When Stacy walked over, Lisa had just walked away... They didn't get a chance to meet, mark glanced at Stacy and frowned slightly "something wrong?"
"What?"
"Your eyes"
"Oh, something got into my eyes and I cried"
"Really?" Mark wanted to touch Stacy face but she quickly tilted away slightly before clearing her throat "I need to head back to the company"
Mark nodded, putting his hand down "okay, I'll drive you there"
"Thanks"
Mark got into the car and Stacy got in the passenger seat, she was curious, wondering what was going on between Lisa and Mark but didn't dare to ask
Few days later, Mark company and Stacy father company were throwing a launch party
Cassie and her family attended
Cassandra and her husband Michael were also there with sam
Michael wasn't exactly with her and was busy drinking at one table, Sam looked between his mother beside him and his father far from him "something went up between you and dad?"
"Of course not" Cassandra passed a fruit juice to his front "don't drink anything you see"
"Okay... Can I go find Aunt Cassie"
"Uh, sure"
Sam got up and went to look for Cassie while Cassandra got up and walked to Michael "you gonna keep this up?"
Michael looks away from her as if he didn't see her causing Cassandra lips to twitch "I'm talking to you"
He still ignores so Cassandra shrugs "Sam went to meet Cassie, I'll look for where to stay tonight so you watch him today" Michael frowned but didn't protest while Cassandra walked away
Though everyone knew Cassandra was married, the men still looked at her with those lustful eyes, some even actually walked up to her and for once in a long time, Cassandra talked to this men, she was purposely doing it to make her husband angry
The reason he was angry at Cassandra was because everyone saw him as a housewife and too obedient, they mocked him and Cassandra joined in the laugh
Even though she said it was just a harmless fun, he didn't see it that way
Seeing Cassandra being all close with this men made him annoyed so when one got touchy and Cassandra didn't protest,he had enough,he walked over from behind as Cassandra was laughing and talking with a few people,this man hand wrapped around her waist, Michael walked to them, grabbed the amn hand and pulled it from Cassandra waist, pulling her away,it was quick that no one expected it, even Cassandra who has been trying her best not to look back at Michael in the beginning was taken aback
He dragged her away to a isolated spot and,his grip was painful but Cassandra didn't mind since he still came to her,he let go once they reached the halls, because the banquet happened to have a hotel up and they had a room there
Michael pushed Cassandra against the wall "do you have to use that means to grab my attention" he sounded so pitiful like some child feeling sad
Cassandra smiled,stood on her toes and wrapped her arm around his neck "took you long enough"
Michael didn't pull away but looked away "what if I didn't come?"
"You'll always come,that's why you're my husband" he looked right into her eyes before sighing" yeah,I always come"
Cassandra hugs him "you know I sorry right,that it won't happen again"
Michael wraps his arm around her waist slowly"I know"
Mark had been looking for Stacy all around, he also asked the father but he just shrugged saying she might be tired and want to rest, seeing she wasn't around he called her phone, it rang for a while but no one picked, he called for the third time before the call was answer
