Chapter 35 - OPRS: Chapter 35

The Spade Pirates eagerly watched Ace, waiting for his order to clash with this new Shichibukai.

They didn't know that among the Amazonian warriors on the ship, one figure's gaze was burning.

His logic was correct. The Spade Pirates and Ace had appeared. This world did have a traceable pattern, and the future could be foreseen.

He seemed to hear some faint voices, but quickly broke free from that sensation.

His expression became even more excited. That was Observation Haki. He had reached the threshold. Even more exciting was Ace's appearance.

Ace was a crucial figure. Aside from his personality and abilities, his background and relationships alone were enough to warrant such attention.

For example, his grandfather was Garp. This old soldier wouldn't pay attention to other people's opinions or ideologies. He had dedicated most of his life to an ideology and belief: the Marines.

But when it came to Ace and Luffy's opinions and ideas, the old man would calm down, carefully consider and refute them. Only when he couldn't refute them—for example, when they were determined to become pirates—would he use his iron fist of love to teach them a lesson.

Secondly, his father was Gol D. Roger, the Pirate King.

How much influence did the Pirate King Roger have? Rayleigh, Buggy, Bartholomew Kuma, Shanks... if they heard that Ace had been captured, they would probably risk their lives to save him.

This is why, until the moment of execution, the Marines didn't dare to reveal Ace's parentage, only revealing it at the last moment.

And Whitebeard... Alistair believed that Whitebeard didn't care about Ace's identity. He would save any of his sons if they were captured by the Marines. That was the magnanimity of the Yonko, Whitebeard.

"Don't kill anyone." Alistair instructed the Kuja warriors beside him.

His voice wasn't loud, but the Kuja warriors nodded slightly. After seeing Alistair's training methods with the Devils Luck Pirates, they started to respect him a little more.

Besides strength, talent also commanded respect.

Before Alistair finished speaking, a figure, shorter than him, shot up from below, appearing above everyone.

He shook his head. He had said it so many times, don't jump, don't jump, don't jump, but many still lacked basic combat instincts. This guy's physique was indeed strong, but in front of the opponent's arrows, wasn't he like a target?

The Amazonian archers, who had been poised, saw a target suddenly jump up. They wouldn't be polite. They released their arrows, aiming at the figure who had suddenly jumped.

"Hee hee, useless, our fish-men's skin is naturally stronger than humans'. Your arrows can't even pierce my skin... Whoa, whoa, whoa... It hurts, it hurts, it hurts..." Before he could finish speaking, several blood blossoms bloomed on Wallace's body. The skin that was supposed to defend against muskets was completely unable to block the ordinary arrows of the Amazonian warriors.

These were arrows without Haki. Their strength and the potential of the snake bows alone were enough to kill Wallace, who was considered strong among the fish-men, on the spot.

The only reason he didn't die was Alistair's instruction, "Don't kill anyone."

"Wallace!" The Spade Pirates were shocked. 'Teacher' Mihar didn't hesitate. As the team's sniper, no one even saw him take out his musket. A shot had already been fired. After firing, he didn't look, immediately reloading. An Amazonian warrior fell.

They could hear the sound of the bullet and defend with Haki.

But there was still a time difference. The Boa Sisters could easily block bullets, but the other Amazonian warriors might only react when it was too late.

The fallen Amazonian warrior jumped up the next second. Although blood was still flowing from her forehead, she was perfectly fine, and furious.

"Damn it, that guy dared to attack me!"

They were furious with their usual arrogance.

All the Amazonian female pirates were enraged. The next volley of arrows covered the opponent's deck again. Except for a few running around, the other Spade Pirates instantly climbed the mast and used the height of the mast to charge.

"Too bad." Alistair, although lacking in combat power, had been among the Amazonian warriors for a long time, so he had a basic understanding of Observation Haki. The opponent's tactics were correct, but they were all under his control. Their jumping from the mast or leaping from the deck was nothing surprising to the Amazonian warriors.

The next volley of arrows was faster than expected.

These arrows should have ended the battle with Haki, but because of Alistair's words, they subconsciously showed mercy.

Otherwise, none of the Spade Pirates who had jumped would have survived.

But even so, the snake bows, relying solely on arm strength, were enough to severely injure all the Spade Pirates.

They were all pierced by arrows, instantly nailed to their mast.

"The battle is over." Alistair shook his head slightly. Suddenly, a huge sense of danger enveloped him. His sixth sense made his hair stand on end. He saw, heard, and smelled a bullet flying towards him...

He instinctively ducked, trying to avoid the bullet that would have blown his head off, but someone was faster.

Green hair instantly formed a metallic wall. Armament Haki-coated green hair was like an iron wall. The bullet spun on it, eventually losing its momentum and falling to the deck.

"How dare you!" Hancock was furious. If it had been a direct confrontation, they wouldn't have said anything, win or lose. But to ambush the defenseless Alistair, to ambush the one she loved...

It was an unforgivable crime.

Alistair felt a chill down his spine. An invisible force spread out. Before he could savor the feeling, he saw the Spade Pirates, nailed to the mast and struggling in pain, their eyes roll back, instantly losing consciousness.

"What..." Ace, the only one who hadn't been nailed to the mast and had reached the deck, turned his head in surprise to look at his friends. When he turned back, a growing toe was already in front of him, kicking him unconscious...

"This is... Conqueror's Haki?" Alistair looked at Hancock, who was stepping on Ace, and asked in surprise, "Are you okay, Alistair?"
