As Marco hand loosened on hers,she quickly pulled away and walked out of the house
Cassie was annoyed and bored today because she didn't have anything to do,she had checked on the companies yesterday and didn't want to do so today,she had wanted to chat Adrian or even call but decided against it,she was just drowning in boredoms when the door bell rang,the maid opened the door and Cassie who was sitting on the step listened in and heard Nian Nian voice "is Cassie around?" "Wait,let me check"
The maid closes the door and was about to go up but saw Cassie sitting on the step,before she could say anything "let her in" the maid bows and goes back, opening the door for Nian Nian "please have a seat,miss would be here shortly...do you want anything to drink?" Nian Nian who was already sitting down looks up at the maid "just water,make it lukewarm" the maid nods before leaving,after the maid left, footsteps could be heard from upstairs,it was Cassie coming down, Nian down already stood up and looked towards the direction,when she saw Cassie she couldn't help but run over,she looked like someone who just saw her long lost relative or something
She hugs Cassie who is taken aback,she wanted to say something but just let the girl hug her in silence,after a few seconds,the maid came back and saw this scene,she didn't say anything and simply set the glass cup on the table before leaving,she had no thought in mind and just left
Cassie could feel Nian Nian crying,even if she personally wasn't close to Nian Nian,she felt bad seeing Nian Nian cry "what happened?" Nian Nian pulls away, wiping her tears while sobbing "I...I broke up with Marco"
Cassie blinks not knowing what to do but soon took the one of Nian Nian hand and used her free hand to pat Nian Nian back "what happened?"
Still sobbing,Nian Nian explained "today is our third year anniversary as you know"
'no I didn't but continue' Cassie thought
"And we had planned a week earlier on how we want to celebrate it but today Marco spend the whole morning and almost all the afternoon with kenzy that witch,just for a stupid award nonsense" even if she was sobbing,the anger in her tone was so strong
Cassie memories of this body was only important stuff and not all tiny details so she wasn't aware of kenzy but something told her that the owner of the body knew kenzy
Cassie leads Nian Nian to the couch"drink some water and calm down" Nian Nian obeyed quietly,she looked like a kid who had just finished crying and was still being coaxed by the parent
After drinking the water, Nian Nian leans on Cassie "Cassie I want to drink...do you have alcohol"
Cassie frowned slightly, creasing Nian Nian head "alcohol won't help, cry all you want, I'm here, alcohol is dangerous to the system so just cry till you fall asleep, I'll hold you" hearing Cassie words Nian Nian thought to herself 'no wonder Lisa loves you' then she shivers slightly, pushing the thoughts away,she closed her eyes and later sleep took over
Cassie who saw the maid passing by called her in a low voice,the maid comes over, bowing politely
"Prepare a room,so I'll take Nian Nian in" the maid nods and goes upstairs
Cassie still keeps creasing Nian Nian hair, looking deep in thought
