~Sabrina's POV
I could already picture it… Alex called Bella, confronting her, asking her what that man meant to her. She would probably stutter, and try to explain. But doubt would already be planted in his heart.
And once doubt takes root, trust starts to fade.
That's all I needed. Just a crack.
I sat back on the bed and let out a slow breath, feeling a small wave of satisfaction. For the first time in days, I felt like I had a little control. Like I wasn't just sitting around, waiting to be replaced.
But that small sense of victory didn't last long.
My fingers drummed against my thigh restlessly. What if Alex ignored the message? What if he trusted her so blindly that even this picture wouldn't matter?
No. He wasn't stupid. He'd notice the closeness. The body language. He might even recognize the guy. Who knew what conclusions he'd come to?
And if it didn't work now… well, I had more.
I would dig deeper.
I would find more dirt.
