The morning after the school bus left, the gaunt middle-aged man who had brought Roy and the others to Ambras returned in his pickup truck. This time, a woman dressed in a black nun's habit was sitting in the passenger seat.
The woman held a Bible and a crucifix in her hands, clearly a nun.
However, the nun had a very alluring figure. The simple black habit looked particularly tight on her, almost like lingerie.
"We're here, this is Ambras!"
The gaunt middle-aged man's eyes were fixed on the nun, his gaze filled with lewdness. He completely failed to notice the changes that had occurred in the town of Ambras.
The nun ignored the gaunt man's stare and pointed towards the wax museum ahead, where some embers still glowed.
"It looks like a building over there caught fire."
"What? Fire?"
Hearing this, the gaunt man was startled. When he looked towards the wax museum, he indeed found that the building was gone, replaced by a large, burning pit.
"How could this be!"
The gaunt man had just thought about getting out of the car when he felt something pressing against the back of his head.
If this were at the University of Tokyo, this object could be many things. But in America, it could only be a gun.
"Repent in hell, sinner!"
Bang!
The nun directly shot the gaunt middle-aged man in the head, his blood and brain matter splattering everywhere.
In fact, this gaunt middle-aged man was one of the Sinclair brothers. Among the three brothers, the eldest, Bo, was the most evil, and the idea for the wax museum was his.
The second brother, Vincent, was originally conjoined with Bo. After undergoing surgery to separate them, he was missing a part of his body and could only wear a wax mask, hiding beneath the wax museum as the wax figure artist.
In this world, the brothers had somehow completely transformed themselves into wax figures.
The gaunt middle-aged man was the youngest brother. He was responsible for finding prey for the wax museum, usually people who got lost near Ambras or whose cars broke down.
These people were brought to Ambras, where they were tortured and killed by Bo and Vincent and then turned into wax figures. Their belongings would then be taken away by the gaunt middle-aged man.
So, it was perfectly reasonable for the nun to call the gaunt middle-aged man a sinner. The question was, how did this nun immediately see that there was something wrong with him?
The nun got out of the car, her movements a bit awkward, looking like a precious scene of early humans learning to control their limbs.
"Damn it, these two burdens are really annoying! Does Isabella usually move around with such big burdens?"
Having finally managed to get out of the pickup truck, her two prominent assets bounced heavily a few times.
Afterward, the nun closed her eyes and sensed the area around the large pit where Bo had died.
"There are two demonic auras here, but one is dead."
Then, the nun went to the front of the wax museum and sensed again.
"There's also a demonic aura here, and it's dead too. Could it be infighting among demons? Then where did the surviving demon go?"
Demons fighting among themselves over the division of spoils wasn't particularly strange. What truly surprised the nun was that the aura of one of the demons had completely vanished without a trace.
The nun amplified her sensory abilities but couldn't find any trace of that demon. Instead, she sensed a convoy of vehicles heading towards the town of Ambras.
"Police? Looks like I have to leave."
These police officers were the result of Roy and the others reporting to the police in Waterfall Town last night. The Waterfall Town police department didn't have jurisdiction over cases outside their area, so these were Texas State Troopers.
As the Texas State Troopers searched the town of Ambras, a shocking major case was brought to light.
Most of the details of the case aligned with the story Roy had made up, but some parts remained unsolved mysteries.
For example, the gaunt middle-aged man who died at the entrance of Ambras Town. When the Texas State Troopers arrived, his blood was still warm, indicating he had just died.
However, the police found no clues about the killer at the scene and ultimately had to close the case.
Well, America has plenty of unsolved cases, so one more doesn't really matter.
The scene shifts back to Roy. After returning to Waterfall Town last night, he was so exhausted from his encounter with Elizabeth that he wasn't even in the mood to open the box. He went home and crashed, sleeping until noon the next day.
Fortunately, school had already started its break, so Roy could sleep in as late as he wanted, as long as his family didn't mind.
"Roy! It's already 12 o'clock! Why aren't you up yet? Do you want any lunch?"
A terrifying creature known as "mother" woke Roy up. He quickly washed up, changed his clothes, and went downstairs for lunch.
At the dining table, Roy chatted with his parents casually.
"Roy, do you have any competitions this week?"
"No, the next boxing match will start after New Year's Day. Is something the matter, Dad?"
Roy looked up at his original body's father, Philip, who clearly had something on his mind.
"Well, your mother and I were discussing it, and we wanted to go on a vacation for Christmas. What do you think?"
Hearing this, Roy immediately understood what Philip meant and couldn't help but roll his eyes inwardly.
These two definitely wanted to ditch him again and have some alone time.
Roy had suspected more than once that the original owner of this body was probably just a free gift with a phone plan, otherwise, why would his parents always want to leave him and go on vacation by themselves?
Oh well, Roy also wanted to have his own fun with Jennifer, Needy, and Heather. Since that was the case, he might as well let his parents have their wish.

"I don't mind. It doesn't matter where you guys want to go, but I also have plans to travel during the Christmas break."
He couldn't just keep messing around in Waterfall Town; it was time to mess around in other parts of America too.
Philip smiled kindly.
"No problem! Dad will cover your travel expenses for your Christmas vacation. Consider it a reward for reaching the semifinals of the Cowboy Cup! Is $5,000 enough?"
Well, in this era, $5,000 was indeed enough for a solo trip, and Roy also had some money of his own.
But who would complain about having more travel funds?
"Ahem! Dad, this Christmas break, I want to travel with Jennifer and Needy."
Roy's mother, Sarah, glanced at him.
"Are those the two pretty little girls who are always with you?"
"Yes."
Philip and Sarah exchanged a look, their expressions becoming strange. Then, Philip spoke first.
"Roy, can you tell us which girl you actually like?"
"I like both of them."
Sarah frowned slightly.
"Both? Do they know about this?"
"I think they probably know, they just haven't said anything."
Philip and Sarah opened their mouths, probably shocked by the way young people played these days.
Sarah asked again, "But, but, what will you do if you get married in the future?"
"I plan to convert to Mormonism."
Silence fell over the dining room.
After a while, Philip replied to Roy, "Son, if this is a decision you've seriously thought about, your mother and I will support you."
"Thank you, Dad."
