Lu Ting Cheng handed over his ID calmly, still visibly fuming. This wasn't the time to get arrested, anyway; they were in the wrong. "We were just in a hurry, officers," he muttered nonchalantly before leaning against his car. Lu Zi Zhen also presented his.
"Sixteen years old? Seventeen years old?" The officers clicked their tongues, annoyed! They always knew they were grown teenagers around 22 years old with the kind of bodies they had, but they were just babies.
"What?" Lu Zi Zhen didn't like the eyes the officers were giving him. Age is just a number; it didn't matter how old you were. If you could comprehend things and think faster, you could achieve anything you wanted.
"Do your parents know you were driving?" They glared at them. Those who were eligible to drive at their age were allowed to drive a motorcycle, but not a car; actually, with their bodies, people would think they were already of age and they didn't need to inspect their IDs.
"In a month, I'm turning eighteen, officer! I'm just practicing in advance!" Lu Ting Cheng felt like snatching those documents out of his hands.
"Save it," the officer said curtly, knowing these were just excuses, "You are both under arrest for reckless driving and endangering public safety. Turn around." The officers were really having fun, and even the people passing by them took pictures.
As the cold metal cuffs snapped around his wrists, Lu Zi Zhen muttered under his breath, "This is a hell of a way to start the morning. When I haven't even had fun at all! Officers, how about you let me race for an hour and then arrest me? I don't think it has any difference." Lu Zi Zhen gazed at the handcuffs.
The officers glared at him.
Lu Ting Cheng didn't say anything. This was just another lazy Friday, he didn't mind messing around.
They were taken into the police cars and their cars driven by their guards over to the police station.

Downstairs, Lu Wan Ruyi was done with her breakfast, so she went over to the sitting area with her mother, just having a random chat. She wasn't fazed by whatever was happening, she knew her boys knew how to handle the situation.
Lu Zhi Hao emerged from the bedroom with a travel bag in hand, he walked over to the sitting area. He looked at his wife, his concern etched across his facial expressions. "We should leave for the clinic soon, and then shop around for a dress," he said softly before kissing her forehead.
"All right..." Lu Wan Ruyi warmly nodded her head, she got up with her husband holding her arm, and just then, one of the maids rushed into the dining room, visibly nervous. "Sir… Madam… something has happened."
Lu Wan Ruyi turned around and gazed at the maid nervously since the boys had gone out, "What is it? What has happened?"
"There's been a call from the police station," the maid stammered, flinching nervously. "Young Masters Ting Cheng and Zi Zhen… they've been arrested for reckless driving on the highway."
The silence that followed was so sharp, it nearly cut the air in half.
"When did they start driving? Where are they now?" Lu Wan Ruyi was infuriated hearing that! She rarely let them drive; each had his own chauffeur, and they knew traffic rules very well.
"They have been taken to the central station downtown," the maid said in a small voice.
"Let's head out." Lu Zhi Hao and his wife immediately left the mansion while making phone calls, calling their lawyers over.
The car was already waiting for them; they boarded and drove out of the compound.

INT. POLICE STATION – HOLDING ROOM – DAY
The walls were just white, sterile, and reeked of boredom as usual. No one likes committing a crime for no good reason, and people didn't like getting caught up in between these four walls.
