Chapter 94 - The Powerful Vision

"Wanda, I think you hurt Vision's feelings," Iron Man said to the woman, hovering in the air.

Everyone present couldn't help but feel a little surprised. From Iron Man's words, did this woman named Wanda have some special relationship with Vision?

"You locked me in a room," Wanda retorted, glaring at Iron Man.

"Firstly, that's an exaggeration. Secondly, I was protecting you!" Iron Man explained.

Next, Iron Man exchanged a brief greeting with Hawkeye, and then they started to fight. Hawkeye shot several arrows at Iron Man.

Iron Man easily dodged them all.

"You never miss? Everyone has a first time!" Iron Man said with a hint of mockery.

"Look behind you!" Hawkeye replied confidently.

Following Hawkeye's words, cars began to fall from the building behind Iron Man, one after another.

It turned out that Hawkeye had blown up the floor of the parking garage, causing all the cars inside to crash towards Iron Man.

Iron Man immediately began to defend and dodge, but Wanda's hands emitted two red energy balls, which could actually control those vehicles remotely.

She made those vehicles crash towards Iron Man.

"Wanda, she's a magician!"

Everyone was very surprised. This was the second magician they knew, after Doctor Strange.

Just wondering, who's stronger, Wanda or Doctor Strange?

The battle continued. During the fight, Captain America's team gathered and charged towards the Quinjet.

But at that moment, a powerful beam of light suddenly shot down from the sky, carving a deep gash into the ground.

Captain America and the others were forced to stop.

An alien wearing a cloak hovered in the air, looking down at Captain America's group.

"Captain Rogers, I know you believe you're doing the right thing, but for the greater good, you must surrender!"

Vision said this as he slowly descended to the ground.

It had to be said, Vision's entrance was quite impressive.

"This Vision is really something, just as expected of someone who can wield Thor's hammer!" Black Widow exclaimed in surprise, and the others agreed.

Even though Vision hadn't done much, his ability to fly and the beam he fired earlier spoke volumes.

As Vision landed, Iron Man, War Machine, Spider-Man, Black Panther, and Black Widow gathered around him.

Opposite them stood Captain America, Winter Soldier, Falcon, Ant-Man, Wanda, and Hawkeye.

The two sides faced off against each other.

"What do we do, Captain?"

"We fight!"

After Captain America said those words, he led his team in a charge toward the other side. Iron Man and the others charged forward as well.

Civil War, about to erupt.

The scene froze right there.

Even so, everyone could imagine that a fierce and spectacular battle was sure to follow.

"I have to say, this isn't something I want to see," Nick Fury spoke first, clearly stating his view. "So let's analyze why this civil war happened and see if we can avoid it beforehand!"

Everyone agreed with Nick Fury's words.

"From the images, the direct cause of this battle is the Winter Soldier... or rather, Bucky Barnes."

Black Widow summarized and analyzed first. "Sir, you don't seem surprised by the Winter Soldier's true identity. Looks like you knew something in advance."

"I'll tell you everything later," Nick Fury shrugged, then continued to analyze based on Black Widow's words.

"'Ross gave us 36 hours,' 'Hand over Barnes,' clearly, the General wanted to capture Bucky, but Captain America was protecting Bucky, which led to that civil war."

This much was obvious.

"So, the question is, what exactly did Bucky do to warrant the General's personal order for his capture?"

"Whatever it was, I believe it was a misunderstanding!" Captain America declared firmly to everyone. "You all saw it, I wasn't the only one defending Bucky, there were other super soldiers too."

"So many super soldiers believe Bucky is innocent, isn't that enough to prove the point?"

"They might just be following you!" Thor interjected.

"Barton also made the decision to help the Captain protect Bucky." Nick Fury nodded. "Barton is my most loyal agent, I don't believe he would protect a real criminal."

"Bucky said to Black Panther, 'I didn't kill your father,' could it be because of that?" Coulson chimed in as well.

"Someone killed Black Panther's father, and the general mistakenly thought it was Bucky?"

"That's possible!" Nick Fury agreed after some thought. "Captain referred to Black Panther as a prince, so the deceased must be the King of Wakanda!"

"The killing of a country's king, even if it's the king of the poorest nation in the world, is enough to alarm the general. That makes logical sense."

"Although I don't quite understand why the Winter Soldier is actually Captain's good friend Bucky, the Winter Soldier has been a ghost for fifty years." Black Widow added. "If he really assassinated someone, the chances of the news leaking out should be small."

"Rogers mentioned five other super soldiers, and some kind of psychiatrist. Could they be involved?" Thor asked.

No one knew the answer to that; the information revealed in the image was simply too little.

"So, what we can do now is focus on the King of Wakanda? Prevent him from being killed in the future?"

Black Widow asked, glancing at everyone.

"No, I'm going to get Bucky out right now!" Captain America said firmly. "The General wouldn't misunderstand Bucky for no reason. Someone must be framing Bucky! I can't just watch this happen!"

Nick Fury immediately felt a headache coming on.

He had been planning to carefully monitor that Hydra secret base he'd finally found, but it seemed that was no longer possible.

Captain America definitely wouldn't just sit around and wait with him.
