These past four months has been the worst months ever for Edward James, he's always in and out of the hospital and today isn't an exception.
Kristen and doctor Lazarus just came out of the ICU both worried about their friend who is right inside the ICU looking pale.
"I don't think I keep up with his stubbornness any longer" Kristen told doc. Lazarus.
"Me either, she needs to know the truth" doctor Lazarus said to which Kristen nodded to but a faint voice spoke behind them.
"Do you want to die! Why did you come out? Kristen bellowed at the pale figure who barely stood up right but supported himself on the door.
"I new you both will go against your promise" Edward James said in a barely audible voice.
"Why do you care? She needs to know and not her treating you like a criminal Edward! Wake up from your slumber and see she doesn't care about you" Kristen told him now mad at him.
" I don't blame her, I deserve her punishment for breaking her trust" Edward James said but both his friends couldn't care less but injected in so he could sleep more. After they helped him back to bed they made plans to pay Maria a visit.
Main while on an Island where Maria was loosing it with her daughter who kept demanding to go back to the city.
"I wanna go back to daddy Kristen and mummy Essa" she said crying
"No you won't do that am your mum sweet, so you have to listen to me" Maria told her
"You're mean! Daddy Edward is sick I want to see please" she blinked her water clear eyes cutely but Maria wasn't gonna fall for it.
"It's bed time, now go on" Maria told her but her sobbing increased.
"Wicked mu-my y-you're mean" she said in-between tears.
"No am not, you have to_" she was saying but a voice stopped her
Looking at the direction of the voice she was surprised to see Kristen and the doctor she knew all too well.
"Daddy Kristen! I've missed you dearly please take me with you" little Maria said but her words struck her mom's heart like a bullet.
Her own child doesn't want her, she has been trying her best to gain her love back since they got to the Island but failed.
"Your methods of raising a child is incredible" Kristen said with sarcasm in his voice
"What do you want?" Maria asked him dismissively
"Ah, there she goes again. I think I should learn your methods of dealing with friends and kids perhaps I'd do better with someone who's off and on at the hospital for three months now but still claim to be strong" Kristen said playing with the little girl in his arms. Maria got the message from what he said, she wondered if what he said concerning Edward James was true.
"Lazarus let's grab something to eat if not we'll both die of starvation" Kristen told Lazarus as he located the kitchen".
"My Pearl you have to seat here, while I fix us something to eat" Kristen told the little girl.
"The mean mumy prepares delicious meals though I don't like her but I can't starve" she pouted saying
