~Bella's POV
I stretched out on the bed, groaning softly as I rolled over to check the time on my phone.
"Ugh… already 8:30?" I mumbled, rubbing my eyes sleepily.
I sat up slowly, still wrapped in my blanket. My body felt heavy, and I didn't feel like doing anything right away. It had been a long week, and all I wanted was a slow, quiet morning.
After a moment, I stood and dragged my feet to the kitchen, opened the fridge, and grabbed a cold bottle of water. I took a few long sips and leaned against the counter, letting the coolness wake me up a bit.
Then I remembered Mia.
"I should visit her today," I said to myself softly. "It's been a while since I went to the hospital."
I took out my phone and scrolled through my contacts until I found Donald's number. I tapped the call button and held the phone to my ear.
"Hello? Bella?" Donald's voice came through cheerfully.
"Hey, good morning," I said gently.
"Good morning! Ready for the road again?" he chuckled.
