure dragon blood in their bodies, and if she provided some assistance, they might have been able to transform into true dragons.

But now, the same beasts she had regarded with such high esteem were piled up like chopped vegetables around her…

......

A month later, inside a large hospital…

Alvin opened his eyes hazily. His mind was blank at that moment. When his vision cleared, he saw a small black snake staring at him from his chest.

"Fuck…" Alvin's instincts kicked in, and he suddenly jumped off the bed like a monkey. But he didn't land properly and instead fell on top of a table behind the bed in a sorry state.

The sound from the room alerted the people outside, and the young lady from before entered the room with a beautiful middle-aged woman following behind her.

Alvin jumped up from the ground and asked the young lady, "Hey, blockhead. Where am I? And why is there a snake in my bed?"

The young lady rolled her eyes. "Of course you are in a hospital. Also, don't call it a black snake. It is a dragon bloodline spirit. I've already given it a name. Call it 'Blacky' from now on."

"Where is my axe?" Alvin asked.

"What? Why do you want it right now?" the young lady asked in slight panic, afraid he might start chopping people without any reason.

"I don't feel secure without a weapon by my side," Alvin replied honestly.

"Young man, you don't have to worry. This is the best hospital in White Rose City. You are completely safe here," the lady doctor beside Alvin said.

Just as Alvin was about to say something, he suddenly noticed the young lady's eyes, which were now purple like his. "How did your black pupils suddenly turn purple in color?"

"We can talk about it later. You rest for a bit. I have to talk to Jane about something," the lady doctor smiled at Alvin and dragged the young lady with her out of the room.

Alvin scratched his head and sat on the bed. Suddenly, he felt something on his shoulder. When he turned to the side, he saw a completely black, small snake staring at him with its obsidian eyes from his shoulder.

He picked up the black snake into his arms and touched its small head with his fingers. "You look more like a baby snake than a dragon to me."

After teasing the small snake for a while, he placed it on his shoulder and looked at his right hand. The Life Wheel bloodline tattoo that had merged with the young lady during the summoning of the black and white dragon had now returned to his hand. There seemed to be no change with it from before...

In the office room of the lady doctor, the young lady and the lady doctor were sitting opposite each other.

"Do you believe me now, Mom? He looks 90% similar to that idiot Alin. Their names are also similar, one is called Alin while the other is Alvin. Just like Alin, he also has two bloodlines, one of the Nyxborn family and the other of the Everhearts. The only difference is that he has a cursed Nyx bloodline and the Life Wheel bloodline, while Alin has the divine Nyx bloodline and the Dragon God bloodline," the young lady said to the middle-aged woman before her.

The lady doctor looked at her daughter with a small smile. "My dear Jane, Mom also saw one more difference."

"What's that?" Jane asked with a frown on her face.

"Even though that kid called you blockhead, you didn't react. It's as though you're giving him some special privileges," the lady said with a sly grin.

Jane blushed. She slammed the table angrily and said, "Be serious, Mom. I'm talking about something important here."

The lady doctor nodded and said, "Well, this kid is not Alin. That's one hundred percent sure. I already inspected his body yesterday. His magic core was of the lowest F-rank. If he really was Alin or was somehow related to him, at least one of his cores might have been of the SSS-rank. A pure dragon heritage is not a joke."

"So the only remaining joining point between them is their Nyx bloodline and their similar appearance. Well, I can only point at one person about this issue," the lady doctor said with a shrug.

Jane's face stiffened. "Don't tell me you are suspecting Uncle Draven of having an affair behind Aunt's back?"

The lady doctor nodded. "I've told Uncle Magnus about this. He will be here by evening. Let's wait for him to make a decision."
