Kassandra Bold has been leaving with Michelle for over five months now, though she had wanted to get her place but Michelle declined the offer as, it's just her and her son living in the cottage and having Kessy and her daughter made her feel more comfortable. Just like having a family around.
With the help of Kessy Michelle was able to make more pastries and Katrina helped her to create an app were customers can place their orders. The once mini shop now seem too small to accommodate customers.
Today wasn't an exception either as the shop was filled with people and Kessy helped in serving their request.
Moon and Katrina are in the community school and will be back later in the day.
"Kessy could you help take down the sales for today please, I'll just be in the restroom in a bit". Michelle asked Kessy but didn't wait to hear her out.
Kessy felt useless once again in her life as tears blurred her vision, ' am such a beauty without brains' Kessy murmured, Kessy is industrious in so many ways but writing has been her greatest challenge.
"Kessy are you done with it" Michelle asked as she made her way towards Kessy, it's past lunch so they had no customers in the shop until 4-5:30pm.
"Oh, am s-so-sorry Michelle I couldn't take down the record" Kessy stuttered feeling nervous and downcast.
"Okay that's not an issue, I'll do it, I left some strawberry cake for you" Michelle said as she takes her seat, so she can compile the days sales.
All through the afternoon Kessy pretended to be okay but she was dying inside though, Michelle didn't suspect anything today but what about the future. Katrina had been the one who helps her in writing when ever the need arises.
"Kessy are you okay, I've been calling you for dinner but you seem lost in thoughts" Michelle asked looking worried
"Am good, just got distracted" Kessy told her avoiding to look at her face.
"Kessy, you know_ despite the fact that we've known each other for about five going to six months, I don't see you as a stranger; you're more like a family to me. So you're free to talk to me even though am a little other". Michelle told her squeezing her hands softly.
Kessy sighed then hugged Michelle warmly "Thank you" she whispered and Michelle pats her on the back to cheer her up.
"Come dinner is served" Michelle said.
The four ate their meal joyously, having Katrina and Moon talking about their experience in school, both mom's listened keenly to their kids and was proud of them; Kessy was more than proud for her daughter and she wishes for her finish every level of education come rain come sun.
"Come in" Michelle answered the door when someone knocked on her bedroom door.
"Do you have some time?" Kessy asked as she stood by the door not fully getting inside the room.
"Yeah sure" Michelle said smiling.
